Whoa. You finished it. Kudos, SGN! Great job... all that hard work paid off. An automatic blaster that fires at least 90ft... that's just mad. Good job! Plus... that breech looks neat-o!
this reminds me of oxie's stampede breach, but more refined (it used petg nested in 20mm orange conduit, and a brass dart pusher) but congrats, you are the first to post a mod guide and yours is certainly more refined.
Ah perhaps I should have clarified. The unmodded one functions the way it is supposed to with the 4 Trustfire batteries, but the modded one would fire faster than normal and the cycle would occasionally not finish, leading to jams. Unfortunately I do not own a multimeter, or at least not to my knowledge. I seemed to have fixed the issue by lowering the voltage, but I'm still gonna work on getting the higher voltage to work. Thanks for the help.
Very nice. I have a modded stampede restrictor removal orangemodworks 9kg spring full metal gearbox rewired 25 amp micro switch mosfet but every now and then I have a problem with my breech bolt not returning back to original position and my clip gets stuck do you have any suggestions on how to fix this besides motor braking rewire? thanks
Hey SgNerf, I was working on my Stampede today and I came across an..... oddity. I have two Stampedes, one is stock and one I removed the ARs. However, the modded one will cycle FASTER than the unmodded one even though they both use the exact same batteries (Trustfire 14500 Unprotected) from the same battery pack in fact. Well the problem I ran into was that the cycle won't fully complete and the dart will not fire, leading to a jam.Any idea why this is happening? Thanks
Hey sgnerf I've modded my stampede with you're mod guide. But when I put it back together and pull the trigger it doesn't do anything. Ive tested it manually without putting the 2 sides of the shell together and it performs fine. The batteries are still the 6D batteries for now. And I've only fired maybe 15 eighteen round clips from them. Any ideas on what might be wrong?
@SgNerf I know making stefans is cheap and simple, but I find it inconvenient in a Nerf war, when everyone else is using streamlines. What would have to change in this design to accept Streamlines?
I checked all of the connections and switches and everything. Is there anything else that you know of that might be the problem? If There isn't than I am planning on just taking out the locks and switches and fixing them together into one simple circuit. That wouldn't cause any problems would it? (I would do that because I suspect that a switch or something might be faulty)
This mod is Crazy!!! ever since I saw this, i have been on the prowl to make one!!! I have everything now except for the PVC!! arghhhhh. I have been searching for about a week now and have been to every hardware/hobby store in a 30 mile radius here in the US... I can not find anything that will work!!! any suggestions? please? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
I am not quite sure if I understand the function of the plunger system properly. I know its a direct plunger system and that the motor is used to reset the plunger. But doesn't the plunger and the coil (or how the aircontainer is called) move forward at the same time? and wouldn't that reduce the efficency? Hope you can help me here
The black spring that you see through the clear plastic window in the casing is not the main spring, its the light-weight return spring which pushes the bolt system back after its fired. The main spring is actually inside the plunger tube and it works is opposite to a normal manually primed blaster. Whereas in a manually primed blaster the plunger rod is pulled back and the main spring is compressed then released to fire... in the Stampede, the motor pushes the plunger tube forward instead which chambers the foam dart, but the plunger rod is still held back by the catch so the main spring compresses within the plunger tube during this forward movement, at a certain point once the bolt is forward the Stampede catch mechanism releases the plunger rod and the main spring and fires the shot. Think of it like a person using a bow and arrow... the normal way is to hold the bow and pull back the bow string, the other way is to hold the bow string still and just push forward the bow itself, both methods create the tension and power required to fire an arrow.
SGnerf help! I'm too late for the old nerf pinpoint sight, and I found on ur website that nerf has a new nerf pinpoint site promo version, but where and how do I get it? PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!!!
Side note, this might not work very well with the stock streamlines I own (its alll I got) ohh well. this is not anything I would use in HvZ. its a weapon of nerf wars.....assuming I can find a proper replacement for that plastic piece I would defiantly try this....although... my stampede is already carbined! drat! :(
Not that particular system, as the brass at the back sticks out too far. However, contrary to popular belief, it is possible to make a brassed stampede that still fires full lengths.
Hey i saw the comment on the elite guns. If you get them can i please buy one from you i dont care which one i would just really like to have one before they come out. Msg me with deatils on buying and stuff. Thank you soooo much and have a nice day/night:)

Another excellent mod as usual. Looks like the perfect combination of spring and voltage.

Great video amazing range nice mod
nice. At least the Stampede's rate of fire is increased as well. As for the mod, does it lower or even eliminate the chance of a jam?

Hey SgNerf, where do you buy all your nerf blasters? I can't find any Stampedes anywhere in Singapore! Literally.
HOLY SCHMOCK ITS BEEN CREATED
Are you going to do a fire test on the new elite n strike if u have them?
A stampede that goes to 100 feet plus is overkill

Can you remove electronic locks by cutting the wires from the switch and soddering them together?
@SgNerf where do you find the springs for spring replacements??? i can't find any in singapore
e_e SGN, you made me regret minimizing my Stampede.
looks like your gonna need a longer tape measure
holy bejesus thats good

@SgNerf Where do you get said tips? Or how can I make them?

i think this can replace most of the nerf primaries already.....
gd rof... great ranges......
What kind of stefans are you using?
do you know where i copuld get one anywhere in singapore?
so was it semi auto before you mod it?
how did you get those mini darts?
is the stock spring in it
Is this mod cheap or expensive relatively?
Side note, this might not work very well with the stock streamlines I own (its alll I got)

my stampede is already carbined! drat!
:(
Has the rayven shipped to sg toyz r us? If so cost?
Holy shit! Brassing really makes that much of a difference?
is this still compatible with full lengths?
Not that particular system, as the brass at the back sticks out too far. However, contrary to popular belief, it is possible to make a brassed stampede that still fires full lengths.
So now we have an answer for noobs who want "Automatic Longshot" commissions! :D
Where's the alpha trooper Demo and Test fire?
O.O Woah.
Do you buy all these?
what darts is that
What darts are they?
I wish, WISH, that I had the tools to do this ) :. Poverty sucks...
I wonder how much it would cost to have someone do it on contract for me.
OMG
is it just me or your stampede fires faster?
O_O I want one.
Yeah uhm, ill buy it.
@DeMoN5377 no
Wish I could trade you for some Longshots...stampedes are easy to get here but Longshots are not on our shelves anymore :-(
@DeMoN5377 im not sure about that hi hi hi hi
I wanna be your brother so i can use all of yout Nerfs!
I would have a better chance of building a time machine before being able to mod my gun like this.
@pairofkings101
