#RustyLakeHotel #GameGrumps #ep2 - Hry
As happy as it would make me if they played the other Cube Escape/Rusty Lake games, I’m just glad they enjoyed this one enough to finish it! If they ever do come back to these again, I’ll be there in a heartbeat
same!
I think you mean a fartbeat. Also, same.
Same
Same

Rusty Lake Roots is the next game in the series and it's my absolute favorite!
I would love if they played Roots. That game is so freaking beautiful.
It is as far as releases go but I hope they start the Cube Escape series next cause this is a prequel to that series starting. The Cube Escape series is AMAZING and I feel they'd be more attached to it if they build on the mystery with those before playing Roots where it shows more of the origins of everything you see throughout Rusty Lake/Cube Escape. I played Cube Escape before Hotel, Roots, and Paradise and it hit me THAT MUCH MORE.
@taylorwolfshade8843 that's very true, playing cube escape first would be good, and they would meet Dale. I think there's a list online somewhere of a good order to play them all chronologically
@@taylorwolfshade8843 Most of the Cube Escape game came out before, but near the end of the Cube Escapes it zig-zags between those and the bigger Rusty Lake games. That's the recommendes way to play by the devs (at-least it was when the Cube Escapes were separate flash games).
I've never heard of this and now I'm so intrigued, they HAVE to play more.
"Watch me make this finger disappear" had me literally crying
Aw, you don't have to cry, it was just a joke
the way he forgets the most obvious things and struggles with basic concepts but can memorize a chart in a couple seconds is crazy
adhd for ya babeyy
@@neonblkholereal
even though i aced tests without studying my grades sucked bc i'd always do my homework and then forget to bring it😭
I'm so happy that Game Grumps and other youtubers are putting in flash warnings. I'm sensitive to bright flashing lights so the warnings help me a lot.
I have a friend with epilepsy and I always double check videos before I recommend them to her for anything that could set it off. I’m glad to see warnings like these, it’s extremely helpful for anyone who is sensitive to flashing for any reason
Just out of curiosity, does turning down the brightness help, or is it the pattern alone?
@@bavarianbansheefor me, it's not just bright light it's just any flashing at all. Like if it was a plain blue square that rapidly changed from blue to red.. Something like that.
2 minutes in and we're already talking about prostate exams..... Welcome to game grumps
😂😂“I’m gonna make my finger disappear now “
Why does Arin do this to us…
Another great episode for the Goon Squad.
Goon squad
Goon Grumps
Perhaps I'm remembering wrong, but weren't they able to grab the other ingredients before they go up the elevator to the guest's room? That's how the first one was, but in Arin's haste every other time he immediately goes to the elevator at night, and then the next day only looks for the other ingredients after he's done the murder.
You actually get one ingredient before you go up and the other in the room there is a order to which animal you need to go to and based on the ingredient you get at the lobby you know which one.
Yeah he has no patience or focus for that type of stuff, that's Arin for you, much like the puzzles he just clicks until something happens.
@@vinnygothika7510
“the more you eef around
the more you find out” kinda vibe
@@myedenstory yeah, they didn't get the ingredients in time because they didn't murder in the right order. It's an interesting way for the developers to bake some replayability into the game, because so much is dependent on you clicking every single thing in every room every time you're there, so it's highly unlikely anyone would get the order right on the first try (I definitely didn't). Once you realize there's a specific order, you want to replay to get all the ingredients.
Yep
This is possibly my favorite game I've seen you guys play in a long time
bruh fr
Didn’t even have an ending
Fr!!!

32:42 "Have we stumbled upon a franchise?" ..... oh the innocence is so pure.
Oh my god there's a second episode, I'm so freaking happy
Dude, there's like 15 games in this series. They could be at this a while if they enjoy them
@@Hymneth it's not gonna bring in the views, though 😭 that's why I'm thankful we even got a second episode. I'd love for them to play the co-op game from this series, just for fun.
Great detail at 13:59 when only the pigeon is left, "the GUEST goes to the room."
Literally JUST finished the last episode you played in this series. Love the Rusty Lake Games, I'd highly recommend Cube Escape Collection that they have, or The Past Within as a fun multiplayer game. I've had So much fun playing both!
I think the cocktails they had on the first day were to be used to get various guests to put down their red and white wines, so those could be used for the dishes later.
Nah you just pick them up after they’re dead.
LikelyVampirical is right, you have to kill the guests in a certain order to be able to perfect the game, kill the birds earlier on allows you to grab their wines for the other dishes.
Who would’ve known that murder would be relaxing, thoughtful and *fun* too 😉🧡
It is always a treat to hear Dan wheeze laughing at his own humor
I LOVE when these two play games like these, it's somehow weirdly soothing to listen to them stumbling through puzzles lol
God this makes me want to see them play the white door even more!! I feel like they'd have a lot to say about it and it's a really interesting game
White door is my fave in the series.
man, the rusty lake games are so nostalgic for me, i hope they keep playing more.
As an epileptic I appreciate the warning
did u skip
@@collinreece2249 nah I ain't no bitch
@@collinreece2249 did you point?
no but i pre'd
I'm lucky enough I just get bad headaches from it still didn't want one right before work though so the warning was appreciated
i like the voices they gave mr. crow and mr. owl. i hope they play the other games so we can see their reactions to the actually voiced characters-
Man I love this game series and it would make me very happy to see them play this whole series. Rusty Lake is an awesome scary/intriguing game with it's own lore. So glad you played this.
PLEASE I beg of you, play the rest of the series, it's so cool.
I love these games, it's really interesting to hear that you guys don't even know them, I'd love to watch the guys play through them! Lots of point n click for Dan and some silly weirdness for Arin, sounds perfect! ⬛⬜
Dan and Arin finally discovering the Rusty Lake series, episode 2.
Man im so excited they played this game! The whole cube escape series is such a TRIP but man are they spectacular!
This game's puzzles are giving me MYST and Riven flashbacks.
Was just about to say that. Riven was my twin’s namesake 😅
@@thatluckypanda_ your parents named their kid after a video game? that
RULES. i wish i was named Contra.
@@miguelnewmexico8641 I personally wish my name was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project
So help me, if they ever played the Myst games, I would cream my pants.
@@andrewjenkins9965 same 😩
The excitement of seeing part 2 and urge to tell my wife is stifled only by the reminder that she'll watch it without me before I get home from work. I'll wait until then 😂
THE GAME GEUMPS ARE PLAYING ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES OF ALL TIME???? Rusty lake is such an underrated series and I’ve never seen any big CZcamsrs give it the attention it deserves. Every one of these games is a fucking masterpiece.
There are some moderately sized CZcamsrs that cover it, but it would be cool to see the markpliers and jacksepticeyes playing them
Jesse Cox and Dodger have played them! Fun playthroughs to watch. 😊
Bro, the Rusty Lake games are some of my favorite weird little games of all time! So excited to see you play more of them if you do!!
this is such a great new find. i would NOT be mad if they made this a series ;)
2:34 Dont worry Dan, I also laughed way harder than I shouldve at that joke
oh god I really hope they're going to play the rest of them as well
(and maybe mark sees it as well, this be right up his alley)
Whoa, just now realized that Mark has never played the rusty lake games.
But hasn't he played another game like this with a sinister owl host? Seems like a weird coincidence
My favorite little hyperfixation played by two unsuspecting funny guys ❤ grabbing dinner and swinging my feet
Please oh please, I hope they have some time to play more of these games in the series, I haven’t seen them before but seeing the grumps play it was so much fun!
Paradise is my favorite with Roots as a close contender. I’d love to see them cover more of the series.
This makes me want to finally complete my Rusty Lakes cosplay XD so happy to watch them play it
ooh who're you building? I'm working on a Harvey one right now!
Ooh nice i'm hopefully gonna work on a mr Crow cosplay!
So you can wear it to your adult Bar Mitzvah? Or Dan's?
Even If they don't play all of them, I feel they would really enjoy Rusty Lake: Roots!
Roots would give them a decent amount of content too. One of the longer games - especially if they do the bonus achievements at the end
Goon squad be like:
“Hey I’m Goon”
“I’m not so Goon”
“And we’re the Goon squad”
Could have said "and we're the goonies"...
this is vaguely like the xmas point n click ones which ARE MY FAVE
Love the Rusty Lake games, you should totally play more! Expecially the two player games, that would be so fun to watch
Rusty Lake Hotel is the 171st game the Grumps have beaten!
So close to 175!
This is one of my favorite game series of all time, it's a very pleasant surprise to see y'all play it
I respect the flashing lights warning and the subtitles. I'm glad this channel keeps growing in quality!!
Stone on stone sliding became Arin's rock-solid pleasurable experience when he stopped playing around with that hand that kept sticking itself where it didn't belong.
I adore the Rusty Lake Roots and Paradise games, stoked our Grumps covered this one! I hadn’t thought about these in a while and will def dig into Rusty Lakes other games. I really hope we get to see more of these on the channel!
When Dan said "Shpinchter" my hot pocket made a loud fart as I bit into it
i love how they're just full of beans in this episode 😂 gets me thru this morning
This was a great video! I loved your gameplay and commentary, and I can't wait to see which Rusty Lake games you'll play next!
I love the cube escape games so much, I really hope they complete everything bc they are so fun and I love the story, even if they don't, it really brought me back and it was very nostalgic for me, loved watching it ❤
Yayyy I'm so glad they played a Rusty Lake game. I think Paradox was my absolute favorite. It was the first one I played and I fell in love with the series, I played them all in order after that. The puzzles are brilliant and satisfying without being too easy or difficult
i love the rusty lake games so much! not sure if they would get as much entertainment out of the cube escape collection, but roots and paradise would be grumptastic ^_^
I’ve never played this game, but I KNEW that the framed lines with ‘x’ s on it had to do with the radio and I’m over here SCREAMING AT MY PHONE FOR THEM TO GET THE IDEA TOO 😂😂😂
I actually bought it after the first episode, it's so good i'll love to have the whole series when I can!
The lore is deeper than they thought, I enjoy the Asmar of Arin sipping his drink. I hope they play more of the rusty lake game.
The Grumps discovering the rusty lake series is definitely a highlight of my year
Rusty lake games are a crazy, interwoven series that spans across computer and mobile platforms. I highly recommend it; seeing these two put together the lore would be tons of fun!
You guys have helped me through a lot of pretty dark times after I died of cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated several times so thank you so much for just making me laugh it's gotten a lot harder to these days but you guys help a lot
That sounds harrowing! Glad you're still among the living, because among other things we get to watch the Grumps. :)
@@Ryuchitoran precisely
I almost didn't read the resuscitated part and got a little scared ngl
Thank you for the warning about the flashing lights! Very much appreciated ❤️
Ahh hope they play more! These were fun to watch
rusty lake paradise is really good, you should play it next.
also all of cube escape is connected to rusty lake, it's all part of the same mystery and narrative.
really hoping to see more of this from you guys, these games are brilliantly atmospheric and quite underated.
Oh it was such a treat to see these played! I've actually never seen the others! I would be there so fast if you guys decided to play more in the series!!!
Is this the episode when Arin sips on his drink for a looooong time?
It would bring me so much joy if y’all played the rest of the rusty lake series
i would LOVE to see you guys play more in this series !! i've never played these games before, but this pair of videos has become an instant favorite for me.
"Have we stumbled upon a franchise?" Oh boy you have.
And one of those games is even co-op!
I am so happy that game grumps is playing rusty lake. its a series that deserves this kind of recognition. plus i am overjoyed to see how many fans are in the comments. and how many new fans there are!! i also love how close the boys were to getting the secret ingredients so often XD
PLEASE keep playing these !!! ive never heard of them but I'm so intrigued!!
I was so happy to see a time stamp for flashing lights in the beginning. That you for thinking of us ❤
The rusty lake series truly is a gem and I’m so happy they played one if them.
I love Rusty Lake games and this is my favorite one! I literally screamed when I saw they were playing it! Please play the others. I don’t know about the cube series cause they’re kind of short, but please play Rusty Lake Paradise, Rusty Lake Roots, The White Door, and Samsara Room!
I'm so happy! Rusty Lake is one of my favourite game franchises!! I hope they play more. Especially Roots or Paradise!
SO EXCITED YOU GUYS AND GAME THEORY ARE DISCOVERING THESE GAMES AROUND THE SAME TIME!! absolutely my all time favorite franchise ever i always felt like the other games were more entertaining than this one so i hope you push onwards and try the other ones!!!!!
Boy I sure hope nobody cycles the radio according to the sign on the wall
I can't fault arin for how he plays this game because i also play Rusty Lake games by clicking absolutely everything all of the time until something works.
Also i think it's important for the Grumps to know that you, the Player Character Harvey, is a parrot
This is fun timing! I enjoyed the cube escapes a while back, very recently found out there were a bunch more rusty lake games, and now the Grumps have played one! This one especially was a joy to watch :)
i would love to see them complete the games in canon order! theres so many fun little puzzles, and Arin and Dan do a great job figuring them out together :)
22:41
OH NOOOOW YOU ARE QUESTIONING, DAN?! XD
thank you SO MUCH for putting the game name and episode number back in the video titles!! :D
Hell yeah I'd love to see you guys do more of these, kickass series
I do hope you guys would play some of the other rusty lake games because they're super fun and I feel like it would be hilarious to see the classic grumps reactions so some of the crazy shit that happens, but I'm glad you guys had fun with this one. It was a joy to watch 💜
Oh man, the Rusty Lake games would actually be fantastic for this channel! I'm surprised these guys did so well on the puzzles, I can never do them when I tried any of their old games.
This is an ongoing series and each animal in this game represents a character in the continuing narrative
I recommend the whole series to absolutely everyone
It's fantastic
I hope the grumps play more of these types of puzzle games. It’s fun to watch and see how people think to arrive with the solutions.
14:57 It warms my heart to here these guys bring up “The Wise Little Hen” with the first appearance of Donald Duck and Peter Pig. Well remembered Gents!
part 2 made me so happy to see uploaded today!! please play the series!
Guys, you HAVE to play the other two Rusty Lake games too (if you want to, that is)
I know you'd love them, they seem right up your alley. The Cube Escape games as well. Each cube could be an episode, so it'd be a pretty good format honestly lol. Even if you won't play them, know that this was fuckin awesome. Rusty lake is one of my favourite videogame franchises of all time and seeing you play through one of the games made me do the most manliest highpitched squeaks. The games are so much deeper and surreal than you'd think.
Thank you for this experience
It’s so amazing to finally see a mainstream gamer play this game!!! The series is wonderful and one of my all time favourites haha. Would recommend anyone to play the series, some games are also free!!!
i would highly recommend the Rusty Lake series, it’s such a fun and interesting concept
Much like others are saying, I would absolutely love seeing you guys go through this entire series. :) it's ultimately simple, kinda trippy, but has a very interesting deep (and confusing lol) story!
If anyone else is interested in this series:

I've already played through about half of this list, but that was so long ago that I should probably play it all over again.
I still remember some pieces of the lore, though.
The ending with the trapped spirits is reminiscent of "Thirteen Ghosts"
I would watch more of this series in a heartbeat !!
I really hope that they continue with the Rusty Lake games! They are my absolute favorite game developers. I just hope they start playing them in order, there's so much plot they need to get.
Cube Escape/Rusty Lake is a very deep well of mystery and what the hellery. I've played all of them multiple times and I can only glimpse a bit of what is going on. I highly recommend, but I advise you actually playing the games in order.
I'm not aware of this whole series, but these were an awesome two episodes for me. I HOPE they play more
29:18 the 'KALAMAZOO' mini-story had me dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Man, this was a crazy game!
I wonder if we're gonna get more.
As a seizure, I appreciate the flashing lights
As a flashing light, Im flattered and I appreciate the seizures
I would actually like to see this as a full let’s play series.
I ADORE the Rusty Lake games and I would really love to see you guys play more of them! They're really weird but they have a surprising amount of humor (a la boar shit) tucked away in them
