@@maximoplf a best trick is not about clean, its about make a gnar trick, im more into powerhouse skating over tech, but cmon, switch tre switch noseblunt? Thats fucking huge. Dont get me wrong, i loved the hardflip to many, its a gnar trick, but i think its not best trick worthy... U had angelo caro with treflip fs blunt shove out, durao with fs flip late back one foot, yuto with nollie late flip board, hurricane fakie flip out, i mean.... Any of those would beat the hardflip many

Nah no way... more technical, but not harder. You could also argue that the bigger flip blunt shuv out is more technical than sw tre nb. I think they are about the same because one was off bump and other was down rail.
Both Yuto and Shane can do the switch 3 noseblunt easy…. Therefore nothing new

The judges factored in other elements like diversity and white privilege of the other skaters then deducted it from their scores... to determine the best trick. Welcome to the future where you can win and not feel like you actually earned it because you didnt win on having the best trick but because of DEI.

- What?! Holy sh*t, then it changes everything dramatically, now "Switch 360 Flip to FS Noseblunt" is the best trick!
1) "Switch 360 Flip Noseblunt" was not done cleanly, "Hardflip Manual" was done perfectly.
2) "Switch 360 Flip Noseblunt" can be performed on almost any spot. Whereas such a "Hardflip Manual" can be done right here. Gabriel showed creativity, and used the concrete slab for sliding as a manualbox.
3) Do you really think "Hardflip over Gap to Manual" is not a difficult or beautiful (spectacular) trick? Just because a trick is more technical does not make it the best trick, or a priori the most difficult.
@@maxkost9805Lol dude your comment makes no sense. That hard flip to manny can be done on any grindable surface anywhere not “just here”. It’s objective that the SWITCH tre to SWITCH nose blunt is the harder trick.
@@iggystardust9236 I don't agree with you. There aren't many places where you can fly over a Gap with a Hardflip and then do a Manual into a ramp rather than just doing that trick on a Manualbox. While “Switch 360 Flip to FS Noseblunt” can be done in almost any skate park or spot (if you know how to do it, of course). I don’t deny that “Switch 360 Flip to FS Noseblunt” may be more difficult, but this is the Best Trick nomination and at this spot, and not the abstract “the harder trick”.

It makes sense seeing as how I’ve seen a freakin’ 14-year-old do a big flip front board at a skatepark.
But man, it’s still crazy to think about.
The way those two looked at each other at the end kind of tells me why that trick won over the other wild ones 🤷♂️ imo

How on earth is a hardflip manny the best trick over switch tre noseblunt ? There were 3-4 better tricks than that, huge fortunato fan too so its definitely not bias, just simply not the best trick
There were lik 4 or 5 tricks that I was lik omg…n that wasn’t one of them…dope trick…but Shudnt have won…Marcos fs hurricane fakie flip…or Angelo back 180 nose grind to board or lip or watnot
I think the hurricane fakie flip transfer because it’s such a unique trick. Micky Papa and Yuto did crazy tricks that they’ve already done down much bigger obstacles in their video parts, so I think that probably hurt them.
