I honestly agreed with this video. For me, FACE is the perfect representation of Jimin's story, how he struggles against his own self, how he faced it and accepted his own identity. I am really hoping and praying that soon, we get to see that freedom. Or maybe, possibly he already got that freedom on his own when he learned and let himself be accepted by his own. These, days, we can clearly see that the FEMININE side of Jimin is becoming more dominant, his aura clearly radiates it.
I am fully convinced that LETTER is a mixed of message for us ARMYA and JK. I am not korean, i can't understand the lyrics without looking for translations. But the moment that I heard the bridge part with JK's voice being stronger as background, it really made me cry. I got that kind of warm feeling, my heart felt so much care and love. The connection, harmonization and parts they are singing together is enough for them to relay the real message of the song and who is the "REAL" OWNER OF IT.
the fact that JK gave us a spoiler, playing his guitar then finding out that this song is in Jimin's album. For me JK wanted to tell us from the start that this song is mine. It is made for me. It belongs to me. And yes, I do believe that LETTER is a song created by JIMIN to be owned by JK.

I agree with much of what you said but if I can perhaps throw in my two cents. I think much of the album is JM speaking to ARMY, and all the different flavors of ARMY there are. Like Crazy is definitely more about the emotions created during a break up or LDR instead of the actual end of a relationship like you pointed out. Much of Face was started during the pandemic when we didn't know what was to come and so were separated from those we love, like JM was separated from ARMY. Even Lives where he got to interact with ARMY, when he turns them off he's "alone again." The slight indication of a one night stand more a reaction to the unfulfillment experienced when they could only do online concerts, like the difference between a long term relationship where you can experience a true depth of emotion and experience, is washed out and meaningless when that connection is not there. Like the performer who expresses his passion and emotions and has it reflected back to him by the crowd creating a mutually encompassing loop of passion and emotion and energy between them. This mutual experience is lost when its only through a screen. We have this as well just think of the difference of experience when seeing them live vs online concerts
Set Me Free I think was also for the ARMY but was less about missing them and worry that they will lose each other in the distance between them. I think it was a bit more about the frustrations that all artists will have with their fans. JM loves us as all of BTS loves us, i don't want to say anything that would imply unhappiness, but i do think sometime they get disappointed in us. i remember RM's live where he said that ARMY had changed, V's live where he asked us to find new questions, and seeing ARMY's break the purple ribbon at airports. Truthfully i experiences disappointment myself when seeing and hearing these.
And I think we cause them frustration as well. We gave them wings to fly, then put them in a cage. We put limitations on their creative expression, mostly unknowingly, but I fear they feel like they have to filter what they feel and want to appease us. However they are artists so this would be very irritating and I think they are taking this time to grow and break free from the box we unwittingly placed them in. JM choreography shows that. Starting in a multi-hand writhing sea, to a box with him at the center, ARMY (the dancers) surrounding him and copying his moves. The timeless spiral of transformation leading to the butterfly, him running forward being followed by ARMY who catch him and bring him back to the center. ARMY holding on to him raising him up on a pedestal but also trying to consume him until he breaks free from the bonds they placed on him renewed and changed.
I think they are all experiencing this urge to break free from their bonds and are showing in their own way. Hobi went back to his roots of street dancing. Yoongi is laying to rest Agust D. JM is finding his voice. V is trying to find his true passion, and JK is wandering into the unknown world .
JK has always been the more openly rebellious of the members, not really surprising as the youngest sibling, they are always the most rebellious mostly because they feel the box heavier, and for JK that box is not only from ARMY; who persist is trying to see him as a child; but also from his hyungs. With his album being fully in english he is walking into a market the others have only flirted with, but he is fighting against the expectations that are being placed on him, much like he did when he showed up suddenly with tattoos. Now we only need to look at his past lives, TikTok's, collabs, lyrics etc... to see that he is done with the rules and expectations that have been placed on him. He is telling us to accept him as he is or walk away he doesn't care anymore. I also agree that Letter was for a very particular "ARMY"
By no means do I want to imply they want to leave ARMY behind I don’t think they do but they do want to leave the limits that are on them behind. Personally I cant wait to see where this new period of growth and freedom may take them individually and as a group. JiKook 4EVR💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

15:18 I didn't watch this movie, but I totally agree with your POV, it's definitely the song about how easy to stay in "safe bubble" instead of facing with the reality, that *scare* .
I suppose that LC is the main song, because it's kinda of bridge in the album between the part when he preferred to drown in alcohol and distanced himself from reality, to the part when he a) realised b) accepted whatever his fear was, and as a quintessence we have SMFp2 as a start of reviving, the start of "new me".
And regard the Letter (still, I Prefer "Dear. ARMY" name))) it's logically at the end of the album as a sweet reference to the one, who was near JM during his toughest period of life and continues to *standing next to him* now. (Sorry, ARMY, the song is definitely not about us😅).

The first time I heard "Letter" , I cried , it is the most beautiful song that ever heard.
Later in festa, there was some videos for us JM's Letter and other member's cover , " Army" liked more the cover ( for views and likes at least ) ...and then I knew that this song isnt for all armys. This song is full of pure emotions , honest , beautiful lyrics and music , all álbum Face is perfect , but Letter is a privilege for us to enjoy it.
35:57 yep! Jimin is more than able to do all the adlibs himself (e.g. he sang most parts of garmonizations in Take two), still we have JK in special part of hidden track of personal album. Only that one fact is enough to understand the special bond bw Jikook.

Hi Breaky!! Love your analysis vids! I am always happy to read your point of view. Letter makes me cry. It is pure raw emotion. Full of love. I believe this song is first and foremost for then for army/fans. JM is genius in his writing shills, that's my opinion. For me, just have to listen to everything that's underneath, hidden with words and listen to him sing. I'm rooting for
those two young men. They have a very difficult journey ahead.

Because both jimin and jk are living under the limelight, they speak in codes in order to express their feelings in a discreet way. I believe the word "ARMY" is code name for each other. Look at the placement of jk's tattoo and the plus ➕️ sign with the J ➕️ M.... they intercross. And when they yell out "love u army!" You can see them look at each other and smile. It's obvious they were close to each other. Even their family is close to one another. But recently I noticed a change in their body language in the recent live with jimin.....usually jk appears to be more bubbly and smiley yet when jimin touched his chest jk kinda took a small step back.... the vibe was different. In Suga's recent interview with Taemin and Jimin as an extra guest, the topic of JK was brought about and you can see the change in jimin's expressions....from bubbly to quiet....i thought this was odd since jimin loves to talk about how great jk is but instead he stayed quiet. I don't know if it's just me....but I think jikook era may have ended😔
Also, in reference to the movie Like Crazy which depicts a break up due to long distance relationships.... this could be valid in Jm and Jk's case because since they are very famous....the cameras are everywhere and the crazy fans. People are going to ridicule them for being together..... so that fear can cause this rift or distance in between them..... so even if they are in close proximity they can not be close together due to this fear.

When I first joined this fandom I was not knowing where to watch the BTS content ( RUN BTS , vlive , wlive etc ) . I used to just type BTS in CZcams and watch all the videos that would apper . I started getting lots and lots of taekook videos , I thought they were trying to show there friendship/ brotherhood😅 , but as then I got to know that they are shipping them . I was like really ?!!! Then I thought of watching there analysis videos, after watching those I was like “ does someone believes this ?!” , there reasons for shipping them is that they don't have lots of taekook moments and they blame bh by telling that they cut lots of taekook moments and support jikook . This reason itself made me believe that all the ships are just delalu 😁 but the most hurting part was them spreading hate towards jimin 🥲 so I stopped watching shipping videos. As time passed I got to know lot about BTS and after watching them I got to know that jimin and jungkook are really very close but there some questionable made me to ship them 🤣 🥰 . And I watched jikook analysis video ,and after watching I am 99% sure they are real , but still that 1% will be completed when they officially announce there relationship.

Letter is the most beautiful song. It makes me cry every time I listen to it. I got Face on vinyl last week and the anticipation of waiting for the song was amazing. A true gem of a hidden track and it sounds wonderful on record. But why is it hidden? I think if it was just a fan song, like Closer than this, it wouldn’t have been hidden, yes it’s fun to have a hidden track and BTS have done it before, for a song that didn’t fit the vibe of the rest of the album. I think it rounds the album out this time. I know Jimin said it’s a song for Army but imo it isn’t. It’s too beautiful and has too much meaning behind it, seeing that he wrote it and composed it. I know Army the fandom means a lot to all of them but this song is just too personal to me. I don’t think any amount of Jimin saying it’s for the fans would convince me of it. It’s for JK. You can see it in his little face when JK comes into the studio to help, he even says when he mentions JK recording a message- let’s say it’s your song. and why ask JK and not one of the others? I could go on. And The track listing in the booklet is white, you can barely see it. Their vocals are insane together. It’s truly beautiful. Knowing what they are facing together now makes it mean so much more. God bless them ❤

Unfortunately they are acting now like they are not Taekook supporters, but Jikook haters.
One of their large channel released two videos (about two weeks ago), where the author were mocking Jikook fanats and, what's more, slandering Jimin (showed him as a main BTS hater). We reported her of course. But then your video came up and it was like a bomb. Because you showed everything with thoughtful analysis of facts (something that Taekookers lacked off) and what's more you never said any negative stuff towards Tae. So I really will be looking for you reopened this video, because it's a great example of how to discuss things without mocking and slandering members. 💜
