People are quick to overestimate Unreal Engine graphics and underestimate the magic of sound, music, worldbuilding and straight of atmosphere. These devs clearly know what they're doing.
Fucking cool, the audio is doing a lot, really interesting mix of kind of old school sample cd SFX vibe mixed with really distinctive soundscapes, love it.
I can finally say what feelings I have watching those teasers. It's like I'm finally allowed to fully explore a city from System Shock 2 introductory part! Have it on wishlist for several months now.
I'm glad I got recommended your video, your concept of classic immersive space with your own spin on gameplay is refreshing and interesting with lots of different aspects on a grand scale. I love the animations and sound and hope we learn more about the story and premise soon
please make firearms about four or five times louder. they don't sound powerful and dangerous as they should. otherwise this is probably one of the best games i have ever seen.
This demo paints a very interesting picture of what to expect of the game. Love the slow pace mixed with controls that cater to fast paced combat. The way the aiming reticle behaves kind of reminds me of peace walker a bit too.
It will be something cool. Environmental aesthetics and art design with classic graphics. This is a great way to concentrate on gameplay, mechanics, art design, and not focus on graphics. does the large gaming industry say that development becomes more expensive by developing mediocre games. It's a pity that the release is still very far away, it looks cool.
It feels like you are trying to deliver what Strfield should have. i`m not a big fan of such style, but somehow this blend of artstyle and modern tech looks and feels good! Your work is another proof for me that artstyle > realistic graphics. And more importantly gameplay > graphics. Fluent animations and integral artstyle give a player posibility that photorealistic games can't give - let imagination to build up this world :) I wish you luck and can't wait to see finished game!
This looks insane! A chance to enjoy the nostalgic feel in a modern game? Unreal!! My only complaint is that those engines wouldn't be capable of making flame trails like that in space 😂
Looks cool, good to see that you have an aesthetic nailed down. I also liked the more floaty feel the controls have, akin to MGS. Sad to see so many questionable things through. Like why are you there and what are you doing (The biggest one honestly, because if this was supposed to be anything but a gameplay showcase it failed). The less important things are: If you introduce a small swarm like this, why would conventional weapons be effective at clearing them out? At their size and smaller, all that would be really effective would be are of effect weapons, akin to flamethrowers, as firing bullets at them would not be time or ammo effective, not to mention the survival rates. Another small thing, why did the dropship thingy fall like that? If it's dropping from orbit it doesn't make sense, neither does it work if it's like a star wars ship that doesn't care about orbital mechanics The ship also doesn't have landing gear, or even a straight connection to the ship itself it seems.
That launch is so forceful a space-ship wouldn't benefit from something like that, especially since it would now need to expend more fuel to create enough thrust to counteract the downwards motion it was thrust with. Plus there was no indicator to tell what exactly caused the force that pushed the ship suddenly downwards which hurts immersion a lot. I would really love it if you re-visit the cutscene and maybe consider making the space-craft more like an aircraft so it could actually benefit from a launch that forceful; or make the launch more graceful and controlled so the space-craft you modeled can benefit.
While I think this looks awesome and absolutely love the attention to detail/where it’s being put. I can’t help but feel even more confused about what this game is supposed to be (I literally had to go check my steam wishlist to see if I was just missremembering the name or something)
I gotta admit, I became less interested from the first combat encounter and onward. Some satisfying blood-spurts on those "combine"-like enemies though👍 and along with others who noted, I appreciate a flashlight that actually provides some light too!
This Look damn cool, so atmospheric. Can't wait to play it. Is it possible to remove the decreased Resolution Effect, or is it essential for other effects?
I love how even in the madness of space there is always a universal constant: Shotgun
Had to be.
the mighty broomstick transcends all realities
"Outland". Best way to deal with the bad guys, even in space👍😉
10/10 it's so awesome seeing the aesthetic nailed while also using modern techniques too. Super excited for this.
I love this. The feeling of the gameplay is somewhere between modernized Syphon Filter and MGS4.
3:11 YES!!! A FLASHLIGHT THAT WORKS!!! GODS BE PRAISED!!!
Excellent Soundtrack btw
character seems like it has actual weight. combat looks interesting. I like it, will keep my eye on it
whoa, the second ever strand-type game
What's the first one?
@@dixset5122Death Stranding. Upon release, the creator Hideo Kojima said it’s a new type of game called Strand game I think.
Surprisingly good audio for a project of this size.

The animation is amazing. Feels incredibly physical.
Nobody has made a space game with a breakcore soundtrack before because THEY WEREN'T BRAVE ENOUGH.
look up early 2000s jungle and liquid sets
Its jungle
This looks great. Wishlisting.
That breakcore is ON POIIIIINTTTT!!
Looks great. Weapons deff need recoil and proper animations.
This is insane, literally how you remember PS1 era games looking like
Amazingly atmospheric and so cinematic😍
I wish you all the best for this unique project! Can't wait to see more!
Thank you !
I like the transparency. Looking forward to the complete story.
If Denis Villenueve made a Playstation One-era game..
This has become my most anticipated game. It looks and sounds incredible. Very inspiring!
Incredible :)
That makes two of us!
Yo why did it made me felt like watching the armored core 2 opening scene from when I was seven, loved what I saw
9:58 In space, no one can hear you Wilhelm Scream.
Well, one guy.
LOL! you caught that
Fucking cool, the audio is doing a lot, really interesting mix of kind of old school sample cd SFX vibe mixed with really distinctive soundscapes, love it.
Very nice, getting Peripeteia vibes from the music
Instant wishlist, this looks sick. MGS vibe/movement, Dead Space vibes. So excited for your studio's game!
Guys this looks phenomenal! Incredible animation, GUI, and scope!
I haven't been excited for an upcoming game in forever. This looks so good.
yo this shit looks like actual kino, was very happy to hear the crew bumping the break beats entering atmosphere
"Oh my God that's some funky shit!" - The Prodigy
Hell yeah! looking sick, nice to see some gameplay, pretty hype. Cant wait to see more
I can finally say what feelings I have watching those teasers. It's like I'm finally allowed to fully explore a city from System Shock 2 introductory part!
Have it on wishlist for several months now.
Dude, everything that you have is just fire: sound design, visuals, just all of it. Waiting to play it

Looks good so far, especially for a pre-alpha. Good voice acting, a solid visual style, I can't wait!
This gives SOOOO much atmosphere than any hi-fi game. Day one for me.
wow the running animations at 13:00 are really impressive. ya, this looks like fun!
Holy hell, this looks gorgeous! The sound design is incredible. Can't wait to play it!
please make firearms about four or five times louder. they don't sound powerful and dangerous as they should. otherwise this is probably one of the best games i have ever seen.
I agree. The audio is otherwise on a very good level, but the guns could be louder
@@MrSn4rk especially on a permadeath game where only a few shots will end you or a target.

Amazing, love the atmosphere!
I had no idea this existed before now.
I am looking forward to this.
Very cool, what I love the most is when you do the scan environment thing 😍
Awesome. I was blown away when the dust cleared from firing the minigun thing and the geometry of the ground completely deformed.
you mean that thing labeled 'rock drill' that was drilling into the ground?
Do you know what a drill is?
Arg, I don't want to be spoiled about gameplay. I'll wait the release. But here's my comment because you highly deserve some CZcams approval.
Thank you :)
Outstanding! I just wishlisted and can't wait to pick this up when it's ready.
Finally...this is the type of game Ive been waiting for
Great aesthetic and the gameplay looks intriguing. Definitely keeping an eye on this.
Love the art style.
I have no idea what this game is even supposed to be but I'm on board!
I was late to the party when I played it in the early 2000s. Already was a classic back then. :)
How tf are the animations so insanely great
as always, looks absolutely phenomenal!
So excited for this. Cannot wait!
Holy moly this looks incredible

Holy cow. That looks amazing.
I love the mix of source engine sfx and new
Game looks like MGS+STALKER vibe, looking very good for pre alpha

Looks awesome! Wanna to play so badly!
I'm getting flashbacks to alien trilogy on PS1.
I love this, amazing vibes
Looks amazing, well done
loving this

I swear I would shit myself if I had a game like this on playstation 1
so hyped for this, feels like real artists are making this game

Classic console pixel graphics are an untapped art form, and this is clearly a masterpiece.
Take my money already, sheesh!
This is giving me Half Life 1 and System Shock 2 vibes! Easily in my top three games I’m most excited to play right now. You’re doing gods work 🙏🙏
Love it!!!

It has been considered to include a 'Nostalgia setting' that enables/disables some of these effects.
I have no idea what's going on in this game. Why are we drilling? Why are we shooting at people? Why are they shooting at us?
I am getting G String vibes from this
universal constant 2: Fists
this looks like a great game, i hope you guys release it
It gets better by the second
Very intriguing. Gameplay first, graphics absolute last. I like it.
PS1 GRAPHICS. COVER SYSTEM. SPACE SUITS. 80S SCIFI AESTHETICS. GIVE IT TO ME NOWWWW
So if I back rn for early access what am i getting my hands on? Is there any sort of gameplay loop established atm?
10/10
This looks incredible! Im stull not sure what the player's goal is however. Is it just exploration ir is there some form of looting?
From the creators of half-life and singma construction
Yes fuck yes
the third person crosshair kinda reminds me of signalis ui, did you get inspiration from Signalis? Cuz if so, that's awesome.
Who produced the soundtrack?
so the voxels are used to determine the ground deformation or what?
Deus Ex and Barotrauma had a baby?! 👀
when will we be getting a release date / alpha play test / early access ?
