One tip that I have for some people who are struggling is to find some characters that pop up clones / summons / leave a big thing floating in the air for persistent damage to lower the bars in his optimization phase. My best one so far was Knull's Dragons. You can pop off the skill right at the start of the phase without getting locked into the animation, and they'll last long enough for two ticks of his optimization "armor". This leaves you free to run around to dodge while your dragons attack Ultron. Same goes for Wave and her clones.

Human Torch also does pretty well with his lingering tornado on 4.
Aero's wind bomb can also be good for this. She's one of the only characters on my roster that can do this fight

You can also switch characters right before he uses all six stones. So if you are about to lose your main striker then switch to your support right after you unfreeze before he kills you

Unlocked him but haven’t really tried beating him yet. So, this helped a lot
You kinda need to practice it all anyway. You should spend a couple of runs just playing over and over again, so that you dont get it wrong anymore.

I have four percent pierce I’ve cleared infinity Ultron 5/5. I failed with Spidey around twenty times until I finally got his rhythm and then it only took one attempt for all my teams. Stage 1 I think is only difficult just because of those blade twisters.
Makes sense; since the arena itself is not that large and Ultron has a lot of area denial attacks, the Blade Twisters may very well make stage 1 more difficult than stage 2.
Yeah can confirm stage 1 is incredibly more difficult because the twisters. I could barely complete it once and then I did the other 4 clears in stage 2 in one shot
i have 4% pierce and cleared ultron stage 1 with Cyclops(insight) Sugi(judgement) and Human torch(obelisk) team.human torchs movement speed and attack range really helps with the clear.ign:- harshal0072

another tip if you are going to get caught in onme of the gem attacks, you can switch characters and be immune to that attack. and allow you to do a full rotation

I foolishly thought stage 1 Infinity Ultron would be pretty easy after so much experience with stage 10+ WBL.
I lost my whole team like 7 times before I could get my first clear.
Sure, his stats don't seem to be that high but his attacks and the stage mechanics are amazingly brutal.

He should be a uniform, the devs definitely have the power to make the uniform as powerful as a natural T3, shoot I've been struggling on resources since Sentry came out lol just tryna keep up with the game
I have 4% pierce and F2p and was able to beat him with spidey, very fun and challenging content!
Hardest part for me was when he summons the extra dimensional energy. Will take me a bit to get the patterns down to avoid it.
Even though im only on Stage 5, I do have a tip for the Strikers, you want to choose 3 increase damage strikers, 1 Pure Evil, and 1 Ignore dodges, trust me it helps. Try it out.

Hey Alex, I found that Luna Snow completely counters Ultron. When he goes into his optimization phase (when the bar gets full), you just do her t3 and run around and it will whittle down the charge. But it’s highly unlikely because Luna has so many hits that I don’t think you’ll go into that phase too much.

His so many one-hit-kill skills fit his level of power in the TV series very well, but at the same time, it's extremely annoying...
If we get a articraft for Ultron in this world boss legend then in future this maybe a uniform for Ultron

Good morning alex & MFF community. I really hope we get a mid month upset with either M-dragon as new character or hawkeyes(Both clint & kate)update.
In think there’s a bug in training mode, where sometimes all the attack in the world barely moves his bars. It seems to happen after disabling his optimization mode with three basic/auto attacks between stones like you showed here, or after his inter-dimensional energy beams square dance. Happens around 21 bars or 12 bars.

the time freeze instant kill might be canceled by co-op at exactly 11 sec left on the time freeze icon
I love what they've done to the WB UI. Now they can add some MCU villains as WBU and eventual op characters as WBL.
If/when they add infinity ultron I hope they make him a uniform because I don’t want to waste my t3 materials on another native t3

I just unlocked him and I'm able to kill him 5 times! I'm with only 2% pierce but they're doing pretty good so far, this guide is helping a bunch

I have cleared it with 2% pierce in my cards, 2 times. One with cyclops lead moonstone dmg, and mystique support. Second team Wanda lead, supergiant dmg, and Valkyrie support.
With yesterday's Mephisto runs I was done with white fox and i was able to defeat him in training and today I'll get the icon

You can also dmg block when failed to stop Ultron using Star Lord's 5 cancel 4 skill... I tried it a lot of times when he's in my team and it always work!

Got my 5 clears, love how this mode has made chars not in the meta conversation useful like knull, quicksilver, proxima m, silk and Odin.
Alex idk if u remember me I used to be a top guy and u were always helpful to newbie or a bit weak players while a competitive and strong player I was like okay. (U did some favorism or mistakes to which is normal for human) but now that I comeback from a 3 years break and Ik I will soon master everything and will be like wtf r u doin haha but yeah. U r helpful for now. Doesn’t matter 100% accurate or not but u indeed r helpful. Always been. I never disagree on that
They could add something like ultron uniform tokens to ultron wbl
And with idk 10 _20 of them you could buy an ultron uniform

I'm just wondering if he would do dispatch missions for requirements the objectives in blue like mind resist bring in magneto or red guardian for examples. Having trouble finding characters that actually have certain abilities that aren't actually listed straight out

I cleared stage one with knull(main damage) ctpe, task master with insight, and valkyrie, and I only have 2% pierce. My account is "alpha titans" and I have the Ultron icon equipped as proof.

Alex my theory is that the uniform is unlocked through the WBL, to unlock the uniform-changed skills you need to use T3 mats for his uni. Also, I hope nat gets a uni too

I have 4% pierce. I cleared stage one once. My team was leadership Mephisto (incomplete build gear lv.20) with regular Judgement, he mainly used too keep the optimization bar low. Main DPS was moonstone with regular Energy and Taskmaster support with insight. It took me several tries but I did it on the first possible day. You can check out my builds and cards, IGN: CA5T3R
during optimization you can spam and cancel skills and switch characters as well
Bonus: Characters with fast movement (like sentry/ironman) has more chance to get survived in blue stone (Space Gem) attack where ultron hits you three times.

Energy From Another Dimension isn't always Clockwise/Counter-Clockwise. Sometimes for giggles he'll do top/bottom, right/left. I hate that one the most.
For the space stone attack you can avoid it with switching character

When you change characters while he is using the stones, the"new character" gets invulnerable to the effect
cyclops is decent for the stone phase, his 4th skill is fast and moves him a lot
Is Ultron bugged or is it just me?
With some specific characters, when I get down to about 9-11 bars, Ultron's HP freezes and I can't do any more damage. And that goes on forever (it's not just a few sec immunity)...
When we get the what if skins, it's a must, the only reason I think they haven't released it is because the what if Dr strange looks more powerful than Dr. Strange in the multiverse of madness

Still haven't managed to master the blue stone attack. Never seem to have enough time to run away from the attack. Any tips?

Mephisto is my best climber for Ultron so far, i hold his 2nd skill until Ultron s
Imo.. makkari is super good for this cuz of her 1st skill( cuz of dashing for hitting bw stones ) .. I only have 6% pierce and I have just 140 proc on my makkari..( which is temporary).. I don't even have phy atk on my cards . Just 72% all atk.. and I can clear stage 1 Ultron with 1 min left... With sersi support and Shang chi lead
If you're frozen co-op keeps you from dying

When you say "use auto-attack" do you mean do a basic attack? As far as I know, auto-attack is a button that can be toggled on or off.

Yester day I beat ultron stage 3 with only 4 pierce and I beat him 3 times of course with ctps
I still can't beat ultron 5x daily. i can only clear it twice. Maybe it's still fresh, until we get used to it. And i think characters with high movement speed is a must too
i cleared infiniity ultron with 4% pierce too, with makarri and dr doom

What about lingering effect like T3 skill of luna that can break the optimization phase..
