TV even sounded different back then,
I still love the "Mac Tonight" commercial!
Well if that wasn't enough he is also rotating atop what appears to be literally the biggest Big Mac ever depicted, they have me sold on that alone, Moon Mutant Frankie Valli is just gravy after that
Changing Lime Skittles to Green apple...
YOU WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN WRIGLEY
Mac Tonight one is very memorable.
Tato Skins one is a blast from the past!
Always great to see Max Headroom!
I remember that Extra gum commerical, it's excellent.
WOW, L.A. Gear!
Flintstones vitamin commercial is unforgettable, whoever created that is pure genius.
Love that Total commercial with Angela Lansbury, always a pleasure to see her!
Bring back Mac tonight!
The Kool-Aid Moms voice sounds just like George Costanzas Mom on Seinfeld.
I forgot about the Kool-Aid mom! She was so cute. I think she was voiced by George Costanza's mom on Seinfeld.
Extra flavor, extra fun in Extra sugar free gum! Jingles were so well done in this era.
Brings back some great memories! Thanks for posting!
6:57. I do Lyft part-time and I was dropping someone off at a car rental place recently because her Suzuki broke down from flooding on the street from a storm. I said: "What?!?! You have a Suzuki?" She said: "Yeah. That's what other people say when they find out I have a Suzuki". Suzuki stopped selling cars in North America in 2012.
I had the mac tonight sunglasses
Anne Lockhart for Alpha Beta Supermarket. Always loved her on TV. And Angela Lansbury! Awesome. Jessica Fletcher gets a balanced breakfast with Total before solving murder mysteries.
She was on a few Knight Rider episodes, as pretty as her mom (June Lockhart from Lassie)
I know why people wanted to raid area 51 last year... they heard about time travel going on over there and wanted to go back to a simpler time!
9:21 the great David Doyle on the voice-over for Alka-Seltzer.
5:24 The voice of Doug Paul. If you watched WGN (Chicago), WPIX (NYC) or KPIX (SF) in the 80s, you'll know this guy's voice.
4:08 Sometimes Randy Newman sounded like a parody of himself. 😊
If you were old and you got a message from Angela Lansbury, Matlock or Mickey Rooney, you damn well listened, they were the consultant gods of the elderly
What ever happened to Tato Skins and KFC's Chicken Littles ?
KFC brings back Chicken Littles every so often. You still see commercials for it, just modernized.
What is it you think of first when saying "Chicken Little"? The story about a baby chick clamoring how the sky is falling yes? Not a good marketing angle, especially when you consider all those male chicks being macerated for animal feed even if it wasnt going into nuggets and pink slime
@@marthajimenez3421 To think that Kfc was ahead of the game with this, and not their Kfc Snacker or whatever, but McDonalds swoops in with the Jr Chicken at the right time, no one of the current main market remembers chicken littles and once McD's establishes something and people are used to it, there's no going back, A&W pitches a 1/3rd lb'r over Md's Quarter Lb'r, that its more meat, sales to McDonalds still increased and people stuck with the QP because they thought it was somehow more sandwich
America? Just blame it on the imperial system? I dunno
Back when there was no Facebook Twitter kids played until dark & the streetlights were on times were more educational etc
I remember the singing moon. I hear Mcdonads got sued over it.
can you add six million dollar man even the classic dynasty not the new one
Oh yeah Dexatrim, you barf, you get the runs, and you lose weight! Huzza!
Estelle Harris as Mrs. Koolaid LOL
So weird to see the same actress promo both the sugar free and classic versions its like, well, healthy choice or not? Pick a damn side! stop confusing me!
Thank so much for this!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
"My mom doesn't let us have those"
WHY DOES YOUR MOM HAVE A VENDETTA AGAINST FUDGE POPS?!?!?!
The ill-fated, easy to roll Suzuki Samurai at 6:58
The last lady in the “ Wide Rollon “ commercial is beautiful and looks familiar!
Awesome
I had a pair of LA Gear
Mac tonight has a pretty interesting backstory- check out his wiki sometime.
When you come down here to nostalgia lane, you know commercials were different, gonna see some weird shit,
But nothing, nothing on this Earth could have possibly prepared me for Grandma version of Kool-Aid guy
May god forgive us...
Do gum companies even make commercials anymore? This compilation is no exaggeration. We used to be clobbered by advertising for gum and I feel like it doesn't happen in 2021.
7:54 no, but Michael was looking for HIM hahahahaha.......
Those Mc Donald's commercials back then are so much better than now. Bat a but bum bum
I remember nutri sweet too lol
Orville Redenbacher!
I bet that max headroom show fell through quickly.he was disgusting..
4:08 Is that Randy Newman (Toy Story) singing (and probably the writer of) the NutraSweet jingle?
Who is the voice actor in the alka seltzer ad? I recognize his voice from an educational show
Hey Dave
Do You Have DANCE FEVER Episodes With Adrian Zmed From 1985 - 1987 With Original Commercials
I don't think so, but I have a lot of tapes that I haven't been through yet. If I find it, I'll definitely post it up for you. Thanks for watching!

To bylo bardziej psychodeliczne niz Magiczny swiat Ani...

dude wasnt a sax player... sax player knows not to eat candy and play.
"Tato skins"!?!? How in the living hell did they ever convince people to downgrade their chip quality and eat this?
"Now seasoned with all natural dirt on the rind side!" mMMMmm!
What did they take em for? Starving Irish?
Not a Woke moment in the bunch!
Man these were the best times. I miss them so much. 1987 seemed like the year lasted forever!
Great year as a 9 year old
