When I was about seven, we played pesäpallo with my family. I was the one throwing the ball... My sister whacked me in the head with the bat. I have hated the game ever since... 😅
I was half expecting him to get hit by the stick instead. So many "Bonk" comments would have been made about it lol

In Norway, we call this game Døball (Deathball), or Slåball (literately Hitball). I had no idea that this was a thing outside of Norway, and I’m honestly pretty surprised. Man, I miss elementary school.
I thought this was a joke until CZcams recommended a video called "the rules of Pesapallo". I watched it and now I can't unsee it.

Do remember that Helsinki hosted The OLYMPICS - 1940 to 1952 ! This was before almost ANY Foreigner - had seen The Game being Played ! This was an SPECIAL TREAT - to Everybody - WHO travelled to Helsinki to see The Games ! I would Be Nice to see interviews - made after They had seen - Finnish Baseball For The Very 1st Time !
