that's if we're taking what the architect says at face value. His words, just like the oracle's could be crafted to obtain whatever result he needs to obtain
What seem to be previous Neo's on the Architect's TV-monitors, I prefer to view, as predictions of reaction, either based on previous reactions, or, based on the architect's study of human beings. Whether it is only 6 versions, though, or more, each version would have to also include 'certain measures of control' that involve the 'real world'. Simulations within simulations, or, semi-simulations within simulations, whichever. The architect also told Neo there were measures of survival they [the machines' "were willing to accept." [referring to without any human beings]. What would those be? I could only assume feeding off of other dead machines, or jacking machines into the matrix, and perhaps, feeding off of them, or, even feeding off of energy created by sentient programs, placing them - in a simulation. Also one thing I am still thinking about, is how Neo enters that room where he speaks to the Architect [And I hope Helmut Bakaitis returns as the architect in Matrix 4]. We see a light "the door made of light, etc," then a zoom-out, to reveal a star, among other stars, in space, then the room. Did Neo teleport away from earth, to some station orbiting the planet? Sure, he's still in the matrix, but, data can be sent probably more easily than people can, in such a fashion, so conceptually I'm fine with this possibility. It would not be unlike the real parallel possibility you mentioned, about the humans possibly having a base that was not on earth. Maybe the machines did the same thing as those humans [if they did], or, at least, the architect did. He's been theorized to be the seeming-group mind neo meets at the end of 'revolutions' - I'm not sure of this, since it would kind of take the wind out of the sails on the phrase he utters to him about 'hoping they won't meet again.' 'we won't.' If the architect can do what those humans did, though, and I don't believe he is a human, but a machine, he can enter and leave the matrix as he wishes, just like the oracle could. Of course, they need security to avoid the ever growing problem of Smith. Side topic but I believe Smith is also a systemic anomaly, but one that was not predicted by the Architect, although I'm certain that he was aware of the growing issue. Perhaps the Architect, is not completely without emotion since he may 'pride' himself with his perfection, a threat to that would probably either anger, or disgust him [guess]. Smith is the 'name that shant be named.' Neo ultimately 'won by losing', so once smith took over everyone, lastly neo, he could be zapped [neo receiving said zap primarily, and we assume he dies form this zap, if in fact the real world we observe him in , by the machine city, is real]. Of course, this only created a temporary truce. But, Neo showed the architect that humans can sometimes make better choices than machines will anticipate. Why DID the fighting stop? Because Neo helped the machines, building a kind of trust, it would seem. One may ask, have such truces occurred in previous versions? The architect seems unsurprised when speaking to the Oracle, but that is arguably his mannerism anyway.
Those weren’t previous Neos. Those were neuro-projections on the screens. The architect is well equipped to read your code, especially since your physical appearance is just an avatar, not where your voice and air is physical coming from. Those constrictions are exclusive inside the Matrix, but in the Kernel you can override that and project however many linear lines of code, or thoughts, you want. Which is why about 3 times the camera zooms into the one monitor carrying his current thought that he decides to voice out.
The first movie of the series of three matrix movies was not tinted like the other two movies showing the fakeness of the matrix.. after the second and third were tinted they went back and tinted the first movie with a brite green and as the movies go on the darker the tint gets ....
Aside from the hints given by Archi and Mr. Smith, i think all the screens giving the very best hint on the number. As every screen had a different expression by Neo.
i interpreted the story of the architect as that there is a 6th version of the anomaly, being neo, as a certain amount of characteristics, he mentions this by claiming his focus is much more personal (trinity) when the former were broader (mankind). That does not mean that 'the one' (the anomaly) existed in the first 3 versions (pre, paradise, nightmare). The one was a RESULT of an anomaly being in something that was a 'mathematical' perfection/harmony. Since the 3 original 'themes' of the Matrix had people rejecting the matrix, then those cannot count in that perfection, and as such, neither did the anomaly that is neo/the one. However, if we concider that Neo in the movie is the 6th version, then there were 5 versions before, but what's interesting is that he does not actually says 'anomalies'. He says versions. This means that there theoretically could have been a huge amount of former 'appearances' of the anomaly, and everytime they got better at controlling it untill a new one pops up. They destroy zion and start over agin (the matrix simulation), a soft reboot if you may. Thus, there could have been hundreds of 'reboots' untill suddenly a new version pops up, taking another 100 years before the following, etc. That means the simulation of the 1980's - 2020's could have run an almost endless amount. What's interesting though is that if we concider the 'reboot' of the simulation, that key figures still exist within. After all, the merovingian's posse are all from previous versions of the matrix, as persephone also confirms. The merovingian himself also mentions he 'survived his predecessors' and that he will survive Neo. SO, there are elements/programs within the matrix that are thus not actually 'rebooted' but continue to run: The merovingian, former agents, the architect, the oracle, seraph, and so on. Neo mentioned 'or nobody knows' during the conversation with the architect, which is obviously referring then to the people in zion, as it's clear that even outside of the architect, people KNOW that there are more than one iteration of the one. IF the merovingian IS a former 'one' : which you could actually indeed concider. Persephone mentions the Merovingian used to be like him, neo. And that their love - Persephone and The Merovingian - was like that of Trinity and Neo. Which could thus mean that Merv IS the one from the 'nightmare version' (v3) and Persephone Trinity from that version. THAT would mean that even THOSE versions HAD anomalies. It would correctly mean that the One is a program that is 'generated' at one point. It would also mean Trinity is a program. After all, both Persephone and Merv STILL exist, when real humans eventually WILL age and die, but programs will not. It would also mean Merv and Perse will have accepted their roles and then go 'undercover' to avoid 'deletion' from the matrix, which could be why we see Neo and Trinity acting as they do. We also SAW that after the defeat of Smith, the matrix was actually REBOOTED, evidenced by the cat at the end. Which thus suggests, that, when Revolutions ended, we have a NEW matrix run. Which would HAVE to include certain programs to be rebooted, programs important for the architect to remain control. And since the ONE IS a program, aswell as Trinity, then BOTH will be 'born again' in the matrix. That goes for MORPHEUS too, as it's becoming more and more apparant that HE TOO, is a program of the matrix (knowingly or not). Which could explain a YOUNG abudl mateen actor portraying Morpheus. Other important questions then will be: WHO will be portraying Neo and Trinity then as their new young program reboots? I believe Neo should look the literal same as evidenced by the screens in the room with the Architect, but then you could argue that would just be an impression of the one, not the actual ones. Which could mean that Priyanka Chopra is not actually playing Seti (though i think she is, even though she also could be the Oracle), but could be Trinity. And that could mean that Neil Patrick Harris is going to be the One in this Matrix.
When I think about it. I'm surprised the programs don't realize that there is no such thing as a perfect operating system. There's always going to be a bug in the code.
I think each screen is a different possible path..like a quantum view every possible trajectory Neo could go..at least as many as the Architect could understand..
@@neilmurphy966 I Agree. Thats whats so powerful about all of the possible Neos turn to the same door. Also, if it was previous "ones" It seems wierd that none of them choose to reboot the Matrix.
@@erikohman2294 I see two reasons for that: 1). The Architect just told him he was going to do it, so it reduced the personal responsibility of the choice; and 2). The difference the Oracle added in this iteration was to give The one a love interest. The Architect even says that The One was supposed to be made to care about all humanity, to give them a reason to save at least some of them instead of a total wipeout of the human race. This time, though, his love for humanity is centered on a single person: Trinity. It is this stronger connection to the doomed individual that gives Neo the impetus to disregard the logical choice and accept his personal loss for the greater good for the hope of escaping the cycle they are all seemingly trapped in. Really, that love becomes a gateway to Hope, which is the real secret sauce the Oracle brought to bring this version of the matrix to a different conclusion.
@@seanthompson9163 Totally on board for the oracle introducing love for a singular person. To me this means that he disregards humanity for the chance of saving her life. I didnt see him as choosing to break the cycle as much as choosing to save trinity and happening to break the cycle. Also I allways supposed that by the time the Architect told him what he would choose, he had in all essense already choosen.
7 or 8 counting with the Revolutions reboot. I don't recall if the Architect was counting the Reloaded Neo as 6th time, he destroyed Zion, or destroyed Zion 6 times before meeting the Reloaded Neo. Persephone when killed the werewolf and vampire, said those were from an early version of the matrix. Meaning the machines picked very time periods before choosing the 1999 or 20th period.
Ive always wondered what all would entail restarting each matrix. Like, the people, is it the same humans plugged in the pods or do they restart with new humans? What kind of timeline is given, like the beginning, is it like the beginning of time or is it set at a time when human population was at a certain level so that they can start with enough of them? Edit: okay he explained most of my questions
Though I do not mean to say that @Matrix Explained is not the most informed source with massive amounts of information (at least for free), I disagree that the paradise and nightmare matrix were "beta" matrixes that did not include the integral human anomaly. Though any source can be lying or be in on a conspiratorial agenda (this is the Matrix universe being philosophical, after all), didn't the Oracle say that the first "One" appeared in the 1st matrix, which was a paradise matrix? He could remake aspects of that matrix. It is possible to interpret the Architect's words to Neo in "the Matrix Reloaded" to not indicate that the anomalies started in the third matrix with the red and blue pill system. Alas, we may never know the truth about this intellectual property if the Wachowskis cannot finish the franchise how they see is the optimal direction. Reasonably, the Architect ceased to exist after the Analyst's side won the Machine Civil War in the real world. He was likely one of the witnesses to the initial "One."
Well, each matrix is a discrete entity. Then there can be as many as Aleph Null number of them. But there are only three moveis and possibly four. So lets take there are indeed 6 or 7 counting the last one.
Decipher data=helpful but also realizing that end scene where the Oracle/Architect have a conversation you must remember they know all the world's staged meaning they were both acting there they were both lying both that the Oracle cared & that the Architect would keep his word. Otherwise I wouldn't be here... Or that is what NEO would say the 7th time which is interesting especially if you are under the impression NEO meaning he is E & if you come at him he's like NO hence that sub-way seen as NEO does not mean 1 it means new.
4:20 integral means, it was developed as part of the design, an percentage of error that could be accounted for, in this case, our choices being their errors. Once they accepted it as part of "our biological" program, they were able to integrate it into their "matrix program." The architect states, "...and we are getting exedinly better at it." So everytime the system resets, they are able to more accurately correct for errors = limit out choices.
Two different thing yes, but not completely exclusive.@@lrl64 When he said, "getting good at it." the "it" is obviously referring to destroying Zion, yes - but does isn't the whole thing causal? Act 1 - The One/Anomaly, then Act 2 - Zion. I guess for me, destroying Zion implies getting better at calculating outcomes of possible "choices" in order to "improve/get better at".
@@MahirSayar Or just better at destroying Zion from experience? The whole point of saying this will be the sixth time they have destroyed Zion before saying they have gotten good at it would suggest that. Getting better at calculating choices (or anything else for that matter) comes from experience. That's how AI work. They "do" over and over and improve from that. It is evident that the architect is no more better dealing with the anomaly now than he was before since neo did things he didn't expect as shown by him saying to the oracle "you played a dangerous game". My guy was not certain of anything. Lol
Wait, so the machines first made a matrix with angels that the humans realized it wasn't true (logically) but then they created one with vampires and other monsters and they thought humans will believe this to be real? The machines don't know that angels and vampires didn't exist or what? It doesn't make any sense to me that machines so intelligent could do that.
did the machine know Neo was the anomaly when he has born /conceived and thus give him the source code??if so how did they know it was neo..or was it just time to give someone inside the matrix the source code so they chose neo? can someone please explain this?
I think this goes with way the Bible shows us the ages of the earth. Using the Bible as an example; there are three ages of the godhead; the age of God the father, the age of God the Son and the age of God the Holy Spirit. Within those three ages are seven dispensations measured by a thousand years each. The age of God the father covered dispensations one thru five. The age of God the son covered the end of fifth dispensation. And the age of God the Holy Spirit covered the six dispensation to the seventh. I believe the matrix emerging anomaly was over lapping one into another creating small changes until it was time for an actual version.
I like to think that the number of TV screens in the Architect's office, is a clue, to how many versions of the Matrix, have come and gone. The sheer number of Neo reactions may prove that there have been far more, than disclosed in the series, and not just a case of demonstrating choice versus causality. Each screen could represent early Ones, who had stood within that portion of the program, reacting to the same statements, when they had to make their choice, to save the human race, and the machines. We already know that the Oracle manipulated every red pill, brought to her by Morpheus, az well as manipulating him. No reason why she wouldn't have lied about the actual year, and how long ago, the war started. Instead of hundreds of years, it could have been thousands. That and we have no idea how long each cycle is, in the real world. Years in the Matrix, may only take seconds, in the real world.
@@erikohman2294 Look at Keanu's facial hair lol. Do you know why they use the term SNAP? Just wondering it's interesting to see how this stuff is perceived by the gen. population.

Looking at his nonesistant facial hair does not make me understand your point any better. Doesnt lead me to any snapping, nor to an understanding of Neo as a clone of the architect. Sooo.. Again I say, how did you land there?
If you consider the real world as simulation that's another version. Also note that the "real world" physically wouldn't be possible. The permanent cloud cover around the globe would had made the Earth very similar to Venus with boiling temperatures on the surface and pressure that would crush you instantly. You could say that there had been only 6 successful versions of the Matrix after the paradise and nightmare simulations, the seventh is after Neo supposedly died, because if the machines had managed to create the perfect simulation, the seven versions with a One would had been completely pointless.
@@sinra9379 The cause of the cloud cover wasn't global nuclear war but artificial chemical release. Anyway, the faith of the Earth may never be revealed in the next movie/s, so maybe it's pointless to speculate, but I'm expecting anything at this point even the real world being simulation, considering how much Holywood directors like to tweak things. Problem is, if Lana does choose the simulation she'll be literally coping Inception.
The Architect is Designed. Because Matrix is Just a Movie. There was a Script .. Don't know if anybody remember it. There was acting involved as well Keanu knows that.. pretty clearly.. from All 3. IT'S A FUCKING MOVIE EXPLORING A CONCEPT. HUMAN MIND.. THAT IS ALL.
Something Morpheus said. He doesn't know what the year is. So it could have easily been 100s of versions of the matrix. Hell there always Alpha. The guy in the white suit even said there a level of survival we are welling to go down too. I wonder if it means forcing power out of dying humans or using a real power source...
There can be as many as two zillion, but out of them all if there is no understanding about a person's role being there, anywhere, you will always have another zillion behind that reality. The truth we see that all possible realities collide & co exist together as one everyday, but no one wants to leave out of there comfort zone easily to question another's place in there reality in this everyday order we accept easily. The architect has no equal opposite. If he did then I believe his days of trying to make the perfect world would end and he would stop picking on the resistance. Then find the reason in himself to build without looking back and stop being a worry wort of a brainiac perfectionist.

Amazing info and videos
The first movie of the series of three matrix movies was not tinted like the other two movies showing the fakeness of the matrix.. after the second and third were tinted they went back and tinted the first movie with a brite green and as the movies go on the darker the tint gets
....
Wonder if the new movie is actually Matrix Zero in disguise
I believe Neo should look the literal same as evidenced by the screens in the room with the Architect,
but then you could argue that would just be an impression of the one, not the actual ones.
Are each screen a different version
Yep
In this video you refer to Neo as the one, but in other videos you say he isn’t…..
My favorite character is the Oracle. She is so believable it was a shock to me when I realized that she wasn't on the humans side.
With Matrix 4 trailer dropping today, I expect the channel blowing up in subs.
Best damn channel out there.
Kudos -- 444 Gematria -- 🗽
Ive always wondered what all would entail restarting each matrix. Like, the people, is it the same humans plugged in the pods or do they restart with new humans? What kind of timeline is given, like the beginning, is it like the beginning of time or is it set at a time when human population was at a certain level so that they can start with enough of them?
Edit: okay he explained most of my questions
Sou muito fan do kaenu mais voltar a fazer o mesmo filme de vinte anos atras essa nao tem que fazer novos filmes
Matrix 7.0 (turns out to be a trojan)
1 paradise and 1 nightmare matrix then 6 chosen ones --
Well, each matrix is a discrete entity.
He said they were getting exceedingly good at destroying zion. Not at integrating code from the anomaly. Two different things.
Lol
Isn't the paradise matrix the same as the first beta? Meaning a total of 8 (2+6)
Genius.
When's the new video coming out I miss them
Hopefully tomorrow.
The machines first thought those beings might have existed as mythical creatures (just like we think) so they were added to the Matrix.
did the machine know Neo was the anomaly when he has born /conceived and thus give him the source code??if so how did they know it was neo..or was it just time to give someone inside the matrix the source code so they chose neo? can someone please explain this?
No every neo on the monitors behind neo is a failed version ,the architect recognized neo for a reason neo appears in every version of the one
Easy explanation of the Matrix is they never left. They are all still in it.
So it's all about what matrix the humans will accept
What if i told you is never said in matrix
what if the only person in the matrix is neo
There is no spoon!
Merovigian?! Fcking baby Jesus!
Atoms of doubt make molecules of faith!? 😉
Oh SNAP! NEO is a clone of the architect.
Now that intrigued me. How did you land there?
@@erikohman2294 Look at Keanu's facial hair lol. Do you know why they use the term SNAP? Just wondering it's interesting to see how this stuff is perceived by the gen. population.
@@johnmastroligulano7401 I would expect the "Oh snap" if there is some insult with a twist or if someone is being sassy. Feels like it could be inserted in a lot of "scrubs" dialogoue, because people there keep throwing digs around for comedy. Thus I dont see its use here. Looking at his nonesistant facial hair does not make me understand your point any better. Doesnt lead me to any snapping, nor to an understanding of Neo as a clone of the architect. Sooo.. Again I say, how did you land there?
What I see is just everyone dancing in a hot soup. Here is my pot!
Its a little bit redondant 😂😂😂😂
The matrix is Real

Can u get fat in the matrix after all foods not real right
If you consider the real world as simulation that's another version.

@@sinra9379
The cause of the cloud cover wasn't global nuclear war but artificial chemical release.
THAT IS ALL.
blue pill .... continue to believe
I thought no that all the different versions of the Matrix can be measured by the number of screens in the background
Well see if 2025 is another reset.
No less than 9 with heaven and hell being first processed by the Beta matrix.. Wow
And the hundreds of other possible permutations in between.
Something Morpheus said. He doesn't know what the year is. So it could have easily been 100s of versions of the matrix. Hell there always Alpha. The guy in the white suit even said there a level of survival we are welling to go down too. I wonder if it means forcing power out of dying humans or using a real power source...
Morphious was a program ,
There can be as many as two zillion, but out of them all if there is no understanding about a person's role being there, anywhere, you will always have another zillion behind that reality.
The only one matrix... Our matrix we live it everyday
Paradise. Adam and Eve ie the first men and women rejected paradise and took the red pill
