- Lakers have to figure out what to do with D'Angelo Russell this offseason. Lakers News came out that they might offer a inflated contract to DLO for a potential Lakers Trade. Lakers even if they trade for a star they could keep DLO as their 4th option and build a potential super team. Lakers Nation doesn't seem high on Dlo right now but is he worth keeping?

The problem with the Trae Young and Mitchell trades is we don’t have enough salary so we have to give up more players. Maybe bringing back DLo on a bloated 1+1 (either non guaranteed or team option) might be a good idea.
I think DLOs playoff slumps are a coaching staff issue, making him a statue and not an aggressive pick & roll player...

Defensive liability all over again. All you’re getting in Mitchell is a better, more consistent scorer, playmaker over reaves. Defensively you’re actually getting smaller. You need a defensive minded guard to pair with either DLo/ Reaves. Or Mitchell if they get him.

I think we should give DLo 35 mil with 2nd year 25 mil team option. It makes his contract more attractive. Also most of the stars sit near 35 mil. Bane, Ayton, Adebayo, McCollum, Middleton, Garland, Ingram all sit around that range. Also if a team is struggling next year. They could use DLo to clear cap space

dLo is NEVER going to help the Lakers be winners. They have Vanderbilt, Max Christie, They have a couple picks. They have young guys in rookie contracts.
