- If you're looking for a very fast, very sharp 35mm lens - check out this video! This 35mm f0.95 manual focus lens from TTArtisan is an incredible blur monster!
It's a beautifully made lens that shoots incredibly sharp, even wide open, and only gets sharper as you stop it down! It gives fantastic colour with strong, resonant and saturated colours, and the background blur this one makes is quite extraordinary. Soft and billowy, you really could just fall into it!
This is a great lens for any photographer's kit. It's very nicely made and makes great images, and for a very fast lens it's really cheap too! It can be bought for $199 US on the Shopify store, and $209.99 US on Amazon.

Mine arrived today. I'll be trying it for street photography in York tomorrow.
Recently I bought a pancolar 50mm F1.8 because of the good reviews here. I was happy with the images after I cleaned the lens. I noticed the color rendering too as you mention. But then even more recently I replaced my Yongnuo flash with a speedlight 580EXII with the idea of getting more light. I usually shoot manual in natural light, and boy! I was taken back by the combination. Somehow, the flash makes all my vintage lenses come up with really saturated colors that I really love. On top of that, the sharpness you mention is great. I'm also using higher aperture numbers to make focusing easier, but I'm really noticing all the sharpness I've been missing. I'm working on what my next lens should be. I'm loving 50mm, but also trying out 24, 28 and 35 all vintage.
Two really nice 35s spring to mind - the CZJ Flektogon 35 2.4 and the Olympus 35 3.5 - both well worth considering.

Probably he used the apsc mode. It automatically cropped the image
I'm using the aps-c mode of the a7 - it reads info from the central part of the sensor, giving an aps-c image.
This lens seems to not exist for M4/3 cameras. Do you know the reason for this, please?

M42 or K Mount - there are hundreds, possibly thousands to choose from in both mounts, from budget friendly to wallet busting prices! Either will spoil you for choice.

Is the 0.95 a lot better than the 1.4 version ?
It certainly makes a lot more blur!
@@zenography7923 The TTArtisan 50mm 0.95 although has more blur compared to the F1.2 50mm, the images aren't that sharp.
Is it the same with 35mm 0.95? Could you please let us know if that is the case?
Also curious to know about the sharpness difference for an image taken with the 35mm 0.95 at F1.4 vs the same image taken with 35mm 1.4 at 1.4.
@@shashankagrawal698 im also curious about this as I have the TTArtisan 35mm f1.4 and just won a giveaway of their 35mm f0.95. Trying to decide if I should dispose of the f1.4 to have only one 35mm lens
@@lance_medul Congrats - but before you dispose one of those, please do let us know whether an image taken with the 35mm 0.95 at F1.4 has the same sharpness levels as the image taken with 35mm 1.4 at 1.4.
That would help me in deciding if I can go for the 0.95 lens instead of the 1.4 one.

I am always curious as to why hard stops at F8 and F16 and nothing in between ?? I generally use F11 for a landscape shot.
Most likely a mechanical limitation - perhaps it's difficult to squeeze a half stop between the two at this point?

I think both are made in the same factory
@@israyosoy maybe but this has a clicked aperture ring and the 7art doesnt. but the 7art looks better (looks like a leica lens ngl)
