  • Hey y’all! In this video, I will be showing how I installed these Spring Twists, just in time for this nice weather🌱🤎
    I chose to start on stretched, air-dried hair (instead of blow-dried), since the texture of the twists mimicked my natural hair and I’m trying to cut down on using heat!
    The hair came in 3 bundles, which each had 10 pre-separated sections. I split each of those sections in half, giving me a total of 60 sections. And I used every single one!
    Products Used:
    -Outre Synthetic Braid - X PRESSION Twisted Up Springy Afro Twist 16 (1-PACK, 1B): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
    -Camille Rose Honey Hydrate
    -Camille Rose CurlAide Moisture Butter
    -Ivie Beauty Growth Moisturizer
    -Jam Condition and Shine Gel Extra Hold
    Enjoy and thank you so much for watching!☺️

    So so kaaayute!!! New subbie here😀!!! I watched this vid a few days ago and rushed to purchase this hair and make it happen...my bad, I ordered 12" - any comment on whether or not you think it'll work? LOL, you got shrinkage, what's gonna happen to me🤔?!! I'm still gonna do it though any suggestions? Also, what does the ACV do?

    • @KhaliyahKai
      @KhaliyahKai  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you! I actually intended to do the 12 inch, but couldn't find it on Amazon😂 I think it'll still look great, and probably be closer to shoulder-length! Also, synthetic hair is usually coated in an alkaline base that can irritate the scalp. The apple cider vinegar lifts this off.

    Loved your video. I will try this again. When I twist from the root my hair usually slides down and I end up braiding the root first. Your video was easy to follow. I will report back if I made it work for me.
    Update: I tried it again and still can't get it to work. Your tutorial was great i just can't get the roll at the root to work.

      @bj Morgan I always braid my root because I also had that problem. You can't really tell a difference braiding the root with the afro twist hair which is why I love it.
