Your very welcome. I recently just finished my bachelor's degree for game design and have been working alot of different games so if your ever looking for a second set of eyes or opinion hit me up
So as I understand it, the camera will stop moving in a certain axis when the player comes within a certain radius/area and otherwise is just freely chasing the player?
@MagicMaskedMonkey yes. The camera will follow the player until the camera runs into a constraints. A good example is when the player is about to leave the area and the camera becomes static. This is not done by the use of a seperate camera but by simply adding constraints to the main camera
Actually let me clarify. There are certain areas that the camera will become completely static and other areas that will limit movement on one of the axis. If you give me a specific time in the video I can explain which it's doing in better detail
@@mr.misiuo4368 oh thank you, but I dont think i need further explenation because your video was very clear. my explenation of my understanding was just lackluster, but thank you very much
Awesome vid, thanks for breaking this down. Cool how such a seemingly small detail adds so much, I never thought twice about it before
This is super helpful for an aspiring game dev. Thank you!
