Nothing is worth more than something from a person that have very little give. That is major faith! Larayia is the type of characteristics that I look for in a elected official where they are volunteering in the community and actually have their sleeve pushed up and doing the thang. She was very obedient to that inner voicee and was given the gift of feeding those around her. She came to the realization and shared a lot of good life lesson for such a young age. Her story definitely resonates. I was abused by both of my parents for 28 years. I think so much of what causes us to endure this is the innocence & disbelief that it’s our parents treating us this way. Wondering if she is a Scorpio or perhaps has a Scorpio stellium with all the rebirths she’s experienced.
This story is so incredible to hear because I've been having literally the same experiences with homelessness and getting into my own place for the first time based on shear faith. It's crazy to hear someone else having that experience.
I identify with her so much, the abuse from the mother and not understanding it when you just need love. to being homeless while having a full time job. doing what you were supposed to do and being homeless several times anyway.. to being homeless several times. loosing everything multiple times but thinking "I'm alive I have food water and a car to live in." Not having much money but still giving. Giving to the Ronald McDonald house through ebay on every thing I found at thrift stores and resold while being short of money wondering if i should turn off donations but couldn't because at least my child was healthy... I cried watching this. Because no matter how big your heart is as a woman of color. The first thing someone focus's on when seeing you is your color...
This is one of the most impactful What’s Underneath I’ve seen... she is so wise and powerful, I’m brought to tears from her words and will follow them for days to come... so much respect and admiration for LaRayia. As a young person, this is a future self I aspire to be ❤️

Not everyone is innocent though and people know what they're doing even if it may come from a place of hurt, they *know* they're hurting us. It's up to us to let go and grow and wish them well in your head, but nobody has to forgive sh*t in my opinion. People need to get comfortable with the fact that some people have been through a lot more than some people can imagine and been asked about forgiveness etc is just *wrong*. How we deal with what happened is another issue, but to be forced into fake forgiveness to make *others* feel better that it wasnt all in vain, a *big no* to that!! Some people have suffered enough and dont need to be guilted into anything anymore. Weve lived in guilt of displeasing toxic parents long enough, we dont need more guilt!! And we are allowed to grieve as long as we need to, it's very painful when all you ever wanted was for it all to be ok since age 7.

We have a similar story of homelessness. I left home for the same reasons. It never felt like home anyways. Lived out of my car. Showered at the college I was going to. 8 years later. Things aren’t great but much better than they were.
