It is beautiful. I was struck with the idea that the temples, in a sense, show how magnificent a building can be when it is completely dedicated to the Lord and how it while still on the earth feels like it belongs on a holier plan. Likewise, our lives can be made far more polished, beautiful, and uplifting when we completely dedicate our lives to the Lord just as the temples are.

Wow… I’m 17, so I’ve never actually been inside the whole temple before, but in just two minutes I can tell it’s pure. I could practically see Christ walking down those stairs, this is definitely where God would live if he was on Earth today
Maybe. But also when Christ was here on the Earth he didn't spend time in places like this. He spent his time seeking out the poor, the sick, the marginalized. He found them where they were. Not to knock the temple - it's gorgeous. Just some food for thought. 😊

I might like touring around that temple. I've enjoyed touring around a couple of the other ones. Church people got a bit nervous when i went through the last one. I was invited to "look around and check things out." I did, and apparently I looked too deeply. Think, Mike Nesmith auditioning for the Monkey's in 1960. Kid opened drawers and partially took the "Farmer's Daughter" set apart.
