I always call chrysanthemum “that flower tea thing” cuz I can’t even remember how to pronounce it let alone spell it
When I read that I had no idea how to even read chrysanthemum. I literally said “chris-santhem-Um” and I honestly don’t know if that’s even right
It’s pronounced like kris-an-the-mum English is great that way😀

Fun little story abt me an a spelling bee. So, I was one of the final ppl, and I got up on stage, and they told me to spell attic. I swear to God, 6 year old me said "attic. A-t-t-i-t-i-t-i-t-c. I've never been so shamed

The long word max used for ross, i remembered in 10th grade I was in my english class in the library and I was sitting next to a student and we got bored in class and decided to find long words that were dumb and tried practicing them and well i found that word went over to my teacher and she looked at me like wtf is this kid saying. Later when i went to a different class i said the same thing to another teacher and her face was like oh wow impressive, but in the way of pretending to be nice 😂
Rules of a Spelling Bee:
1. You're supposed to go from easiest to hardest on a tier list. Not chosen at random
2. The judge doesn't get to participate, because they know the words
3. You don't get to choose your words
The first rule isn’t always applied, only if its a “offical” bee. If not some will be pandemonium on purpose
Those are official rules, this is a ross spelling bee rules dont matter

Yeah, that’s the correct swedish spelling. But since the english language doesnt have those two(3) extra letters, they spell it without the extra symbols on top. I believe because its easier for them

I’m 3rd grade I was in a spelling bee and the word I got out on was AUTUMN because I spelled it out A-U-T-U-M I got to three rounds till the end.. Gor 3rd grade I did pretty good
