The game was fun at first, got lots of energy. Now it's a chore because you can only chop 4 things and your out again. Makes it NOT FUN,
Love the game would enjoy more energy and longer time for special events. Also a little time in between events
1LJKLS if you skip an event island, the next event will be easier to complete. And you can still use the event for a few resources and gifts without getting on the leaderboard.
BS4KYK you can let items remain on islands by filling storage first then letting the items collect and remain on the floor you will struggle to get certain items on higher levels stone clay food resources ie eggs crops meat hides shells salt etc in early levels its easy to throw away too easily for experience points and then get stuck in a rutt not being able to mentain stock. Home island is your safest bet to let your resources build up smash huge rocks and let the smallest remnants of that smash remain for times when you return to home island for when you need to re energise. That way energy bonus items should you be waiting on if not high enough to mentain constant play doesn't mean you have to logg off just busy your effort on completing merchant or order list but keep an eye on what items are your rewarded as more often than not when playing between daily life time escapes or you can miss the timed period to achieve the reward and its so detrimental to leveling up or completing the basic upgrades you get disheartened and that's when with other games I lose interest and get annoyed all that effort and you miss out or a timed bonus doesn't load issue keep it fun know your limits and stick to them once you've mastered that game play you will be constantly able to play either aggressively or just to past time and enjoy both types of game play to their fullest lower the frustration and enjoy the achievements to their fullest.
1LJKLS before closing one of your islands, make sure you collect the items and resources on it that you need, especially if it gives things like resin, coal, or boards.
TIPS
1) Remember your ABC's... Always Be Crafting
2) Stock up on basics (grass, rock, clay, wood)
3) Shells are important. Keep them. Don't sell/trade them.
4) Salt is scarce. Keep that in mind when crafting food.
5) Green juice is also rare. Keep it, and don't sell/trade it.
6) Emeralds and amber are also rare. You'll need these.
7) Fill your order board daily, if you can. Extra energy and exp points.
8) The newer daily tasks, do them first thing. Not only extra rewards, but reveals other tasks adventures can knock off.
9) Expand storage asap and keep expanding it. You'll need the space.
10) Enjoy yourself.
I love the magnifying to search for the items I need.
That really helps to find anything fast
I have many things to add... here goes.
Once your table is full, you can cook/produce only as many items as you have slots for in the cooker. The family table holds 3 dishes. You can cook 2 more until you feed the family. On the prep table you can cook 1 while the family table is full. Other suggestion is to upgrade your table to hold more dishes. PZYMYG
When you are low in energy, that is when to call them to eat. When you have energy, you won't be able to do so. But keep cooking until all the slots on the stoves and tables are full so you have backup. PZYMYG...
If your game will not load or update or it shuts down when playing...You may not have enough space in your device to run the island. I used to have that problem all the time. Remove what you don't need. Put pictures onto external storage. PZYMYG
If you cannot install updates... You could try clearing cookies and if it doesn't work Uninstall and re-install. Make sure you have it linked to Facebook or something so you do not lose your progress. PZYMYG
You need to view videos daily pretty much and click the link for free gifts. Turn notifications on on this channel to remind you to do it. Also go to the facebook page and instagram profile to collect. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY GENERATORS AS THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They get your info and bad things could happen. Report them to Admin. There are a lot of tips right in this comment. PZYMYG

I'm at level 60 and have gone through the islands. Iv use almost everything in the remaining islands. I think and need more islands that I can visit regularly with out them disappearing on me for resources. And I'm sure this is true for others. The only way I can get resources is by playing the events. Please add more resource islands for higher level players so we can get resources.

Do you know how to add extra garden beds after the initial thing? I only have like 6, and I can't find them in the store
Keep all your shells, clover, and salt. You are going to need it in the higher levels. It sure runs out fast. IZ1WW8

@@tchristie3529 I can’t remember when it starts, but I have been without for many many levels. I am on level 55, and it started out as needing 20 shells to make 1 item, then jumped to 100 shells for one item. Then you need eggs out the wazoo to make the bread for the sandwiches 🥪, and salt to make the cheese for the sandwiches. It is the cheapest, but gives you the most energy. Plus you don’t have bowls breaking all the time. Maybe levels 35 or 40 and up. Just a guess. It has been a hot minute….
As per any game don't be tempted to spend those gems just yet keep them. The bigger the better the value you can get.
I love tip #3.when you get a new island and there are certain trees where once you get rid of them you an extra special prize ( they look like pink cherry blossom trees)
I like the tip about chopping down the trees and how they give the best gifts and about how ain't friends gives you more rewards
Best advice: You do NOT have to play all the Islands. It's very important to build and complete tasks on your home islands!

I found the most helpful tip in the video about the trees especially the pink blossoms. They do give you presents on other islands except for the event islands the trees that usually gives presents on the event islands is the blue trees.
“808” I am new to Family Island I have only been playing it about 5 days now, when I kept getting stuck with my inventory filling up on me all the time so I would clear everything out, and then I figured out that these were bonuses, so now instead of clearing it out I make a needle which gives me enough room to continue my game. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to carry on playing family Island 😕 😪 & miss it very much 😢 but on welfare I had a limit on how much I could spend Unfortunately it wasn't enough to keep my family going in total I have spent over 400 hundred pounds just getting to level 20 , so that's it for me I am out & have had to uninstall my game , but love to watch it continue to grow on your regular updates on CZcams, to those who can afford it keep playing & enjoy your special time with your special family Islanders & good luck to you all hope you do make it to the end ❤️ Linda Dunn x

That’s good to know! Pink blossom trees. One tip I found was that if the items you’re making get down to 30 seconds, you can click “free” on the item and it will expedite completion so you can get it faster. 😅

I recommend that you don’t press use until you have all items needed for entering the special items room until you have them all. I lost many saws and shovels and lost out because of the room closed before I could add up.
Always watch pre game videos and log in to facebook and Instagram pages for extra points and guidance when an new in game is coming out. Use free in game gifts for completing their tasks,to make it through the islands.
When I am doing an event, I will sometimes return to a completed island to find something I missed or to open a gift section which doesn’t require as many tools.
ID# 3PKHCH I would like to share 2 things I have noticed about the gold tools that are in the treasure chests that require keys to open... 1st is... I have noticed that the larger/purple chests that require 3 keys, they dont always give a full set (shovel, saw, pick-axe) of gold tools, they give several gold tools, but not always a full set. 2nd... I have also noticed that the smaller, 1 key chests, Do give 1 full set (shovel, saw, pick-axe) of gold tools. This is from my own personal experience.

I can’t believe how long I played creating one item at a time before I realized I could stack 3 at a time 😑is it just my chemo brain or did any of you take awhile to learn this yourself?🤭
When your inventory is full make crafts or trade them off but they will also come in handy if you need it later. So I tend to still. Break things down so I know I have extra materials laying around the island or board.

Tip -1Always collect resources from adventure Island only if they are in the task table like stone grass, logs 🪵 and other basic items. Because so many times the resources on adventure Island are costly.
Tip -2 sometimes the resources on adventure Island are cheap one also like blue rocks and resin (and many more) from trees on the adventure Islands, make sure to use it .

where do you find them??
You used to be able to use the search function for keys to find them but this doesn't seem to work anymore. Does anyone know another way to locate the pink bags?
I found the tip about the rewards hidden in the trees to be very helpful. Thank you.
The most useful trick is taping the white box with the magnifying glass to find the items you need.
Some resources give you the same amount of reward but cost less energy. Example: plain green grass gives you 2 tufts of grass for 4 energies and the grass with yellow flowers gives 2 tufts of grass for 5 energies. Keep track of which give more for less to save energies. 1F2H5F

Love the side adventures I came in first place in the dolphin wave it was great.
J adore ce jeu, le concept, les couleurs et le graphisme, les défis sont au top, j aime le défi ‘danse’ ou tu peux acheter avec des rubis. C’est un peu long d attendre presque 3 heures pour pouvoir gagner des clés. Sinon c’est vraiment génial.

The little bushes with berries on different island get them they will give you every not only that go back to the island you finished there probably some energy there intbrooms locked up I if the rooms ask for 1 shaw 1 shovel one 1 pick if u only have one leave you'll find later when you need energy bad u can go back and get them I hope yall understood all that. 1LJKLS When you are upgrading buildings, only focus on 1 at a time. And use a calculator to figure out exactly how much resources you'll need to upgrade it.

Sometimes, the dynomite doesn't blow up a very big area, if i do the math for the amount of gems i used per items i got it would have been less to use energy than rubies/gems.
Some things seem very hard don't give up. They pay off when finished they have so many bonuses you will get everything back and then some

Yes I enjoy the game, and wish there was more energy, as it isn't enough, cost of items to collect use it too quickly. Therefore takes ages to get through a island event on time. Have been enjoying the time though

I used to love the pink bags but the old key search trick no longer works. How do I find them now?
Only way I know now is through notifications from the games app it will tell you a hint like, it's under a fig tree! Not very helpful but that's all I've noticed in trying to find it.

Figured out how to change the balls to smash the pumpkins , 🎉🎉 but wonder where the trick is to find all the hidden gifts
I’m only on level 23 and I’m on the farmhouse island. When I was on the fluttering feathers island, they put an empty egg shelf on the homeowner and I can’t find the flower wreath that’s supposed to go in that anywhere. Don’t have any keys or the gold items like the saw so I never open any chests.

My suggestion, lesson the amount of things you need for tasks or lesson the energy needed
You don’t have to complete an event in order to get quite a bit of the leaderboard prizes, if you don’t have enough energy to complete the event, sometimes is good to try to get as much of the tasks done to get great prizes that way.
