Whyte averaged less than 5 punches landed per round. He fell into the ropes after the 8 count and he didn't hit his head on the canvass. Fury showed mercy not wanting to take the opportunity to do serious damage to a defenceless opponent.
He also wasn't knocked down by a punch to begin with, is that legal?
@@brianserious what do you mean is that legal? That question doesn't make sense. What they shouldn't count the knock down? Thats jus twhen it comes top points. Whyte was still out so he would have lost. And he did get knocked down by the punch. He couldn't stand 10 seconds later. You really think he would have been able to stay on his feet there?
@@brianserious whatâs nonsense are you talking about?

If so, he needs to retire NOW! đđđđđŒ
@@brianserious Whyte was clearly out on his feet, to follow up with a hook or a cross to the head in that moment would've been attempted murder, and he would've still gone down and you people wouldn't be arguing about it. I saw the push, but it was a gente touch indeed, a breeze of air would've had the same effect. Fury didn't throw the extra punch cause he knew the uppercut had sealed the deal.
We talk about mental game but no one's mentioned how Fury gamed Whyte the most.
He convinced him to come in heavy. Whyte was slow and I had him gassing after 5 but he only lasted 3 and he barely did anything, just chased really.
Then Fury comes in light to be lithe and quick to dance away from Whyte's top heavy bulk.
Whyte thought it would be like the Wilder fight, up close and a trade show. Instead he got classic Fury with Kronk upgrades.
Never had a shot.
facts.. classic Fury with Kronk recipe..
He wasnât good, versatile or long enough to make it the same fight wilder can
I donât agree with this. Whyte came in with his game plan, to try and cut off the ring, and work his way to the inside, Fury was just to good for him. Itâs really that simple.
Fair analysis!
Whyte 100% had the mental edge by skipping presser duties .. fury and warren were rattled

Well said mate..
Ask for a thesaurus next Christmas.
Whyte had no interest in selling the fight, his share of the purse was 20% regardless of the ppv sales......& he has a dispute & dislike for Frank Warren......so, why are his actions silly? FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART
Dillion Shyte doesnt deserve a 2nd fight
I reckon within the next week, Whyte will retract what he has said, otherwise he won't live it down like Wilder. People will just not want to support him in the future and will not take him seriously. It was a complete mismatch, just like most people thought it would be. There were a lot of people over the years, who actually thought Fury was scared of Whyte lol. Its surprising how many people are Tyson Fury fans now, when I was backing him over Whyte and AJ over the last 3 years. There were loads of people on here and Facebook backing Whyte and AJ, saying Fury is ducking them and scared. Now all of a sudden, them people have probably been deleting old comments and pretending to be behind Fury. Fury knew Whyte was gone, so he could of just let him fall forward and smash his face on the canvas. He also could of hit him a few more times and put him down and hurt him very badly. So he didn't do either of them because he didn't want to hurt Whyte, they were at one time very close friends. So I think Whyte should watch it back and then say he was wrong to say what he said. Fury did it in the past against Chisora in their 2nd Fight, he was busting Chisora's face and in the end stopped hitting him and was just jabbing him. Then was pleading with the ref to stop it, the corner pulled Chisora out and the crowd was booing. What do people want to happen, for Fury to inflict maximum damage and see someone be seriously hurt or killed. They have families and Fury doesn't need it on his mind. To be fair the Ref allowed Whyte to get up and allowed him to stand and still didn't wave it off. He allowed Whyte to try and walk over to him and Whyte fell into the ropes and the Ref held him up. He had every opportunity to carry on, he was out of it and he knew it. He went over to Fury after and there was no issue, why didn't Whyte say it after in the ring. Just another one who mouthed off over the years and couldn't back it up. To make it worse for Whyte, his head didn't even hit the Canvas. Maybe Whyte should of said something else like Wilder did, he might as well have another excuse. We will probably hear Whyte say Fury took too long on the Ring walk, kept him waiting and he got cold. So when the Fight started, he couldn't lift his arms properly because he was cold. Lol
I just wanted to say the one part of this statement that stood out to me was when you said - âthey were at one point very close friends.â I wonder how do you know for sure? Is it because tyson sold an autobiography or what?
@@master-of-mind5881 They use to spar together in the early days, when Whyte was coming through. He stayed with Tyson and they went out and did stuff together. Tyson said it in the press conference before the fight and in interviews after the fight.
Whether Whyte was a match for Fury is irrespective, he was the mandatory challenger (& for a considerable amount of time), who stepped aside a number of times to allow the Wilder fights. We see this scenario often in boxing, where the champion is so superior to his closest ranked opponents that challenges present as mismatches. At heavyweight, there is no option to move up in weight to pursue bigger challenges. Fury is right to retire (there is no one in this era that offers a challenge), he'll leave the game with an undefeated record but with a poorly regarded legacy due to the talent-empty era he competed in.
Heretic it is called mercy. Fury could easily have slipped in another hard punch. Also both AJ and Povetkin had a war with Whyte, this was a sparring session. Light work for Tyson.
Your comment is the longest one we've ever seen just saying 'I told you so'. Millions of people also said the same thing, so don't expect them to see you as some sort of pundit, cos you're not.
And for goodness sake, learn to use paragraphs.
Fury beating Wilder twice (probably three times) solidifies his place as one of the all-time greats. Did anybody really think Whyte had a chance in this fight? I'm hoping AJ bows out of the Usyk fight and lets him fight Fury (Fury will beat him too), because heavyweight boxing could use it. AJ should fight Wilder, I think that fight would still draw a good PPV and I think Wilder would KO him. Wilder is the second best heavyweight in the world right now in my opinion, but there is no need to see him fight Fury again.

I was disappointed in the fight. I wanted a showdown not a playground scuffle.
They both sold us the illusion at the PC that this will be a FIGHT! It was boring and predictable especially disappointed in whyte because he couldnât even last a couple more rounds. Heavyweight boxing is in serious need of a classic-iconic bout between two greats. Itâs missing that legendary feud that inspirational story. Unfortunately we wonât get Fury vs AJ and itâs highly unlikely we will ever get Fury vs Uysk.
Instead weâre getting Fury vs Francis Ngannou because itâs all about the money. The credibility of boxing has declined considerably over the years.
Happy for a Fury and all his glory but Iâm tired of him already. Joshua has peaked, Whyte is a complete joke, Chisora was hilarious but just another hype-man-jobber and donât even get me started on David Haye.
Povetkin is an old dog whoâs had his day. Parker is too much of a gentlemen. Vladimirâs balls dropped off when he lost to Fury and by the time he stitched them back on for his fight with AJ the damage had already been done. Ruiz took his one and only shot and ran with it fair play to him whilst Uysk is on top form right now, a serious fighter.
He doesnât need to dress up as batman or throw tables at his opponent, he just shows up and goes to work! Unfortunately he is still a pawn in this pretentious game that is boxing or should I say sports entertainment like the WWE. Nothing but theatrics, pantomime and politics.
Yup couldn't believe how many people said he will win it was mind boggling
Thatâs because fury Is a cherry picking fraud
A rematch would be the most stupidest thing to do with a performance like that. Whyte needs to seriously reconsider his trainers if he wants to improve as a boxer or just call it a day and hang up the gloves
End of round one dillian whyte was exhausted
Dillian lost every round I believe I was expecting more from him if honest but fury made him look average that shows where fury is and Whyte I think if fury vacates belt maybe he fight for title again but boxer always beats a puncher aslong stays switched on I said from first round dillian looked square on even in southpaw stance I also said by 2nd 3rd round I see Whyte swinging fury taking a step back coming back upper cut dillion look rubbish but not because he's rubbish because fury another level.
holly shit ,one juge had tyson behind a point coming in to the 6th round. That is some next level....
Sounds like ppv numbers bombed a bit by that reaction
Go on Frank!!
If he made good ppv numbers like he said he would he would have told everyone
To be fair to whyte that howling took most of his energy away, it was a particularly long ring walk and you could clearly see fury's gloves looked suspicious when pushing whyte to the floor
I don't think there's another person on the planet other than Whyte & maybe some of his family/friends/team who want this- & I'd bet half of them don't want it either!
Whyte has grossly overachieved financially, if I was him I'd gladly sail off into the sunset.
You are not him.

Push ? What about the elbowing and back of head shots from Whyte
I can only see one fight Tyson would want and that's Joshua but only if he beats Usyk
RIGHT AS WELL!
Publish the ppv numbers.
Fair play to old Fish Eyes. Still a class act.
Of course there's no rematch cause push gate will follow we want to keep push gate under wraps
Spot On Frank. "Better that he pushed White rather than give him another punch"
A rematch! For what reason? So that he can boycott the promotion again?
Thereâs no need anyway
Dillian don't want that rematch. He didn't even look upset that he lost. I like watching him fight and it just didn't look like his heart was in it most of that fight. If he's cool with taking a bag of cash and getting out I don't see a problem with that. He's done very well for himself considering where he came from.
No rematch.. for what thatâs a clean win bro
Ban rematch clauses and ban immediate rematches.
They are the stale bread of boxing.
Why shouldn't a boxer be able to move on to other challenges after winning a close fight? Rematches should come later on, if necessary.
Jack Catterall was pushed down the rankings after the MacRobbery, so sanctioning bodies don't believe in immediate rematches, certainly not for English boxers, so they should ban rematch clauses for championship fights.
Thatâs not Louis van gaal?
Nope never in a month of Sunday's after Saturday's fight it was an overwhelming win by Tyson and there are no reasons to suggest otherwise, whyte never even came close to hurting or beating Tyson.
Frank's bang on. Better to push him than hit him again.... Could have have been brutal
A judge had Fury behind,he must have been the only person on planet earth that thought Whyte was winning that fight honestly Ian flabbergasted that is quite unbelievable.
Its strange how the fighters Fury beats can never seem to accept their losses. Becoming a bit of a theme.
Whyte has no Ring coverage on his punches.(Even that left is tight to body)
If he does not have that,he MUST utilize mobile crouch and two handed low attack inside, yet not loiter.
He does not have that either.
No way Whyte even had a chance and his head never hit canvas.
Personally I donât think it was a fair fight, Dillian got way too cold standing there waiting for Fury to do his ring walk, when the first bell went he could barely move his arms. Not only that, the sitting on the throne was extremely intimidating and overly threatening, I think the WBO needs to consider dillians mental health moments before going into the fight, on top of the chill of standing in the ring.
Also Iâm hearing more and more on Twitter that there was a small stone in between Dillianâs toes, some sources are saying Fury put it there himself, why arenât people talking about this?
Haha maybe Whyte should become a champions and then he can walk out second. All jokes aside, he would have warmed up by round 2 so the excuse is null and void Iâm afraid

In any other era, Whyte would be regarded, no more than just a journeyman.
He is a hyped version of Chisora.
