I'd say following Fergie was a lot harder than following Klopp. Big difference in club control and achievements.
If Chelsea get Osimhen, I'll be worried. Especially with Nkunku gaining fitness, the Enzo/Caicedo partnership developing & of course Cole Palmer. Chelsea could be one to watch. They won't win the league, but they could sneak in top 4

Not discounting Dalot’s contribution,there’s certainly a reason why Bruno won Sir Matt Busby player of the season.
So much so,he was further rewarded with a contract extension!!!

I'm kind of leaning towards Hojlund as being the best player this season, because he looked like an absolute beast in the few minutes he played against Arsenal.. But still if I was putting money down I'd put it on Bruno because he never gets injured.

Defensively much better. We won’t concede half as much. If the front four start finishing their chances… and score from a set piece or two again… then top two in PL and a cup. Europa would be good. Would show progression and readiness for CL next season.
Excited how Zirkzee and Bruno may gel. Rashford and Antony will be better. Mainoo and Garnacho to get even better. More youngsters to appear. Very positive.

Best New Signing : People are considering Zirkzee but Mazaroui is the one who will be the most impactful player for me.
Most Improved : For me its Amad Diallo, I expect good things from him.
Break through : Harry Amass, if its Toby Collyer I wont be surprised.

Top 4 would be brilliant, and FA Cup/League Cup depends who we draw round for round.. Europa League will be nice to win, but lets see. A trophy in one of the competitions would be great though.. Best Player - I hope Rashford will step up and prove hes good enough to be a United player. I agree, de ligt is our best new signing. Most improved would be Amad, as you predict.. Maybe hes going to get his breakthrough.. I think so..
people who are very optimistic watch last seasons games and the community shield(its on youtube if you want it) , there are alot of things we do the same.1) we still dont push our fullbacks in the press making it easy to by pass 2) our build up shape is still bad its not only personnel problem , we used this shape last season against wolves away with our full back line and still couldnt build up and went long 3) so either we press and concede shots like last season or sit deep like in 22/23 season
my question to people is would you keep ten hag if he finishes third and lets say gets us a trophy (probably fa cup or carabao ) knowing damn well he cant make the next step to win a league title??

Our Full focus should be on the europa league. Consiodering there will be no drop out teams from the CL and the current pool of clubs should be something that Man United should be able to overcome if we are not complacent. With that we can qualify for CL the subsequent year and in a sense able to "compromise" PL as i predict this season is gonna be one of the hardest season as even some mid tier team are making good moves on the transfer market.
Amad could be considered for breakthrough as well since he didn’t play much last season
With the squad man utd have now in depth we should be winning the epl 2024/25 and further honours nevermind predicting the season no excuses strength and honour man utd forever go my boys
Agree top 4 and winning Europa League would be a great season. As you said squad doesn't have enough depth to go far in domestic cups if focus is on league and Europe

We will have had a good season if there is general agreement next summer that our new signings have all improved the squad, OT is a fortress again and United are exciting to watch, there is no debate about EtH and we only need two or three additional signings to challenge for the title in 25/6. Exactly where we finish is less important than how we play but if we get Ugarte we will be very hard to beat.

No excuses for not finishing top four. Villa will struggle with CL football. Liverpool will probably drop a bit with Klopp gone. Newcastle's first 11 isn't as strong as ours and they have a thin squad. Chelsea are a circus. Spurs are Spurs.
For the cup comps we should be targeting the Europa. Would love to win that thing, plus the final is in Bilbao, one of my favourite cities. Not really bothered about the domestic cups, Erik please rotate the team for the domestic cups and dead rubbers in the Europa.
