what a pro john gooden is. other reporters always use the worst american slang when asking questions to guys that are still learning english. john is doing is best to make everything make sense for jiri

For everyone who is interested what Denisa means in our language.. It was a funny story, when Prochazka and his coach was in training center and his coach shouted "DENISA" to call some girl in this training center. Denisa is female name in our country and the only one who turned and ask "what?" was Jiri Prochazka.. So his coach wanted to make fun of him and started to call him DENISA.. :)

Also everyone who wants to know what BJP means. BJP is Jirka's favorite phrase. In early stages of his career he was known as crazy fighter. You can watch some of his fights - for example with Darko Stosic. He was mainly standup fighter relying on his "heavy hands and bombs" :-) BJP is hard to translate but it generally means something like "Punches hard as hell", but beside of my translation it contains vulgarism in our language :D Now he has his own brand called BJP - selling merch and so on.
He si also known for his BJP training. It means that he train even outside of gym, outside of his training routine. Sunday is usually considered as a free day, but Jirka has his Sunday BJP training - that's how he calls it. It basically means a different, unorthodox trainings - like sprints, futball, some strength exercises and so on.
For me he reprezents, hard work, clear and fair fight and most humility. We need more guys like him. Respect Jiri and wish you the best of luck. We love you. You will be real camp in this division that this division never have it. BJPs forever. Usss from Prague.

Well done John Gooden - so many interviewers know the fighter struggles with English but ask fucking stupid questions really quickly and with a lot of long words and poor pronunciation. A little bit of empathy goes a long way. Really good job with this John.

BJP (Bomby Jak Piča) can be translated as Bombs like hell. This word Piča is a lot more vulgar in Czech, it means c*nt, but in this context all phrase means just very huge and strong punches. It's Jiri's trademark of his punches and his brand of merchendise.
