Years back i become homeless and had to live in a tent in the woods. I thought i knew everything there is to know about how to camp outdoors, of course I was wrong. If it wasn't for you tube and it's content, i wouldn't been as great as i am today. I looked up everything i needed to know on how to cook over a camp fire and so much more. Thanks to you tube, i can call myself a true outdoors men, but still can learn so much more. Since then I'm not homeless anymore, and moved on to bigger and better things in life. I'll choose you tube over anything. Thanks CZcams.
By how big is CZcams, I expected also how many servers, how many hard drives and storage space, and how fast they need too upgrade new hdds and servers. That is what I always wondered but didn't find the answers anywhere.

CZcams evolved at a time when TV was unable to produce a never - ending re - starting audience. They used to say the best ebtertainment would be constantly re - starting films and / or documentaries. CZcams is a real treasure for all. Thanks For Sharing

In college around 6 yrs ago got heavily into CZcams so consuming over TV .. then I unsubbed from cable TV and went 'full time' CZcams which really changed my life .... now I'm in the screen 😎🌴🙏🙏
at 14:00 min. When advertisers pull back from any media, then that will have nothing to do with censorship or freedom of speech, it does not pay to be anti-commercial which is logical, none of the videos were censored or banned or removed, money has nothing to do with thougths or opinions, CLEAR
2 years later, the "indirect" censorship on CZcams is worse than ever. No hoped-for fixes yet, I'm afraid.

I personally would miss YT very much. I don't watch TV much, almost nothing. Here I find mass of educational and sometimes entertaining videos. It is really a bank of videos, that I would need plenty of lifetimes to watch. Thank you ColdFusion and CZcams.

CZcams is today free self education for many in both 1st/2nd and third world countries. Hopefully it won't die off ever, but I'd download any really valuable vid as it is there today but since it is nothing but a company, it could close anytime.

They should let advertisers choose filtering for themselves and do partial monetization models. Maybe Walmart doesn't want to advertise on an offensive video, but an offensive advertiser might.
Someone could also build their own system for appending advertisements on videos and still use CZcams to host the video. Some channels are already inserting their own advertisements into the actual video.
CZcams has changed so much, im sure eventually we will be paying to access it.
That ending was a bit emotional... Seeing all those videos swing by. CZcams has been a big part of my youth since 2006 as well, and I'm sure for so many people watching this video. How time flies by and to understand we're part of a big connected picture.

It's unbelievable how the integrated circuit has changed the world over the past 40 years. I was born in the Netherlands in the early 70s so when I was a preteen there were no mobile phones and my parents didn't even have a land line. They had to go to a payphone to make an appointment with the doctor or dentist. There were 2 national TV channels, 1 Belgian channel, on french spoken Belgian and 2 German channels to watch. VHS video recorders didn't exist yet so if you wanted to watch a movie it had to be either airing on one of the handful of TV channels or be playing at the cinema. All electronics were huge, this was before even the Walkman was invented. Computer games didn't exist yet either or in the early 80s just weren't affordable yet. If you compare that to nowadays it's a totally different world.

I see this pattern all over. An industry starts losing money to a new version of itself. Rather than put in the time and money to adapt and leap ahead, they fight to keep their profits up without changing what they're doing. Whether by smear campaigns, lawsuits, getting new laws made, or by straight-up bullying people, they try to take the new guy down so that they don't have to lose money.

My favorite CZcams channel is the one I used to post this comment. I use that channel primarily to watch and catalog language-learning-related videos by other channels, which I catalog with huge playlists.

I've *learned* more in one year staying at home watching youtube videos than 12 years of public 'education'
CZcams is not censoring anybody besides the isis videos that get deleted. Demonetisation is not censorship as you have the freedom to say whatever you want in your videos Advertisers have the right to not play ads before your videos. After all money is speech right ? so freedom of speech also covers demonetisiation.
Mordin Solis hence why it's called the adpocalypse. Many youtubers are leaving to either get a regular 9-5 job or going to a different venue to continue doing what they like doing. CZcams is also feeling it as well. They are trying to get a handle on it but it's very messy
It's a loose form of censorship. Sure, anyone can continue posting videos, but if the revenue they used to generate in order to continue making content is no longer there, for many it's not viable. It's like why would you continue going to work if your boss said "We're not going to pay you anymore but you're free to keep working; but these other guys other there, they'll keep getting paid because they have a different opinion than you". If the incentive to make money on CZcams is to only have a particular opinion, that should worry all of us.
thats how life works, nobody says its censorship if a newspaper no longer gets ads and can thus no longer make newspapers.

youtube is not a right, its a platform. they can do whatever they want on it. if they want to ban every cat video on it since the new ceo hates cats nobody can say that it is censorship.
if you want to make videos that you can monetise however you want and with whatever content you want, you have to make your own site, pay your own servers and find your own advertisers.
CZcams is a company owned by somebody, you have no right to tell them what they can demand of you or not. If they want every partner to do a video where they swear allegiance to the spagetti monster, that is their right.
You're right, and I agree with you, but that doesn't make the ramifications any less worrying. CZcams is of course a major platform, and basically has a monopoly on the video market. Good luck competing with them. Incentivizing only one particular set of opinions has far reaching consequences, that's my point.
These videos are awesome, love watching these to learn more about various things :)
