This is true. Men need to take more private lessons with both men and women. But West Coast Swing is a partner dance, not a lead and follow dance. If you are not getting a playful dance such as these from a significant percentage of the men you dance with, whether we are novices or all-stars, it might be because you are following us rather than dancing with us. I posted the Strictly Open, all the All Star J&J and now most of the Professionals Jack and Jill. 2 or 3 later this week. Please, If you like this video, please Like it because it makes a difference to CZcams as far as muting the music on all my videos with bogus copyright claims on the background music. The more people that view and like and comment, the less likely they will be to mute the music and ruin the video.
Yes, this is a great dance. It is the best I have ever seen John dance. I know there are many videos on CZcams and this is not even my most popular video of him dancing but it is my favorite. I am an old man now and there are limitations to what I can do. John also has limitations but he has become one of the best leaders in spite of them. He is an inspiration to me. And it looks like Riga Summer Swing will occur in 2021 so maybe I can get a dance with Irina! Or maybe at Baltic Swing!
