350 Buick V8 is a dream to run and work on. I’ve had three Buicks and they hands down were best cars I’ve ever owned. Clearly that was someone’s baby. Let’s honor them and fix her up.
My friend has one of those. Painted it, 350, new carb clean as can be. I had a chance when I was younger to buy one from an older gentleman for 700.00 when nobody wanted these land yachts. I didn't and I hate that I didn't. Good luck with it.
My dad had a beige 79 electra sedan like that one.. his was fully loaded with the buick mag wheels, power seats on both sides and the headlight monitors like the Cadillac deville..

The mid 70's to mid 80's full size cars have become a car to use for a frame swap for post war hot rods and custom 40's-60's custom trucks to build a budget hot rod/custom truck.
@@elaineewalt8137 Yep, they aren't a very popular car so they are dirt cheap and they have the same wheelbase plus a better frame and more horsepower and either a 3 or 4 speed trans.
My parent brought us a brand new 1977 Buick Regal 350 CUI Engine blue with Auto Trans for $5,050.00 plus taxes with A/C and white Lether Interior. We never have any issue with this car except condensation water trapped inside the A/C unit and heater Core leaking inside the fire wall. The car was crashed in 1984 and sold as a parts for $200.00. I think the car you shown in this clip has the same engine sound like my car.

I have over 25 cars like these, all of them need a little something done, but that's how I drive around I don't care for the new cars the glass is thin the metal is thin, and have no personality and no soul the old cars are the best thing to enjoy. Enjoy them while you can while you can still buy non-ethanol gas to run in these cars like I'm able to buy.
Older cars are better in so many ways. Besides they look better than any stupid hybrid, plastic tampons with wheels. I'll take a classic American car any day over a shit can Prius
Kinda surprised to see an actual Buick engine in that car, especially at that luxury level, most were Olds 403 engines if I’m not mistaken. That car is in beautiful shape body wise, and that engine sounds pretty good as well, great buy, the only problem might be getting the plastic bumper to body fillers, if they’re like the rest of that vintage car, they’re hard to get. 👍
When I find cars like this people out there nowadays want more like $3,500 instead of $350. Prices are crazy on Marketplace I don't know where you find yours.
I'd feel much better going 85 in that than I would in a dinky sports car, lol. Used to do that in my old '68 Buick once in a while just to blow the carbon buildup out of it.

I just subscribe to my channel I had a couple questions about the 69 caprice that I just picked up is having similar issues it will run off the starter fluid for a couple seconds until you stop spraying it And then it will die it has a full barrel carburetor on it with a 350 motor I don’t know if I don’t have any enough gas to keep on LS

Those were the kind of cars if you hit something it wasn't the end of the world. I remember how quiet and smooth they drove! Fantastic road trip car.

That is a Buick 350, any Olds engine would have the oil fill in front of the air cleaner straight up.
