Jesus was not crucified in 31 AD. Eusebius , who wrote the first Church History around 325 AD, tells us exactly which year he was crucified in. Justin Martyr tells us exactly which day he was crucified on. This man doesn't have a clue about what he so confidently teaches. The Scripture says to study to show yourself approved, a workman that needs not to be ashamed. This man should be ashamed of himself. According to James 3:1, God will judge him more severely than a normal Christian for teaching false doctrine. It is mind-boggling how much ignorance there is in the body of Christ. Thee were only two years that matched all the Scriptural requirements, 27 AD and 30 AD. 27 AD is way too early. And if you haven't heard, modern research has discovered that Tiberius started co-reigning with Augustus in 11 AD, which makes 14 AD the wrong date to figure out when John the Baptist started his ministry. It is now clear that John started his ministry in 26 AD, not 29 AD. This is also confirmed by Daniel and the prophecy of the 70 Weeks. It does help to study a little, as the Bible suggests.

The Hebrew Calendar places Abib (Nisan) 14 of 31 AD on Monday at sunset, March 26. This date of 31 AD is also confirmed by ancient historians that state Jesus was crucified in the 18th year of Tiberius who began to rule in 14 AD where we include the 14 AD as the first year. Jesus was crucified on the day of preparation the 13th of the Jewish month of Abib but still on the Roman calendar Monday. Jesus rose on the 3rd day the 15th of Abib which is the Jewish 1st day of the week but in Roman calendar terms it is a Wednesday Resurrection Day. The term 1st day of the week which the Jewish gospel writers stated concerning the resurrection was later corrupted by the Emperor of Rome and the new found Catholic religion in the 4th century AD to make it transfer to Sunday's time frame to be in harmony with the pagan sun worship which they previously celebrated prior to Christianity. Christians since the 4th century AD have ignorantly accepted the Roman calendar as accurate calling Sunday the 1st day of the week but totally disregarding the true facts that the real Jewish 1st day of the week was around Wednesday. Even worse was the fact that Rome now called the 7th day as happening on a Saturday and forcing upon the Jewish leadership a 7th day Sabbath which was not the real 7th day Sabbath at all and still till this day the Orthodox Jews keep the Roman calendar false Sabbath of Friday sunset till Saturday sunset.
The real Jewish Sabbath at the time of Christ was determined by the Essene calendar placing the new moon as the first day of Abib and 3 days later on the 4th day was the first Sabbath of the year. This harmonised perfectly with Genesis where the new moon was created on the 4th day and the Sabbath was 3 days later. This first day of Abib new moon mostly happened just before the spring equinox so the Passover would always fall in Spring as it was written in the Torah. On some years the new moon just after the spring equinox of Israel was used to ensure the 14th day Passover fell in the warm months of Spring when the first Exodus from Egypt happened

With 31 a.d. as year of Jesus death that makes Jonah's 40 day/year (Jonah 3:4) make history's 70 a.d. as destruction of Jerusalem forcibly wrong. And then Nisan 14 Passover of the Lord as Monday, wherein Jesus ordered Peter and John to prepare the passover, and then Nisan 15, the day Jesus freed God's children from Egypt, and Jesus freed God's children at the cross to fall on Tuesday, and resurrect AFTER 3 days and 3 nights on Nisan 18 on a Friday. Something unbiblical. The true year of crucifixion in in 30 a.d. where evry date and day is in the right place. Your 457 b.c. beginning of the 70 yrs is just true in the Adventist study. It doesn't appear in google for other churches. The truth is with crucifixion in 30 a.d., add to that 40 days/years mentioned in Jonah 3:4 will give you the historical fall of Jerusalem in 70 a.d. and the the days he was dead Nisan 15, Thursday, High Day or Independence Day of Israelites given by God, the day they moved out of Egypt. So that "before the night" of Aviv 15 in Exodus 12:18 in the coming years after their exit through the desert and sea of 3 days and 3 nights God required them to "prepare" a bullock and roast it, Num. 28:17, and called it a night shabbat for people to do a convocation to give God glorious service for saving them on this day Aviv 15, as well ordered them to have merriment or do a feasting for the victory God generously gave them. Then in Nisan 16, 30 a.d., Friday the Marys's prepared the spices, Luke 23:56(b) and in Nisan 17, 30 a.d. Saturday, Luke 23:56(c) they rested according to the commandment. Then Nisan 18, 30 a.d. Sunday (for that year only), Jesus rose back early morning. Morning of Sunday shown arrives first in John 20:1, and later in the day Sunday's evening came, showing us that each day andnight remains to begin in the morning even in the new testa.ment times, just like during the time of Moses when the 7th day shabbat ARRIVES in the morrow, in the morning, as well as when the 15th day of the first month of Israel's departing Egypt began also in the morning, as the Aviv passover night ended when Aviv morning arrived, Numbers 33:3

@@mannybr2003 the issue with that is, in Matthew 28, it says after the SabbathS. It is plural.
Sajenus's rebellion did not occur till 31 ad, when he was executed. That had a factor in how Pilate reacted earlier to when he was dealing with the Jews and Jesus. If he was not concerned about what the jews thought, he would have just released Jesus.
So I think it was Wednesday in 31 ad Jesus was crucified, just to line up with history.
A Friday crucifixion is only possible in 30ad. And I will agree that would be the only other possible date, if I am wrong.

Luke 3:1&2 also places the end of the 69 weeks at 27AD and we also can home in on the date on which Jesus was born. Because Jesus had to die exactly to the split second mid way between the date of His birthday AD30 and the date of His birthday AD31(veil rent). Although there is a range of dates on which the Friday of the Passover can fall, April 22, AD31 has to be the Friday, if October 22, AD27 was the day referred to in Luke 3:23 when it says "And Jesus began to be about thirty years of age.
