I wonder if hollystones engineers unlike dji's took into consideration existing flight systems and how much of a pita it would be to fly with in mixed groups...as dji is...
I get horrible camera lag vs display and the app gets extremely bogged down once connected. It even freezes up, And this is in very close range too. Is it a android vs iPhone thing you think? Btw thanks for the video.
Any advice?? Is it the phone ?
@wilbur7096 thanks for the comment and for watching. I do believe the app functionality depends greatly on the device your using. I was using the Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra. Not sure which device you have but maybe try a different one and see if anything improves.
@@edrone_ that was my suspicion, im using a Samsung A03S ..... its a slow phone if that makes sense. thanks so much for the comeback.
This is one of holy stones better drones but, it’s got a long ways to go before it comes close to DJI.
Just one thing, this drone does not shoot RAW video, it can record to AVI and MP4.
Also it would be better to see some actual recordings from the drone.
however this thing at least seams promising.
When I said raw video it means straight from the drone with no color grading. Probably should have stated Auto settings on the camera with the font as well. What do you mean by actual recordings from the drone? I included the clips from the video and pictures I got straight off the drone from the micro SD card.

Yeah of course, should have thought that that is what you meant, just to used working with RAW coded video files so it has just one meaning in my mind, my mind is bit to narrowed in that way as it looks 😂
What I meant by actual drone footage is full size / full screen video from the recording internally in the drone. That gives better feeling for the quality of the footage.
Of course it can be separated video also.
Does this have any of the BS geofencing and restrictions like the DJI? Or are Holystone completely unlocked?
No geofencing on this one. You can fly it anywhere at your own risk of course.

Your time stamps dont show up because your first entry has to be 00:00 Start !! WOW.. quite the infomercial. There is so much wrong with this drone for the price compared to all its competition. Definitely not a premium craft, lots of gimbal shake. Only a 1/2.3 camera with an f2.6 - - - Way, Way behind the times. Sorry... but good effort.

It's definitely the most premium drone that I have reviewed from Holystone. The price with the coupon codes is very competitive with similar drones that are with this weight and features. Thanks for the compliment. Maybe infomercials will be in my near future! 😉
