Crazy to think that the Hell in a Cell veteran Undertaker here will go on to have NINE more HIAC matches while HHH, who described HIAC as a career killer, will go on to have seven more matches. Meanwhile, this was Austin's final HIAC match and Rock and Angle's first and only HIAC match. Wild.
Still crazy that this match happened to this day. The way they used the cars was so much fun. It felt so much like fights back then. Crowd was all on their feet when Austin and HHH went up.
What was amazing to watch was the months of build up to a match that no-one saw coming, thanks to Mick Foley and the WWE writers. The rivalries and storylines between these superstars were so captivating, in particular the whole who-ran-over-Austin saga.
No offence to Rikishi, but he was the odd man out in that line up. It involved all the greats of the attitude era. It could have just done with a Mankind or Kane or Mr McMahon or even a Big Show, to make it a perfect line-up. Obviously Mankind would have been first choice.
he might have been odd man.....but still this match lineup was great and no change would have made it any better......however i would have wanted someone else to win rather than kurt angle to make it look more authentic......we all know it is scripted and the winner is fixed, but I think making someone else win would have made it look better.......winner could have been any of the great 4....rock or stonecold or triple h or undertaker.....may be not stonecold, but one of the other 3, because stonecold had to win at wrestle mania
The most unfortunate thing to happen back then was Austin's injury because he would've surely continued wrestling for at least another 10 years as the top dawg.
Really, you rap3baby sons of whors. Whats your problem with Rikishi huhh !! NPC mtoerfkers, his fall from that height wasn't enough. You NPC gutter born rap3babies like to feed on mainstream media very much huhh. Glad, WW3 wil erase your anus types soon enough. Stupid sons of whors .
@@Tripp393You are the one who's wrong. Rikishi was *NOT* perfect. The other 5 were all the biggest stars in the company at the time. Rikishi was never a top star in the company. So he just stuck out like a sore thumb in this match.
Hands down , the greatest match ever involving the rattlesnake, The Game, People's champion, Rikishi, Kurt angle and the phenom ❤️
5 stars well and truly
Love that Angle gets no nickname
Boy did we take all this content for granted back in the 2000s 🤣

If it wasn’t for the Atittude era and the Ruthless Aggression period that followed, would anyone even be watching, truly?
I was born in 2001 , I’m 22 Now bruh Yall had It Good🔥🔥🔥All this stuff is amazing
I loved how as soon as the Rock and Stone Cold started throwing hands, everybody in the crowd forgot it was a 6 man match 😂
I didn't
Lol because you aren't even born at that time to be in the crowd 😂
Legendary match
This Match and Undertaker and Mankind Cell match are the best Hell In A Cell matches.. I'm sure people have their favourites but those 2 are mine 😀

This shows how old all the wrestlers were they were in their 20s and 30s still young
I wish HHH would book more multiple man title matches other than Elimination Chamber.
The most unfortunate thing to happen back then was Austin's injury because he would've surely continued wrestling for at least another 10 years as the top dawg.
HHH took a beating 🤣🤣
replace Rikishi with Kane or Jericho and you got proper Attitude dream match
Kane would be my choice or of course Mankind if he was still wrestling
Shawn Michaels

Top 3 HIAC ever
100% agreed with that list
More like top 5. You can't honestly rank this over Undertaker's HIAC matches with Mankind, Shawn Michaels, and Brock Lesnar.
@@YTWarrior100 yes I can because its my list, Taker vs Mankind, HBK vs Taker, 6 man HIAC
👍
