Since you probably won't see this on YAW, I just wanted to say that I love all of y'alls videos. I've been here since the beginning of YouAlwaysWin, and remember the introduction of can we survive and Chris x. YouAlwaysWin will always be my favorite channel. Love you guys! ❤
Hippo looks amazing with the new wheels and tires! Can't wait to see what trouble you get up to with her. Beautiful views again and yes I cried (as per usual). I'm pretty sure that was a golden eagle that was flying there, especially if that wingspan was actually 6 ft.
Looking 🔥 can't wait for the new content soon 😉
Dude I dig the shirt😂 I use shirts like that too when I go out bass fishing, it feels real good when it’s hot as heck out there. But those shirts always gave me a Bill Dance kinda vibe, look him up and you won’t be disappointed, one of the funniest guys ever😂😂
Great video man, I think the Hippo looks great!
And loved how in depth you went with all of this.
2:07 Stealthy '22' drop! Blue 22! 😎
Love your wheel and tyre combo and want exactly the same.. What are the wheel size and offset please?
I got these wheels and I was going around and around and around….nice
Howdy! Hey, at about 3:30 in you mention you'd not put this tire on a truck, but then mention how heavy this LC is... I am actually installing this size tire but the Toyo ATIII LT255/80-17 (33.1" X 10" X 17") on my 5500 lb aluminum-bodied, 5.0 Coyote-powered 1/2 ton Ford next week! and I can't wait. Always wanted a 33 X 10 for this 1/2 ton because I've always thought the 285/70-17 on the truck now just too wide. Oh well. Now, here we are. That, and all the points you state that inspired your tire decision... exactly. Other than your reluctance to try these on a larger rig. That's enough out of me. Happy New Year! 2024.
Hi Chris,
What rim offset are you running ?
Looks nice with the new tires! And can see your confidence in them! Lol bookin it. Beautiful terrain too
I went down down down and the flames went higher! And it burns burns burns!
P.S. - you should bring binoculars with you, so you can scout. Wouldn’t want someone to sneak up on you unaware
Chris, nice upgrade to the LC. Please tell us if you required to add spacers for the wheels or they got the correct offset for the LC. Keep the nice videos.
Hippo on roller skates sounds about right lol 😂
Hippo is looking good! Nice fit! Handling appears good. So, let me get this straight, longer is better than wider...wink!🤣
:-)
😜
Awesome tires friend looks really good ohh don't forget to add CB radio or you going to use it for other things
The humidity plus the heat is always a pain in the butt. Here in Central Texas we get a lot of that. After 40 years I'm still not used to it
Meaty your land cruiser it is gonna be awesome
Is there a 2nd video when the offroading starts?
tires look good!
Hey Chris i love the look of those wheels, looking to grab a set for mine LC with a simmilar tire size like yours. Could you tell what offset are you running? How the wheels are holding up? Did you got any tire rub! Keep on rollin'! Cheers :D
Tires looking good man they are styling and profiling 😎
The question is, does it rub?
Bro I need your expert advice.
I have a Prado with stock tires 265/65r17.
Now I have done a 2 inch suspension lift and am looking for all terrain tires.
Should I stick with 265/65r17 or increase the tire size to 265/70r17?
I use it for going to deserts on weekends and as well my daily drives to work.
I heard increasing the tire size effects the pick up power.
What do you think of this size?
235/85 / R16
For Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series
Use it for off-road
Skinny, but rocky
Hello Chris, thank you for your videos..we in SA used 255-90-16 in empty Quarter sand, its a sand tire NOT DOT come in 34 to 36.5 inches very tall and skinny, best tire for all terrain sand and rocks/Graber road abused
After owning my 100 for over a decade, the first thing that I should’ve done was the suspension. Then worry about tires and bumpers etc.
Great vid and did you do the old manu emu 2” lift and also the slee front diff drop to compensate on cv joints? Thanks
I was wondering to myself ..is he gonna say 255? Heck yeah brother, I run those(on factree 18’s)but 3” lift on my GX460. Love em! Goes like stink in all sorts of terrain. Snow, ice mud, gravel, airs down on the rocks nice. Diff terrain here in Vermont but wheelins wheelin
How would these narrower tires do in deep snow? I'm lifting my 05 sequoia and everyone seems to go with the 285/70/17s. But I found this size and I'm considering it as long as they're good in snow.
My dad's friend had one of these and had the same tires as you one day we were going to the mountains and he had to go up from 1 rock and because it was like a spike as soon as the rock touch the tire it exploded and we didn't have a spare
Hey meaty how r u doing
Nice looking slim meaty good job
I think the 99 or 00 was the last good year on the 100 Series. Those years didn't have hydraulic ride height and they also came with a selectable rear locker and CDL.
They all come with a CDL, but the 98&99 models had an optional rear locker. Not all the 98/99s have it though.
100 series didn’t even get legit V8s until ‘06-‘07; those are the coveted years.
Hey Chris, are you still liking the setup after having used it for a couple of months now?
Great video! Can you tell me what offset those wheels are?
Vert very COOL. Great info
Has Gunns seen the vehicle yet?
No humidity in Arizona? Damn in monsoon season up in page we have so much humidity it sucks
I've been debating between getting 255/85/R16 and 265/85/R16. Where in AZ did you make this video?
What do you think of the new Ford Bronco? It's not out yet, but it sure looks dope. All it needs is a CD player, a place to plug in my subs, and availability in orange to top it off for me. I'm thinking of trading in my CX-5 for one.
looks cool, i had a 1966 bronco it was a beast. we shall see how the new one does
Very nice set up. What is the offset of those wheels ?
Chris :-)
Nice
Hey mate, can you please tell me if it has a suspension lift?
He said in the video that it’s not lifted.
Can I please be your apprentice. I know you can teach me a lot about the oil rig.
How much if a lift does it have?
He said it isn’t lifted.
@@23chnge 19mph actually, but yeah, that’s how the system works.
The Hippo looks great, but I disagree with what you said about tire width. It's about surface area, so length and width both matter. Maybe with a thinner tire the tread digs down into the dirt more, idk
How are you liking this setup?
Do they rub
That's a Toyota for you made by Lexus
First!!!!!
