Magic was my guy, I was in 8th grade home room when whe announced his HIV retirement. I was rocking my Magic Johnson jacket and Lakers equipment bag to carry my books for school. Kids back then had every aids joke about him but he was still my player. Got to see him at the all star game in Orlando and go back to school and rub it in that he was MVP. Magic was the O.G. M.J...Even Micheal said he was his driving force to succeed.
Yo. Thanks for checking that out. Now you see why Magic is my favorite player. Championship as a rookie playing center went to 9 finals won 5. Jordan is the GOAT but Magic was my favorite. Great reaction.

Bird was a better shooter and Magic was better in the transition game. Neither were better than the other.
Many say that Bird was more skilled (shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, hustle, etc...), but Magic can play multiple positions on the offensive end.
