미국 버클리음대 출신 피아니스트 장보영과 독일 라이프찌히음대 출신 바이올리니스트 김시온의 듀오 앨범이 출시되었다.
앞선 시리즈와 다르게 바이올린과의 콜라보로 한 찬송가 녹음으로 바이올린의 현악기울림이 전달하는 찬송가 선율이 돋보인다.
바이올리니스트 김시온은 "나의 작은 신음소리도 응답해주신 하나님의 차고 넘치는 은혜에 감사하며, 허락하신 은사로 하나님께는 영광, 듣는 이들에게는 평안을 흘려보내는 연주자가 되고 싶다 " 라고 고백한다. 이 앨범은 흔한 화려한 기교나 편곡 없이 찬송가 본연의 익숙한 멜로디로 순수한 찬송가의 느낌을 담았다.
[Hymn of Glory]는 두 연주자의 의미있는 인생찬송가로, 기도하는 마음으로 드리는 하나님의 신실한 사랑을 향한 감사를 담고 있다.
Jang Bo-young, Kim Si-on [Hymn of Glory]
A duo album by pianist Jang Bo-young from Berklee College of Music in the US and violinist Kim Si-on from Leipzig University in Germany has been released.
Unlike the previous series, the melody of the hymn delivered by the resonating sound of the string instrument of the violin stands out through the recording of the hymn in collaboration with the violin.
Violinist Kim Si-on confesses, "I am grateful for God's overflowing grace that answered even my slightest groaning, and I want to become a musician who sends glory to God and peace to the listeners with the gift he has given me." This album contains the feeling of a pure hymn with the familiar melody of the original hymn without the usual fancy technique or arrangement.
[Hymn of Glory] is a meaningful life hymn of the two musicians, and contains gratitude for God's faithful love offered with a prayerful heart.
