Synopsis:
Have you ever stopped to think if the most ordinary, uninteresting, unobtrusive man you might see on the road or around you might have a love story to tell? Maybe not! How can an ordinary man have a breathtaking, goose flesh igniting, awe inspiring love story of all things to tell?
This is what happened to Surinder Sahni (Shah Rukh Khan) - a simple, clean hearted, honest man, leading a humdrum life, when he meets his total opposite and finds love in the flamboyant, fun-loving, vivacious - Taani (Anushka Sharma) for whom the whole world is her canvas and she paints her own life with the colours of rainbow all until unforeseen circumstances changes it all and brings them together.
What follows is a journey filled with laughter, tears, joy, pain, music, dance and a lot of love. A journey that makes us believe that there is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi (couple).

The seriousness in his face.....it's as if he is having a conversation with his children or younger ones.....he sees Anushka as his younger sibling and so he makes her feel very comfortable with him❤❤I can imagine the amount of Love his co stars have for him......I mean the genuine ones👌💯❤in btw he should not think of leaving the movie industry.....at least not now because we still want to see more of him in many more blockbuster movies especially the romantic ones and also winning many more awards including the Oscars and Golden Globe awards.....it will surely come to Pass in His Life Time BY GOD'S GRACE 🙏🙏🙏❤❤
this is vintage SRK, he is flawless and amazing in every way, the last part just showed that he is just on another level that no one can even match right now!
Anushka is great too in this movie, no doubt, she is a jewel that will shine for a long time to come
Shahrukh speaks about duality shadows then non duality... as an actor he explains what nonduality is like ...it's really cool

SRK is such an intriguing man..apart from being extremely charming in every situation, kind, funny, honest, etc :) I now see what a complex person he is, the way he thinks and perceives himself.. Long ago I used to think he's not that good actor, that he's always overdoing it, but like he said he acts from his heart, so one should watch his movies with heart, not with criticism of mind. & that's what makes watching RNBDJ & other SRKfilms such a great experience.

On a really sad note, poor Shah Rukh. I don't know if anyone else paid attention while he was saying he's uncomfortable being himself, but he's really not just saying that. Even today he says things like this. He is a natural introvert. He's very shy. He's afraid of getting close to people. He's afraid of love. I understand now why Suri was so heartbreakingly believable: Suri experiences so much pain in love, and that's exactly what Shah Rukh endures all the time. He feels emotion so well as his characters because he fearfully refuses to feel it as himself. Even though he's one of the world's biggest stars with millions of people who love and support him so much, he still feels so lonely. He acts so he doesn't have to face that loneliness.
In conclusion, SRK is precious and deserves all the love we can give him. Also, I really need to buy his book.
