Is it any wonder that this has been a part favorite for decades? It's all cheerful, joyful, feel good, and happiness all the way.
It's been too long since I last saw the video. Can't remember the last time.
All those bright and cheerful colours too. And do you know, I can't think of any other B-52's song. I even had a single of theirs going back before Jan and I were married. And I can't think what it was called. (I only bought it because of the bands name. I'm a die hard aviation enthusiast, and have been since before I could even talk).
If I might be so bold as to mention one to look at, Peter Gabriel, Games without Frontiers is the one I have in mind. It's far from what I usually enjoy, but as with all things with him, the video is really interesting. Is it retro? Oh yes, it goes way back. TTFN.

Frank Ifield - She Taught Me to Yodel. I'm sure you know the song, it's from 1963 (18 years before I was born and I know it). Introduce your audience to vocals more impressive than the likes of Whitney, Adele, Mariah, Celine, etc. Or for pure yodelling, Franzl Lang - Yodelling

I thought I'd suggest a few that you might not know: B52's - Rock Lobster, Clash - London Calling, Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity, Gorillaz - Feel Good inc., Sweet - Ballroom Blitz or Blockbuster, Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood, Prodigy - Firestarter, T-Rex - Get It On, Kinks - Lola ( or, Waterloo sunset, or any of their vast back catalogue), Slade - Cum On Feel The Noize, Jam - Going Underground, Undertones - Teenage Kicks, Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick (live version), Ultravox - Vienna, Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen, or Anarchy In the UK, Motorhead - Ace of Spades, AC/DC- Thunderstruck, although I think you'll enjoy any AC/DC song (Just never express a preference for either vocalist, wars have been fought over less).

The whole album Cosmic Thing is full of fun uplifting songs. One of my faves if I want to put a smile on my face and forget my woes.
