    Great, now make a 3 kg version that has an acceptable lifespan for the mere mortals.
    Btw. the pre-inflated airbag is a great concept that ought to be developed more, eg. adding more chambers that would give more protection when you hit the ground at an angle. The Karpofly concept works really well, I am surprised more makers haven't caught on it.

    I got to see this harness a few months ago when I flew with Paul Guschlbauer here in Southern California. Seems like a nice harness. I don't know if I would want to have to pump it up every time I want to fly, I might need set up a air compressor on the jeep or something. LOL

    Absolute brillant product. But remember chrigel is a paragliding marvel. The lines are the natural continuing of his arms so nope:0)
    Btw I love your awesome videos keep it up

    Hi Greg. Thanks for your great work. Is the perm air protector removable? Im considerung to put one with my supair strike to minimize the packaging volume if possible. Thanks and enjoy your time in the air.

    Hi Greg! First of all, thank you very much for the good work you've doing and for sharing the knowledge with us.
    I fly Sigma10 with lightness2 and I'm very confy with them. What could you tell about my actual package vs advance XI with xalps 2 or Sigma10 with xalps 2, concerning pilot demanding and comfort. I fly for pleasure and like hike and fly. Trying to start Vol biv too. Thank you in advance for the help. Cheers

      Hey Jesse, you're welcome. You've got a great setup there! I fly the Sigma10 and am currently reviewing the XI. For a pilot of your level, I think you will prefer the S10 (Super handling), it's worth carrying that extra 1kg. If you fast for one day and do a Hike n Fly, you can lose 1kg body weight ;-) Skywalk XA2 possible but more suited for racing and you'll lose some of the refined balanced feeling you already have on the L2. Woody Valley GTO light review coming on Friday (excellent volbiv capacity), and also wait for Lightness 3 review later in year before ditching your L2. Also consider the Supair Strike, which is 2kg and very comfy and OK for volbiv, a touch small for longer adventures.

      Greg Hamerton thank you very much! I will follow your advice and wait. Looking forward for your review on lightness3. 😎👍

    Hey Greg, what is it like in the air compared to the Lightness1.....my all time favourite harness? Is it comparable? Cheers.

    Good day Greg, Would you be so kind and tell if this or GTO Light/Light 2 comes up on top for XC. Handling in the air and comfort? Thank you for your reply in advance! Have a great day! Adrian

    good equipment .

  • @courantsdrparapentereunion8462

    hello Greg, thanks for this video. Did you try , the speed bar on this harness? In the xalps1, when you push, you feel a big pressure on your body (not very comfortable) . Is this the same on this model? Thanks. Jérôme canaud

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 Před 6 lety

      yes, the pressure is much better distributed in this model. but you can still feel the pressure.

    Un énorme reproche à cette sellette et dernier achat de cette marque en ce qui me concerne. 😬
    La longueur du foot traps qui sert le molet 🤭
    Sinon rien à dire le top👌

    What do you say concerning the comfort compared to the Lightness 2? Is the Lightness 2 more comfortable?

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 Před 6 lety

      Yes, more comfortable, more yaw stable, more durable .. and almost double the weight. Lots of good things in the RXA2 but it's ultralight so won't last as long.

    • @bananajib

      No comparison really. GGL3 is a 3.5kg harness. Compares to a WV GTO 2.

  • @dferrerll
    @dferrerll Před 6 lety

    How would you compare it to the strike?

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 Před 6 lety +1

      it depends on your priorities. If you're racing, this is the lightest, most aerodynamic and most importantly, the smallest packing size. For flying enjoyment, I prefer the strike which has better feeling of stability and contact with wing, maybe due to the seatboard.

    • @dferrerll
      @dferrerll Před 6 lety

      thank you Greg, would you say durability is also better on the Strike?

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 Před 6 lety

      yes, although it's still lightweight so needs care.
