You are very quick to respond your community. I remember you stated in your Ombré Leather Parfum review that you favored The EDP over the Parfum. However, this video is still very much appreciated. Ombré Leather is currently my no.1 in my collection, the scent is so addictive and it feels amazing to wear, ever since I have it I’ve had to use it everyday. To me it is perfection and I don’t bother discovering fragrances anymore. But here is something very interesting regarding my experience with Ombré Leather. I believe there was an error batch of Ombré Leather (2018/2019) where Initial spays smell super aggressive like gasoline on top of deep dark new leather. no floral no spice, just leather soak in gasoline. I remember having tested Ombré Leather in store with my friend, we both perceived the same thing (gasoline+leather) and had heard a lot of good things of Ombré Leather I kept going back at it again to try to discover other facets (floral, spices) but It was impossible for me to tolerate with the scent for more than 10 minutes. I did not see why people would want to smell like leather dip in gasoline, it just straight up upset the nose. I left Ombré Leather and never looked back until 2 weeks ago, when I blind bought it because I came over a good deal. the first spray smells heavenly, it blew my mind. No gasoline whatsoever, no roughness, I could just smell very close within 5s after spray on skin. Just immediate balance of leather/floral/spices so beautiful. Complete opposite of what I experienced earlier. And, I believe this (my bottle) is how the scent supposed to be and not the tester I tried from the shop. The fact that I go complete from ‘intolerable’ to ‘my no.1 in my collection’ should illustrate how massive the difference is. And, if you watch Ombré Leather reviews on YT: Many people also describe the aggressive gasoline/leather stinkiness while many others say it is a beautiful, balance blend (not mention of gasoline vibe). But yeah, I completely agree.. Like I said in the video, Ombré Leather (original) is one leather fragrance that I will always be happy to recommend. Interesting. I also tried Ombré Leather months ago and disliked it. I could only smell the leather, and it wasn’t pleasant. I smelled it again today and it was amazing.
I tried one of these but I’m not sure which one it was 😢 I think it’s the Parfum. The opening was pure leather perfection. Dry down into floral, a bit synthetic but I loved it. My wife hated it but it’s a fragrance that stays in my mind.. want to try it again. I’ll see if I can try the OG next time.

If you can own both, do so, I feel that the parfum is much more of a wearable casual fragrance and the OG should be saved for those special occasions where you want to be noticed and remembered.

_I have many fragrances in the TOM FORD line, and Ombre Leather parfum is my second favorite. (My first being Lost Cherry). I will say the Ombre Leather Eau de Parfum and the Parfum layer extemely well. Great video for sure._

For me a masculine fragrance absolutely has to have leather notes in it. I found the Extreme Leather to be so incredibly similar to Ombré Leather which is why I'm excited for your opinion. Moreover, the new Tom Ford Eau D'ombré Leather has just been released which is an EDT concentration & would also love your opinion on it 😊
I just watched about 15 different comparison videos for hombre leather, as I want to buy one or the other and 2 months ago I smelled original in sephora, and really liked it, but then the parfum released which I have not smelled, but I like bold and powerful and everyone pretty much say that original has that and parfum slightly subdued or fresher from what I understand, so I am going with original and logging into sephora now, thanks for video rotten.
Hi Gerald! Both are GREAT fragrances IF you love the scent of leather. Everything is subjective and you´ll get different opinions on which is more bold/powerful and what not.. 😊 I like both, and I definitely recommend both to someone who likes leather in fragrances. I do lean more towards the original though. Not necessarily because I find it to be more bold or powerful, simply because it's scent is to me very addictive and a bit more beautiful than the parfum. Sandra (often featured on my channel) prefers Parfum (she recently talked about it in this video: czcams.com/video/MHgXzld55Bs/video.html The original is so good it's one of my fragrances for life. @@rottenrebels I think I'll get the original EDP. They have a tester for it but not the Parfum and it is cheaper. I liked the EDP and it lasted even after washing my hands from where I sprayed to test it.
I did try out ombré leather parfum yesterday evening and I tested it again today as my sotd. But I still prefer the OG over the parfum. I was testing Guilty absolute a couples of weeks ago but to heavy, dirty and to much gasoline vibes for me. So I went in another direction and this afternoon I ordered Rare Carbon from afnan.
So Ombré Leather Original for you as well then.. 😊 I had a similar reaction the very first time I tried Gucci Guilty Absolute, but the dry down is much smoother and I was hooked 10 minutes after my initial "shock".. Now I just love it. 😍 I have not tried Rare Carbon.. Did not know there was a Ombré Leather clone out there 😊
@@rottenrebels I do have Club de unit but I am not that big of a fan when I comes to clones. Not being a snob or anything but it just doesn’t give me that same feeling. But I decided to try Rare carbon for the leather scent that it is, not because it is similar to Ombré leather Edp… because then I could just stick to Ombré leather Edp 😉
ahh.. I see! 😊 I really could not care less if it's an original or clone, all that matters to me is the scent itself. How good it is.. And that's where I see most clones fail. VERY few clones are the same (or super close) as the original.. Armafs latest ones are great, rasasi also have a few good ones but overall.. Most clones really smell as cheap as they usually are. Rather have the original which is the scent I fell in love with than try a less well-blended copy of it that doesn't give me the same feeling 😊
At first sniff of course the original seems better. But trust me Parfum is a different level, smell like money. The most uplifting shit I've ever smelled. Give it time
I tested both out today and the edp lasts 11+ hours can still smell it on my hand the parfum had the better opening but sadly was gone on my skin after 4 hours gonna get the edp

Your reviews have convinced me to go with Tom Ford Ombré leather. I purchased a bottle today. I’m also a big fan of PDM so maybe next Fall I’ll pickup Godolphin. How does the ombré leather compare to the Tuscan Leather Intense? Which do you prefer? I have the Tuscan Leather Intense and my biggest concern is that it doesn’t lasts long on the skin
Hi! I only had a sample of TL Intense (wish I bought a full bottle of it) and I like that one A LOT. I do think I would go with Ombre Leather though. It's pretty much the perfect leather scent 😊
Have you bought one yet? They’re both completely different. I’d say the Dior is much more of a traditional smell. They’re both performance monsters though!
Ombre leather 16 was better than both , thicker and stronger buy nobody bought it because is was a private blend and tuscan leather smelled even sexier and stronger
