Such a great overall review of the pack. I love how you highlighted the Simmers who did the builds and to make sure to watch lots of reviews. Thank you for breaking it all down for us! Also, that last base game hair you showed wasnt the correct "braided loc" one. That one you showed we got a few months ago. The braided loc hair is a double braid (piggy tails). Just fyi❤

I think the only concern/potential complaint I have is towards the base game update, lol (I am so excited for this pack. I actually liked some of the CAS and I almost never do)
With the romantic boundaries system, it seems there's only options for open or closed relationships. I was really hoping for closed poly. Or... actual poly. Since open =/= poly lol
So I kinda wish the phrasing/mechanics of things was if your partner flirts/woohoo's with a non-partner. So committed relationships are well and good but don't go chasing new tail.
Hopefully someone can mod this or Maxis makes an update so you can like... create "groups" with your partners.
I can definitely see where you are coming from, let’s hope modders can expand upon this new system even further!
People always forget that not every pack is for everyone. I pass on high school years and growing together because it doesn’t match my playstyle. This one REALLY match my playstyle, I will fill this world with spa and nightclubs and pools and bistro and have lots of online dating and relationships and parties 😊. My sims about to get much steamier. I play on console so no WW so this is perfect ahaha.

I love family play so i have crowing together.. i have high school, it can be fun for me, especially when i go to school as an occult like spellcaster and cuz it bring some gameplay for teens. I hope we will have fun with this new pack too, cuz i like romance gameplay too

This is the best review I've seen! I'm glad you mentioned the boundaries changing with partners. So far, I've seen every sim agree to change their boundaries immediately when asked, and I think that should be more difficult or at least take more time to do. Thank you for being so thorough!!
you are so kind! and yes i think its realistic to discuss boundaries with partners but its WILD that every sim is so quick to say yes. i hope they tune it!

Was the mural something you could access outside of debug? Or would you have to dig for it? I LOVE the romantic mural and was hoping we'd get it in art. I LOVE that we can now hide the relationships we don't want!!! Honestly, I think the copy/paste button is one of my favorite details surrounding this pack!
I really appreciate your critiques and how you are not afraid to cover the cons as well as the pros. I really liked the idea of this pack but the trailers to me felt a little lack luster. Hearing more from you, Simsie, Springs, and Gluon have really helped define the material that comes in the pack. I'm a bit intimidated by all the changes but I /love/ the idea of being able to deepen relationships and explore that! I look forward to seeing more Lovestruck content from you!

It's a pity that Turn-Ons doesn't include occults - The mod Wonderful Whims allows your Sims to be attracted (or repelled by) humans, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, aliens, plant sims, and mermaids. I feel like this game missed a BIG trick in allowing the overlapping of expansion packs there. If a fan can do it, EA can. Who doesn't want a vampire and a werewolf to fall in love and have cute, little cross-breed monsters? :D
im not sure if it will or not?? i only have base game and lovestruck installed in this video so maybe there is still hope
This was a good overall review. I am more excited about the base game updates than what the expansion pack offers and will do my usual wait for the pack to go on sale thing.

Thank you for this in-depth and insightful review. I stopped playing Sims 4 after For Rent because of how broken the pack was. Seeing Lovestruck reignites my interest in playing Sims 4 and I'm looking forward to experience the pack soon.

Just wanted to correct you on the three new base game hairstyles coming the ponytail and the colorful braids are incorrect the new two hairstyles are male hairstyles a pullback ponytail and locs 😊

This is definitely more of an expansion pack than horse ranch, all my sims have relationships but not all of them have horses

Does anyone know if my sims will be able to be in poly marriages? Or is it only poly dating?
As far as I’m aware you can still only marry one sim at a time but I haven’t tested it yet

i think it makes sense to only have 1 marriage, since in most IRL countries it’s illegal to marry multiple people 😅
