I'm 80 and I remember when I turned 70 telling myself, "I can do whatever I want to do ". I was free . Nobody telling me what I should/ could/ must do. I got in my car with my little dog and the two of us took a 4000 mile road-trip. At 80, I am having fun with makeup, volunteering at a life center for very damaged people and taking watercolor classes and realize I am actually good at it. Best time of my life.

Because of my age I have faced Cancer and won. Now I am probably going to help my husband face cancer as well. I only hope I can be as much of a support to him as he was to to me.

Because of my age(50) I am ecstatic about being a Grandma! I was given so much crap for 26 years about having my son at 22 and not being married. I didn’t care throughout this time what people said, because I knew my son was a precious gift and was supposed to be here when he was born. Fast forward, now he’s 27 and has made me a Grandma!!!! I couldn’t be happier! I’m happy, I’m strong and I’m a GRANDMA!!!❤💗🥰❤️💗🥰

Because of my age (70),I am no longer afraid to be alone. I enjoy my own company & don’t need anyone else to bring joy to my life. If I allow you into my world it’s because I WANT you there….I don’t NEED you there!
Because of my age (71) I refer to all the physical challenges as the entertainment of the 70’s. Pelvic floor disfunction, surgeries, hernias, colitis, vision, reflux, lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance…… No, I am not a hot mess! I look and feel 20 years younger, most of the time. But when shit happens, well, that’s entertainment. Not tragic. You have to maintain a sense of humor❤️
In spite of my age-a month shy of 85-I still love make-up, fashion, contemporary issues, staying active and not stressing too much. I do my make-up every morning even if I am staying at home. I do it for me-I feel better if I am well dressed and ready for anything. I feel grateful for such a fulfilling life.

Because of my age I've learned colors go together that I never imagined before. Anyone who thinks gold, ice blue, copper, pink etc., don't go together has never driven through the desert at sunset. Your eyeshadow combination is beautiful!

Because of my age I have survived abuse as a child, raising 2 children with a narcissist, multiple financial crises....but don't feel sorry for me. I remade my life at 59 and now enjoy my work, my kids and am more financially stable than I have ever been. I love the women you introduced us to today and plan on following them also. You have been a god send that started with helping me deal with the aging we all go through, but have become an inspiration. Thank you for sharing so bravely all the issues we all face.

Because of my age, I no longer worry what others think. I realize that life is short, and I have a finite time in which to do the things that light me up and give me purpose. Because of my age, I value things I took for granted when I was younger (health, knowledge, faith) and treasure them now. I am more "me" than I ever have been and I'm grateful for my maturity.

Because of my age (73), I now treasure every moment that is left in my journey. I value happiness, family and love above all, everything else is just background noise. I never have a problem saying "no" if it will interfere with my key values.

I turned 73 today! I am now free from years of addiction, one day at a time. Because of my age I am better able to be and accept who I really am; the good and not so good .... the whole package. Because of my age I am now happy with who I am!

Because of my age, I no longer live by “what will the neighbors (others) think?” I have overcome poor self image, false bravado and have embraced the woman I’ve become by loving myself unconditionally and thanking God daily. It took me 71 years of going the wrong way to find the perfect right way. Nikol, you are a beautiful spirited woman. Thank you for sharing yourself.
Nikol, I am 71 and have been retired for almost 14 years. During that time I had cervical cancer, which is totally gone, I had a Subarachnoid Brain Aneurysm, after which I had no long term serious side affects. I decided God must be trying to tell me something, so I decided to let my hair grow out, and I’m very lucky to have very pretty gray/white hair. Now after 1 1/2 years I’ve decided to start wearing a bit of makeup again. Other than a couple age spots, which I’m working on, I’ve always had pretty good skin. So, I love your videos geared towards “more mature” ladies. It’s a process, and even though I’m pretty much a homebody, it’s still something that I want to do for myself. Thank you for your help🙂

Because of my age (77) I feel more beautiful than ever. But I have had a loving husband by my side for 52 years - if that is not encouraging - I don't know what is! We have raised 5 wonderful children, all married, who have gifted us with 34 gorgeous grandchildren and as of now 20 greatgrandchildren. We have moved to different countries three times, we have gone through difficult treatments with one grandson and we have lost one precious grandson. But the joy of seeing such absolutely wonderful generations developing with our help and to our deep satisfaction is the greatest youth fountain. I am so thankful to the lord for this wonderful gift!
Because of my age (64) I feel free-er than I ever have in my life! I live alone with 4 dogs and 5 horses and it is blissful and serene not having to explain myself to anyone!

I was widowed for the 2nd time (not the same guy haha) in fall 2017. Because of my age I am too strong to ever want another man. Will be 64 in May.
Some years ago a friend labeled me "the fixer" and my energy level use to be like the Energizer Bunny. Not anymore. So, Because of my age... I now take care of myself FIRST, and I have learned how to say NO. When I stick to this it allows me to help others better as well as myself. ❤ your channel.
I will be 80 this year and have 2 phrases that I have lived by for a long time. Admittedly, one is not my own but from a movie I saw long ago - a grandmother was advising a grandson with a lot of self inflicted problems and having a difficult time - she said “life is like a roller coaster, there are ups and downs but you have to enjoy them all.”

Say I am the happiest person they know. Each morning my 2nd phrase is “This is a day the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it.
Ps - I turned gray at 29 and colored for a while but once I let it go absolutely white I receive so many compliments and with the color advent of 2022-23 I was really in style.

During menopause I got a graduate degree, taught at both a community college and university. At about 62 I got a real estate license and love helping people!
Because of my age (70) I am surviving cancer. The reality is that I may not live as long as I want to but, I’m enjoying my Family and making the most of each day thankful to God. I I’ve your channel!! I so much enjoy your message about aging right on!! ❤
Because of my age (69) accepting (of the death of three of my children - most recent my 49 year old daughter from cancer), retiring from a rewarding career (effective 2/23/2024), at peace (with all aspects of myself - body, mind, image, heart and soul), and free to live the best most productive years of my life lovingly.

I am 73 and feel confident and good. Keeping activ, doing libradanse, dance 5 rhythms, excercice, eat healthy! Dont panic, dont listen to critics from other people! The state of mind is very important. Dont think old! Always wear good sitting ,good quality colourful underwear ladies, has an amazing effect on you confidence! Love from South of France

After I went complety grey, I thought well I am old now, till I watched you and now try to imitate you, people now say to me white hair suits you, I have started using jewellery and dressing well, all because of you. Because of my age 66, I have come to realize that my shine comes from within. My walk in life is unique to me, I do not compare or allow opinions to rattle my core. I have been blessed with 3 daughters and now two grandaughters, so wonderful and rewarding. I no longer burden myself with answers to aging. I love being my age, the lines, the silver in my hair, i know exactly how and when they came about and that makes me smile. I attribute my smile as a result of my spiritual growth, and that makes me beautiful!

Because of my age (69) I no longer apologize for my choices. I bought a purple rug for my living room because it loved it! It’s bold and perfect!Losing my precious daughter in 2020 I know I can survive anything. I sold my home and moved 600 miles away from everything familiar. I’m a survivor of crippling grief. Because of my age I feel confident, beautiful and my true self 👩🏻🦳😀 even though I have chronic pain I try to do things I enjoy every day, my skincare, makeup, art (mandala artist), cooking 🧑🍳 I’m 69 , my husband is 12 years younger than me and keeps me active and my biggest supporter when I transitioned to my silver hair 🥰
Because of my age, 74, I am free to do the things I love when I want to do them. I no longer worry about what others think, and I can support my sisters with the knowledge and wisdom gained in my 74 years.
Because of my age (almost 62!), I am grateful to realize how blessed I am, more compassionate to others, and am able to give excellent advice WHEN ASKED because of all the things I have survived and resolved in my lifetime!
Because of my age I now take the time to listen not just hear what's being said. I have a feeling I have not heard up until this age of 65! People are endlessly fascinating and I feel endlessly powerful in my new found wisdom ❤❤❤❤

Because of my age I have wisdom, the kind of wisdom you acquire through life's mistakes and wins. Because of my age I don't need approval from everyone. Because of my age when I meet someone I no longer worry if they will like me but I ask myself if I will like them. Because of my age I know that I'm the kind of friend to others that I would want for myself. I can't honestly say I enjoy aging, what it's done to my face, to my body, but I enjoy what it's done to my attitude, to my knowledge, and to my heart.

Because of my age (71) and a stage IV ovarian cancer diagnosis I have come to realize that I am strong and resilient.
No matter what life throws at me I say to myself “This too shall pass”.
I am grateful for my siblings and friends. No husband or kids but I am the happiest I have ever been in my entire life.

Because of my age (62 next week), I feel confident, fiercely independent and proud of how I longer let others treat me badly. I have distanced myself from toxic friends and especially family that had caused me so much truama my whole life. Like you I am Greek and stubborn to the core when I need to be but also loving and kind. You are beautiful inside and out and I see the hurt in your eyes when people leave very mean, judgemental comments. Ignore them, block them and do not respond because all they want is a reaction. ❤

Because of my age, I’ve survived a heart attack and stroke,infidelity,husbands cancer,raising twins loss of both parents all in the last 12 years while experiencing menopause. I lost most friends as I decided to stay with my spouse. How, how, did I manage. My faith! Faith in myself, my God,and lived thru the good,the bad and ugly. I read Battle field of the mind by Joyce Meyer. I started loving the new me,that rose up out of the ashes of life. I have a wealth of experiences that buffed me into the spirit I am today. ❤❤

Because of my age-almost 70, I know my life is a gift. I realize how incredible my life experiences have been, both the great and the horrific. And I’m not afraid of what the future holds for me.
Because of my age (70), I’m experimenting with bolder lip colors-orange/red stains and balms (which look beautiful) and doing a very soft smoky eye. It’s now or never. ❤
I am also waiting for my navy blue eyeliner and will incorporate the look that you demonstrated a few days ago.

My husband had a stroke a couple of months ago and I turned to my sister, who is 'crazy' about health and foods and all that. I took almost all meat and processed foods out of our diets and one of the first thing I noticed was how good my skin looked. Not saying it's the thing for everyone, but I found quite a difference.
I'm 71 and currently recovering from my second total hip replacement. You have become my special friend during this passage, as I've been watching your CZcams videos daily. I’m glad so many women here are feeling good in their elder years. Im 57; cancer at 50 ruined my life though grateful I survived. Every aspect of my life is bad and I’d give anything to be in my 30’s. Wisdom is no good to me when my life is so horrible. Getting older means loss. Loss of health, loved ones, dreams and purpose. If you are healthy, beautiful and wealthy, like Nikol, it’s a whole different world.
I am so sorry you are in such a hopeless, depressed state of mind. Medication and activity does a lot to alleviate that. Find something to be grateful for every day. There must be something. I found relief from all those feelings by letting God heal my heart mind and spirit. Knowing he is with me every moment is what gives me comfort and courage and joy. I said a prayer for you to find healing and peace.
Why are you grateful to have survived if you are so miserable? I find your post confusing. Are you trying to disguise an attack on Nikol with a pity party? All people face loss, at all ages. It does not discriminate against the poor, unhealthy or even unattractive. Neither does cancer or most other ailment, for that matter. How you deal with it is where you find wisdom and beauty. Wealth is relative. Someone homeless may think that you are rich! Most people have dreams that may not have come to fruition. Should I say, because I was diagnosed at 10 with rheumatic arthritis, my life was ruined? My dreams were lost because I couldn't physically do everything I wanted to do? Because I couldn't have the career I always wanted? Pick yourself up, and find happiness in what you have, not what you don't have. Nikol's purpose is to bring people up. To give aging women hope and wisdom and light. If you don't find that here, I think you should keep your negativity to yourself and move on from her videos.
Because of my age I realize time is fleeting. So I consciously don’t permit myself to get or stay upset about anything too long. Nothing is worth it. I reach out more make new friends and keep using my brain and skills. I am more intentional and am sure to do as many kind acts towards others as is reasonable. I have always been a giver but now more calculated in my approach to the world. I say my own homemade prayers and breath and think positive!

I'm 55 and post menopause. Life has gotten so good again. I lost myself for so many years during peri and menopause. I did'nt know who i was anymore. I felt irrelevant and without purpose. But, I'm back and better than ever! Those of you going through that journey, take heart, it really does get better.x

Because of my age (68 with mental age of 16!), I have neglected myself somewhat. However, since finding Nikol & a few other 'influencers' online, I've decided to buck up my ideas and am starting with diet, then going back to exercise ... Nordic Walking to start with. Need a holistic approach. I love to see that there might be a way back to confidence and a healthier and more chic future. I'm in the middle of 'doing up' an old cottage, so going to be a very busy year!
Usually I am more energetic but today I am sluggish. I am even excersising.. maybe the weather is cloudy and funky!!! I am also praying!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

I think there is great quality in your makeup and certainly worth every penny. I feel more confident in how to apply my make up and what to use when and where after learning from you. Because of my age, I threw a spontanious birthday party for myself the other day. I turned 57 on Valentine's Day. Normally I am low key about my birthday, but make a fuss about every one else's. This year I wanted to have some of the people I love most around me for a very casual celebration (pizza from a local place, salad, and wine) I even used paper plates! It was on Wednesday night and just wanted it to be easy. It turned out to be one of the best birthdays ever! Everyone I invited was able to make the short notice. Lots of laughter, family, friends and food. So fun! I feel very loved and valued. I think I needed that validation.
BTW, I am a long time follower, supporter, believer and I love all the poducts I have purchaced from your line. I have learned so much from you on makeup and life. I have to say this particular makeup look you did is one of my favorites, the blueish grey shadow with the brown really look fantastic and open your eyes up a lot and those gold earings really are complementary to the whole look.
