Because people knew they could make him mad somehow, making him rage with the refs or with the player that fouled him. This is not supposed to he a thing , but it is . Referees usually make bad decisions on players that are famous for being "cry babys" cause they think the player is trying to make pressure on the ref to get some kind of advantage. So please luka . But even with all that I cut him a slack because I just cannot imagine what it must feel like when you are an offensive basketball GENIUS and there's NOTHING ANYONE can do to stop you (except yourself, when your shooting is off even though you still ALWAYS get to your spots), then you go up and you KNOW you have been fouled (you FELT it in your BODY) but the ref will let it go. Then you look around and see some guys that are very good in their game but don't come even CLOSE to you overall (SGA, Embiid) simply living on the FT line because someone sneezed next to them.

Kidd really messed up taking that timeout when the Mavs were continuing their comeback and were only down by 3, had all the momentum, were actually playing fast, and had just got another stop on defense. Coming out of that timeout the team looked like they lost all rhythm and Boston got settled.
I hate to blame officials, but Tony Brothers? 🤬. He ALWAYS screws the Mavs. Then, last night White is literally yanking on the arm of Hardaway Jr, looking at the ref, pointing out that he's fouling, and they just let White keep doing it while Hardaway tried to shoot a 3 and the refs STILL wouldn't call a foul on Boston.
It's not all on the officiaiting, but the officiating definitely has not been fair. There's been so many fouls that Luka should have got an and 1 on and the refs just won't call them. They're letting Boston play like it's WWE out there.

There's a reason Kristaps has been smiling all season, and it's not merely that his team is winning. He admitted that his own immaturity got in the way with Luka in Dallas, and he's now ready to serve the greater good of the team. And he's with a bunch of talented guys who also get that. (What he did not say -- because he, himself has matured since that time -- is that Luka also had maturity issues.)
Luka is still too much about Luka. Losing this series may end up being a beautiful wake-up call for him. Painful for him and you fans, but good in the long run. (Like the Celtics loss in the Finals two years ago, then not making it back the following year. It humbled them, and made them more motivated to play as a team. I hope something like that is in y'all's future.) ☘

Boston is a much more difficult team to defend for two reasons, this is probably the most open team in the NBA due to their so many three - points shooters, so it is normal that a player like Luka that is slow and has injury issues and also doesn't jump fast and high will be getting worst defense. The other reason is that makes Boston so unguardable is referees calling fouls on the opposite team for things that rarely call fouls on Boston, that way the opposite team will always have to be softer on Boston while Boston can make rougher entrances into Dallas players etc. It is not strange that in two games in a row, Dallas had two key players in key moments of the game got into 6 fouls out, with a couple of straight fouls that weren't rougher than plays that Boston players were doing precisely during the same part of the game. The result was easily observable if you watch closely every play, and this is something that happens mostly at the beginning of the games, giving an unfair advantage to Boston, or in the middle of the game, precisely when Mavs are getting into a very dynamic stage. Against Boston, it is specially difficult because it is truly an excellent team, if it gets this type of favorable treatment, it is almost impossible to combat. I've seen the same referee's behavior several times in other Dallas playoffs.

Here is why I believe that Mavs still have a (small but not negligible) chance (about 10%) to beat the Celtics and win the championship. People generally are terrible at using probabilities, making sense of statistical results, etc. Let me try and analyze what the historical data on NBA playoff series, where teams have gotten to a 3-0 deficiency, really implies. Firstly, let’s see the data. We have so far 156 such series, where 95 resulted to 4-0, 46 to 4-1, 11 to 4-2, and 4 to 4-3, all in favor of the leading team. This means that if we do not have any other information about the teams we expect the trailing team to win game 4 in 61 out of 156 times (about 39% probability), games 4 and 5 in 15 out of 156 times (about 9.5% probability), games 4, 5, and 6 in 4 out of 156 times (about 2.5% probability), and of course 0 out of 156 times (0% probability) to win all 4 next games. Notice that this pattern looks close to what we should expect from a series being 3-0, where the trailing team has about 40% (or a bit less, e.g. 35%) chance to win any given game in the series (game 4 40%, games 4 and 5 16%, games 4, 5, and 6 6.4%). All that being said we have to clarify two things: i) all this analysis is completely useless once you have more data on the teams and how they play each other, and ii) after each game, because of the independence of the results between the games we should re-evaluate the probabilities from scratch. Thus, for point (i) let’s hypothesize that the two teams are about equal and have 50% chance to win any given game in this series. The team that is trailing has now to win four games in a row which amounts to a probability of 6.25%. Thus, you can see that is still highly improbable but not impossible as implied by the 0 out of 156 records. This makes sense because we expect very few teams (if any at all) in those 156 3-0 series to be about equal and the record is not extremely relevant for our outlier case of the 50% chance to win teams. However, given enough series between equal teams occur we can get 3-0 scores also (due to symmetry) for 6.25% of the time and in those cases, the trailing team is just unlucky and most probably will not be able to bounce back. Now let’s get to point (ii), which is more related to what most people get wrong, and see how we should reason about the chances of the trailing team on a game by game basis. Let’s say that the trailing team that has 50% chance to win game 4, indeed wins it (there is no big surprise there). Now the score is 3-1.How we got to 3-1 does NOT matter for calculating the probabilities of winning the next games. It could have been the case that it was 2-1 and the leading team won game 4. The probability for the trailing team to win game 5 is again 50% and to win the whole series is (0.5*0.5*0.5*100% = 12.5%). The same logic applies to the next game after winning game 5 (50% chance to win game 6 and 25% chance to win the series). Finally, if they win game 6, there is 50% chance to win game 7 and the series. The overall conclusion is that it is far more informative to assess the probability of winning each game and calculate the actual probabilities than relying to the historic record of 156 games with very different team dynamics. For example, let’s say that 3 of the best players of the leading team are injured at the beginning of game 4, and this event increases the chances of the trailing team to win any remaining game in the series to 90%. Then, the chances to win the whole series is now slightly above 65%. Thus, in that case, the trailing team is actually expected to win the series. Now let’s apply the above approach to the Celtics vs Mavs series, with a small tweak. Let’s account for some extra information, e.g. homecourt advantages, assuming Porzingis will not play the rest of the series (which of course may not be the case after all), etc. I give Mavs 65% chance of winning game 4 (because they have homecourt, Luka usually plays better after a bad game, Mavs will probably play harder than any previous game because they are facing elimination this time, Celtics although they will play freely, they might not rise their intensity as much as the Mavs do, since for them is just the first of potential 4 close out games, etc.). Then, I give the Mavs 50% chance to win game 5 in Boston (since it is an elimination game on the road and we know how Luka plays in these games. I also expect Kyrie to play well, but I am not sure about the others and that is why I believe that the result in this case, will be more of a coin toss), 55% to win game 6 in Dallas (slight edge because of homecourt and perhaps some nerves from the Celtics that could not close the series in two previous attempts), and 60% to win game 7 in Boston (if it gets to game 7 I believe the Celtics team might let some frustration impact their game that is why in that case I give the edge to the Mavs). Thus, in total I estimate about 10% chance for the Mavs to win the championship. It is very small but on the other hand, it is not entirely hopeless if my probability estimates for each individual game are somewhat reasonable (which may very well not be reasonable at all since they are based on highly subjective evaluation of the two teams' performance). Please like this comment if you agree with the 10% chance or above and dislike if you think that it is far less. Even better, if you can, reply with your own Mavs-winning probability estimates for each one of the potential 4 remaining games!

Coming back after game 4 for some more analysis from the statistics point of view. Let's clarify that the 3-0 narrative is no longer relevant. If we still want to just rely on historical data we should look into what happened with teams being 3-1 down. Even if we just narrow the sample down to only teams that were 3-0 down and took game four, we have 15 out of these 61 teams winning game 5. But as I said above these statistics are not as relevant as the specific evaluations of the two actual teams playing currently. Here is a wild take. What if the two teams were about equal when Porzingis was playing and now without Porzingis the Mavs have 80% chance of winning any remaining game. This would mean that they would have about 51% chance of winning the championship!

This is on Jason Kidd. Pullin Exum, playing tim and not playing Hardy. You will never win a chip with Jason Kidd.

Respect for YOU. But one thing is bothering me, if this Cross in your ear is for decoration or becouse of Your Faith. Because for me is the most Saint symbol on Earth and is disrespectfull badly if Someone use Cross for "fun". Please taka IT off if it is the only for "Good looking"
