I'd recommend "The King Welcomes You to Avatar Country," it has a really fun video and shows even more variety in their sound. Also "Hail the Apocalypse" is great, like a lot of people already mentioned.

The whole album Feathers and Flesh is the story about the Owl and the Eagle and other woodland animals along the way. It's a great concept album and there's a book for it that they made too. Holy shit yes! My suggestion finally got picked! :D I loved Avatar the moment I first saw them. They were apart of a metal festival in my area a couple years ago. I had heard OF them but never heard their music, but became an INSTANT fan as soon as I did hear it!
So to add just a bit of info on the topic the song is about, the entire album this song came from (Feathers and Flesh) was a concept album Avatar made about a folktale of the owl, eagle, and various other characters in the various songs. If I remember correctly, the folktale was even created by them and then they recreated it in album form since they feel they are better at telling stories with song (I agree). The entire album is a story that is honestly one of the best journeys I've been on musically and I love this band to death. Please Please more of these guys, you can't even go wrong with whatever you pick. If you're looking for more specific song suggestions however, I recommend Tower, Black Waltz, Smells like a Freakshow, The King Welcomes You to Avatar Country, Statue of the King, and New Land. So basically Alex, Johannes from avatar (who played on stage with Jared dines for Trivium when Matt had his baby) is giving people what they want, the woman couldn't get the apple so he gave her long arms to reach the apple but now she has long ass arms, the man was weak so he wanted strength, so the potion Johannes gave him made him strong but diseased, the one guy couldn't give her his heart so he drank the potion and literally gave her his heart. Sort of like a Lucifer effect

I’d love to see you react to more of Avatar, other people have recommended good song by them, but I’d definitely recommend “Statue of the King” or “Avatar country”. A few of their videos kinda tie together to make a story. So I assume if you watch one, you’ll want to watch them all.
Finally!!! I discovered your channel when you reacted to Bloody Angel and I've wanted you to react to more by them since. Avatar is definately one if my favorites. We saw them live on Thursday last week in Wichita, Kansas (which was a 3-4 hour drive from where we live) and it was such an awesome show! They are very fun live, with so much energy. I had so much fun that night, and I screamed so much lol, my voice was messed up after. My little sister (11) also likes Avatar and went with us and she had a great time too. It's actually shot in one go in a circulair chamber indeed, there is actually a making off video somewhere on youtube. Look it up it's very amusing to watch! Also if you get a chance, go to an Avatar concert, they put up quite the show! It feels more like a theater than a concert at times even, hahaha!
The Eagle has landed is from Feathers&Flesh album which is a concept album and tells the tale of this owl you mentioned. They even wrote an actual book with this tale that adds a lot more meaning to the songs. They're truly a unique band, in that sense too that they do a lot more than music, and their other activities (hey, they've recently did a movie that'll come out soon!) expand this world they created. They're artists on every level.
Alex, that's the synopsis of the entire album, not just this song! They wanted to make a concept album of a swedish fable, but they couldn't find a fable that worked with them how they wanted it to, so they created and publish their own fable (legit!) and then made this concept album based of their own created fable. Fucking amazing.

Finally!!! I discovered your channel when you reacted to Bloody Angel and I've wanted you to react to more by them since. Avatar is definately one if my favorites. We saw them live on Thursday last week in Wichita, Kansas (which was a 3-4 hour drive from where we live) and it was such an awesome show! They are very fun live, with so much energy. I had so much fun that night, and I screamed so much lol, my voice was messed up after. My little sister (11) also likes Avatar and went with us and she had a great time too. And my dad (who took us) is definately a new fan after that show too.
Please react to some more by them! They are so awesome and unique. I recommend Hail The Apocalypse, Let it Burn, Legend of The King, and Black Waltz.

Ok, I just made a simple Hey Alex more Halestorm, please! comment. And then I scrolled ALL of the comments, real quickly, just looking for my generic pink icon, and I'm only seeing it at the top of my tablet. I HAVE seen it twice at least a few times, once at the top of my tablet, and then somewhere down in the comments (probably where it was actually placed in the stack) Can you do the same kind of quick look through the comments, like I just did? There are only 2 or 3 people who are using the same pink icon as me, so it shouldn't take more than just a minute. Let me know if you find it.

Well, that might be just s false alarm. I didn't find my comment twice, but someone gave it a like, (and it wasn't me)7 so it's obviously showing up on other peoples devices. It"s just that I KNOW my comment isn't at the top of the list (as it is on my tablet) and I HAVE (and remember it happening a lot more than once) seen it twice. So maybe I'm just confused, and I shouldn't take this so seriously. Thanks anyway for your help, and for actually replying back to me. Avatar is just absolutely amazing. They are such great entertainers, not just hella awesome musicians. If you have the chance to see them live, you absolutely should.

It's actually shot in one go in a circulair chamber indeed, there is actually a making off video somewhere on youtube. Look it up it's very amusing to watch! Also if you get a chance, go to an Avatar concert, they put up quite the show! It feels more like a theater than a concert at times even, hahaha!

The Eagle has landed is from Feathers&Flesh album which is a concept album and tells the tale of this owl you mentioned. They even wrote an actual book with this tale that adds a lot more meaning to the songs. They're truly a unique band, in that sense too that they do a lot more than music, and their other activities (hey, they've recently did a movie that'll come out soon!) expand this world they created. They're artists on every level.

Alex, that's the synopsis of the entire album, not just this song! They wanted to make a concept album of a swedish fable, but they couldn't find a fable that worked with them how they wanted it to, so they created and publish their own fable (legit!) and then made this concept album based of their own created fable. Fucking amazing.
