Reset them, take the pods, invest more pieces to create an odst launch facility like the beginning of H3 odst, call it a set like Mombasa deploy, set it to like 50 ish, put it on Mattel creations
Sadly, this is much the same thing that happened to the Jazwares Halo figures. Many fans were in love with the line from the start, but retailers mishandled the line to the point where they lost faith in the products and dropped the line. Of course their were factors on the manufactures side of things, but it wasn't solely on them. I am glad Mattel still is hearing the fans on this and it seems Jazwares is too! There is hope for the Great Journey

My hope is that after season 5 things will start improving, I recently got back into collecting Mega Halo but it's demoralizing going to 12+ stores and only finding 3 different sets in small numbers. I'm not giving up hope yet. Thanks for what you're doing,, I have hope that we'll get another Falcon Sweep restock and that we will get the Alpha Nine drop pods, they're my two most anticipated sets.
I love Mega, and Halo. It is my life. I have said it before, but Halo has saved my life. The community, the games, I wouldn't be here without them. These bleak times remind me of humanity's struggle against the Covenant. However, I sadly don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, unless WE the community come together to make the change. No one is to blame but us. We did this to ourselves frankly and I hate to say it. We were quick to judge 343 and never gave them the chance and we bit ourselves in the rear. The brand we all love is going down the gutter because of what we did. The only thing is if we come together as one like the Sangheli and Humanity in Halo 3, to raise OUR brand from the ashes, and save the one thing we all can agree and love together: Halo. With the help of people like Simon who are bridging the gap between us and Mega they can see that their fans are still out there. However, Simon can't do all the work himself. He is one guy after all. We need to play Infinite, and show 343, Mega, and Jazwares that we love their product. Play the games, buy the plastic toys. Buy the Infinite micro-transactions if you can. The community needs to unite become ONE so we can enjoy our brand not just as a thing of the past, but a story of progession, unity, and a test of time. And lets show Mattel there is money in an online store. Many beloved brands in the past failed because of their reluctance to use online shopping. Toys R Us is an example of this. Infinite needs to be fixed if I am to return the desync holds me back from playing as much as I did back in halo 5, however I have been supporting mega by buying the box sets since they are the only thing which shows up and not all of them. If 343 can actually deliver to my satisfaction with season 5 I promise to return and play competitively. I think my evaluation is reasonable since Ninja also stepped down from playing competitively since infinite dropped and his last halo was halo 5 as well. If 343 treats the community that supported them good then the community will support them back and the numbers will go back up overtime. It's no coincidence that the player count dropped significantly when 343 industries confirmed they would not be fixing desync. Even fixing the many issues still on MCC like reach's physics or bringing the cut content from PC to console would have a good chance at reviving halo.
yeah i tried looking for the drop pods online and found nothing, absolutely, nothing, it was only the old drop pods, so i have none and i feel i never will and i’m pissed the hell off, mega seriously needs to fix their distribution
Personally, I think a powerpoint with comments from the community is a great idea. Theres a lot of heartfelt comments from here and the poll that I really think they should see. People want the drop pods as well as all the other unobtainable sets and figures, we just cant get our hands on them. If they go up on mattel creations, I would buy them in a heartbeat.
Man... it's so tough to see Halo toys have such a hard time. Between Jazwares and Mega we have the potential for a new golden age of Halo toy collecting, and we did have that right around when the game was supposed to launch... but it all flopped... I love Mega and Jazwares, and have bought pretty much everything I can get my hands on. I really hope they dont give up!!!!

Absolutely, Mega do a great job. For example I agree with the very well distributed Line of Pokémon everywhere(In France I can confirm). Christmas is not that far, instead of sending just Pokémon, introducing Halo on shelves will may be a good move. Just a theory. Love your work Simon !
I think that having way to buy the halo mega products directly from Mattel would be a very good idea. Skip the middle man and sell directly to the consumer themselves. Although that would lead to a lot of development to create a website and department to handle that, it would allow products to be made then bought from fans all over the globe. This would directly help the poor distribution issue. Lego has had this whole kind of set up made for a very long time and it helps when sets are hard to find in your local area as you can order it online. This system would fix all the issues that they are experiencing. Sure there may be an issue of people scalping the sets, but you can limit how many sets someone can buy to try and prevent this issue.
If halo infinite continues to fail mega should distance itself and start doing its own thing, commercials, maybe even a stop motion show or something like that, just keep it relevant and in public view, like transformers! Maybe even make their own game.
One thing I think would help in this time is Mega slowing down in a manner of speaking. Some people can feel jaded when a new halo heroes line releases, they never find it, and then there's a new halo heroes line coming out and it just makes it feel harder to get certain items. Other things like the drop pods or wombat would definitely do well from this. Instead of just charging forward and people missing things, it might benefit to try and keep certain sets around for longer. I don't know how possible this is though, since Mega can't just decide to produce more of certain items with no outlet buying them to distribute. I'd REALLY hate to see the new blind bag series stop being seen widely, then replaced before many people can get their hands on it. I for one genuinely want to buy a whole box basically because so many figs are army buildable. An official online store to take preorders would be amazing for the brand. Listing sets, cases of HH/BB's, but that would be a lot of work and a lot of back and forth. Hoping for the best for Mega. The worst part about their state is that they're clearly passionate about this brand and line.

This would partly make sense. From my understanding there has been a level of, using this term somewhat loosely, animosity by LEGO towards MEGA. I recall early on that LEGO took MEGA to court, claiming that this was a violation over LEGO's intellectual property rights to the "brick and knob" configuration of their toy line. This incident is, however, what influenced the MEGA change in figure model redesign. LEGO is the heavyweight when it comes to this niche of toy design, thus it would make sense that they would by default have the superior leverage when it comes to vendors. Also all one has to do is walk into their local Target or Walmart to see the volume of LEGO on the shelves.
I think an issue is retailers like Target and Walmart distributions Some stores get 0 while others seem to be overstocked. I went to like 3 Walmarts, 2 of them had 0 signs of halo while the other had like 20 odst hive exterminators on clearance and a peg full of “ghost of requiem”.
I’m in the same boat as a lot of people. I’ve been a halo fan for as long as I can remember and have memories of early days mega bloks. My biggest set was the og pelican which has been lost to time. I’ve gotten back to collecting this past Christmas with my first set being the wasp. I have a passion for collecting no matter what it is but by far halo Mega has been my favorite thing to collect. I’m a “completionist” type of person and it’s been tough to see how hard it is to get your hands on sets. I remember them being everywhere along side ninjago at any Walmart/target. Please mega give us hope again.
I can't even find the majority of the newer sets, so I'll have to purchase them online which is more expensive. I still want to get the scorpion class, wombat set, floodgate and the newer items so that way I can animate.
Dare-Hero/anniversary, Rookie-Hero/Wombat, Mickey-NMPD Pelican/new DropPod/Hero, Dutch-hero/ another set etc. Those are some examples but never the less to get all A9 aint cheap, that is easily $100+, to collect all with the different variants is way more than $120+. I Need/Want 2 of each, sealed and out of package, but this happened and yes we and Mega need to make A9 more available even make a Vergil, not sure how to put it on the market but it has to happen.

I wonder what it is with small sets that make retailers so reluctant. In the past, the only thing i could find was blind bags and heroes, but now, i've been missing series after series of both
Mega should honestly pull back, reevaluate what were successes and what were losses. Find a way to rebuild their distributors trust by leaning into their strong points. Unfortunately a lot of previous waves had a lot of filler and peg warmers. As a collector I think mega would be smart to do less but make what is put out exactly what collectors want so that they are selling out and can show distributors halo is still viable (cause unfortunately not everyone has the understanding needed to see how freaking huge the demand for halo can be). Put out a halo 2/ anniversary odst or spi armor from the ghost of onyx cover and watch it fly off the shelves!
Honestly the poor distribution is just bumming me out, the Falcon Sweep is nowhere near being restocked anytime soon, alpha 9 basically never saw a release, Mongoose Outriders was only avaliable in 1 place in the world, Halo heros nonexistant, blind bags popping up in random places but still nowhere to be found, Hive Exterminators scalped to heck from what I've seen & still dont have a copy, Wombat Patrol or whatever is also only avaliable in one oblivious store, it's a rough time to be a Mega collector tbh. It doesnt help the fact most retailers stopped carrying Mega or mainly just Mega Halo one of their main brands. Idk why this is but Pokemon is so well distributed along with their hot wheels line, I dont get why Halo doesnt get the same treatment when it's just as popular if not more but who knows
Being in the UK kinda sucks when it comes to collecting this shtuff. I used to very regularly get a lot of the sets but particularly the blind bags around 2013 to 2015, but sadly they're no longer available without spending a fortune to get a hold of them. Got back into collecting very recently, been wanting to army build a lot of the covenant, marines and flood for each game. While I've gotten a good start getting some of the sets I've wanted, its a huge shame I won't be able to afford to get a lot of the heroes let alone blind bags. If they sold cases or just a decent bundle size through mattel, properly selling to the UK, that'd be great. I remember the blind bags always selling fairly well here too. Would definitely love to get a hold of these odsts. Would help with the goal of trying to get definitive versions of every major character for my collection and I'm a huge fan of H3:ODST. Hope things improve!

Mega is a great company and actually listen to their customers unlike some companies (cough cough LEGO), we got a set with all noble team in a set which Lego would not do. I want these drop pods to complete my alpha 9. I recently played ODST and it was maybe the best halo I've played. I do have the wombat though as it was on amazon and it is really good.
I don't know how business dealings happen, but an idea I've got it for Mattel to show retailers the numbers. Show Target and Walmart how many people are flooding the Falcon sweep page. Show how the poll numbers. Hell, have Microsoft/343i even chime in about it.

I’m with a lot of Mega fans when I say that the distribution issues are causing me to want to sell most of my collection and say screw it. Keep the figures I like the most and call it quits because I can’t find the sets I want. I make preorders and they get cancelled. It’s ridiculous. Mattel is a BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION and you’re telling me they can’t have all these sets on a their website so we can buy right from the manufacturer. Absolute garbage.
Goose approved, as a newer collector (its been 3 years jesus nvm) ive never had the chance to get almost any of alpha nine, i have the new buck, the 20th pack figs, and an extra dare i found in a pawn shop. Im lucky to even have those figures but my excitement when the drop pods were found was immersuable, i legit took a screenshot of them and just stared at ever detail, ive watched demarcation media's reviews countless times. Halo 3 odst was one of if not my favorite games of all time, so having these guys was a big thing for me, so when it was revealed that retailers weren't buying them my disappointment was actually immeasurable and my day was ruined (not rlly, but it still sucked a lot)
I feel the need of the drop pods since it was a worse release since the falcon sweep since people knew they were here but were did they sell those set. Then it means alot for me since i missed 2010 odst drop pod those were my favorite set intill these came out and i check stores and overprice stock but ill just be happy for one.
I think selling bundles of Heroes 16, 17 and 18 on Mattel Creations would be a good move. I got series 18 from Amazon but never saw 16 or 17, not sure why this should happen. Would it be possible for Mega to sell directly on Amazon as a client seller? That way their whole range could be available and even after paying Amazon's fees they would still be getting more for each set than by selling to other retail outlets.
If megabloks had advertising like lego I think their lines would do much better, but they dont spend much money on advertising. In a similar sense, my favorite car brand is Mazda. they have die hard fans and they make great cars, but so many people either dont know about them, dont have a dealership near them, or are stuck on old reputations they used to have when ford owned them. Not having much of an advertising budget really holds back a brand from their potential. Halo mega has been getting even better but theyre not being sold much at stores anymore. I only JUST got into it only to find very few stores near me carry it which wasnt the case when I was a kid. I pretty much forgot it really existed until now. I was 9 when halo mega originally came out and I got a few sets, then never touched it again until this year where im now about to turn 23. The quality and figures are 1000x better than they were when I was a kid and the details and customizability is amazing. It sucks that its hard to get into it as a new collector... not the best thing for a company if a NEW collector cant even get any products.
Honestly at this point I think Mega needs to forget about the physical retailers and (temporarily) just concentrate on selling stuff online. Once they have a reliable platform then they'll get a more dedicated audience and a good understanding of the demand and their stock, then they can start to reach out to retailers and prove the demand for these sets is there. You can see that whenever stuff is put online, people all around the world get it, like the first infinite wave which was on Amazon, then the flood firefight, etc. on Mattel creations. But with trying to get it to physical stores first the majority of the world misses out since it's usually USA only, then there's never enough stock so even the people that live there have to be extremely lucky to get it. It's crazy to me that the series 17 heroes that were factory defects/"fakes" had better distribution than every other set. AliExpress sellers can sell single figures for retail from China and make a profit, but Mega can't sell packs of 5 or full boxes on their store or Amazon?
And just to say, I understand that putting products in stores gives them more exposure, but there's no point having exposure if no one can buy it. If they want exposure now they could send these to reviewers, jangbricks has millions of followers and used to review Mega Halo sets, but now he can't because of distribution.
I had been looking for the Falcon Sweep for ages, I thought I had missed the restock but luckily my girlfriend got it as a gift for me! I don't know how she got it or how often she was checking lol, still building it and I still can't believe I managed to get my hands on it. I want to be able to at least obtain an individual figure pack. Halo heroes, blind bags and metallic drop pods for a decent price. I don't mind buying from mattel creations. If i haven't been able to obtain any at stores since halo heroes series 14 how can I show mega that I want to buy them if I can't even find them? I'd at least like the chance for canada to get anything new because I've already bought tons of in box sets to show I'm interested in halo mega construx and it hasn't changed anything.
If retailers don't want to stock them then it's a shame that Mega has already gone through the tooling, moulding and packaging process only to see it all go to waste. They should do something similar to the Multiplayer Mayhem set and put it on Mattel Creations and state how many preorders would be required in order for them to go into full production & distribution. If there's enough people wanting them then it'll be a bit of a wait but still worth it otherwise if it falls short of what's needed then at least there was a decent try to get it to the people that wanted them.
You need a online store That Sels Every thing from Halo to the whole world. Also Halo is a bit of a niche market but with the wright people on every level from commercial to seal departement ect then you can win som ground. Also invest in a new gripping story. With fan favoriete and new characters. You need a character that you can relate to grow with, cry, angry, happy ect.
I'd really like to have the pods, I'm hopefully getting the 20th pack and wombat set for my birthday so I'll have Buck, Dare, and Mickey, but I really would love to have the most recent and updated versions of Rookie and the other 2.

a big problem i’ve seen recently, at least with heroes and the blind bags is people stealing the figures. it is very disheartening to see that as a fan and knowing that it will most definitely impact the decision of the retailer in picking up that item again. we need to curb this because it’s affecting everyone in the hobby :(

I have most of alpha 9 from the previous heroes releases and and I’m only missing Buck and Romeo cause the prices were high for them, and I was planning to complete it with this wave, and possibly buy all of the new alpha 9 figs cause of the new details so they’d all matched but the distribution was not it.

Living on the east cost of Canada we do not get blind bags any more for a very long time the last ones I saw were the 10 anniversary bags and halo heroes are as scars as well we got up to 4 then nothing in till box of halo heroes 8 showed up then nothing and the last one I saw and got was halo heroes 14 and that has been it. Do you know if the new big HALO sets are coming to stores or are they just online to buy? from some one who has been buying HALO sins they started to come out and who will always buy halo. I am hopeing that the problem can better sonner and sadly a lot of my local stores have no halo I went to Cvs and got lucky I found halo heros but I believe after the problem gets better the halo mega contrux community with rise!🎉
It’s really tragic that stores won’t buy Halo stock. If they’ve seen how fast the falcon sold out, then they should’ve stocked up. I’d stores looked into the actual Mega Halo communities, they would see how much people want these new sets. But they won’t. So, the only reasonable option I can see is putting everything online only for a year or so. Let the sales stock up. Make stores see how well Halo sells. Also, on top of that, people around the world can get Mega easier.
Mega has shit distribution. Every major company has its ups and downs , but I’m just gonna be content with my collection. It sucks to see the fall of this great community! Did happen to get a UNSC Infinity so at least that will be the highlight for me!
As much as I am not a fan of Halo Infinite, and I mainly only enjoy CE-3 and ODST, I believe this is the best course of action for Mega: For the next few years, as Halo Infinite gains followers and players, focus only on Infinite. Coincide releases with seasons of the game and make it 50/50 multiplayer/figure and campaign themed sets from infinite. This has the best potential to get shelf space back in stores because you’re making products from a current game. Unfortunately this will probably take years. But once that space is gained, start making sets from Bungie era games. Start looking back on older stuff that kids now don’t even know what it is. That’s all you can do. You have to earn your right in the current era to start making “vintage” items.

To help you get a more worldwide view of the brand, speaking from Mexico, Halo Mega is OVERWHELMINGLY scalped here, Heroes and Blind Bags are slowly becoming a myth, they sell out so fast that we only now they even arrived at retail because of the price tags on the empty shelves, bigger sets last longer, but small things are either very sparsely distributed or scalpers are making a fortune, a friend succumbed and paid around 23USD for a Yoroi.
Wouldnt kill them to make something else besides halo and pokemon. Can I get a original ip set or something, legos killin them cause they have variety. They shoulda hopped on avatar or godzilla or even just a large jungle set. I bought 2 dragons from the kot set to make a 2 headed dragon and thats boss as hell. Im trying to get a third one for ghidora but i wouldnt mind if they just tackled godzilla. I swear im so close to just makeing it myself and putting mega outta business, ive already started casting them. Its like they have no more imagination or aspiration for anything in the future but to follow this drawn out path to there own grave, Fucken tunnel vision. Prove me wrong.

I finally broke and just bought the 4 Alpha 9 drop pods on eBay... I remember them being around $80. Then $110. Then they spiked to almost $250 or at least $200.... And the other day I saw them at $110 again so I just bit the bullet and got them... I'm honestly not proud of it, but man they are such good figures. I needed that Rookie, he's my favorite, and he didn't disappoint at all. The other three are all amazing as well. I still don't have the Falcon Sweep either... But Christmas and my bday are coming up and my gf asked what I wanted and I put the falcon at the top of my list so hopefully she can make it happen 😭

Dang. It's such a shame that things have been so bad for Halo Mega, lately. I've been collecting sets since they were first released, and I've been collecting them ever since. I've still been waiting for my Huragok, but hopefully they have a huge revival.
I'm not gunna lie, I didn't even know these drop pods exist. may be that I'm in Canada because I've checked all my local stores that i know sell Halo Mega and gone on amazon but its never anything new. Either its sold out or not in stock. Also i do find it crazy that we have all this Pokémon Mega, yet I don't personally know many people who buy the Pokémon sets you'd think that due to all this demand for more Halo Mega we would get some more, now I'm not apart of Mega as a company so I have no experience when it comes to distributions so i try not to get angry about that.

To be honest, I've been kinda bored with mega, i love the franchise and all, but the lack of distribution just makes collecting kinda depressing. I missed the old days or I could go to a target and see a shelf of Halo heroes or a figure I currently don't have. Not this order online stuff the whole part of experience of the surprise of what halo merch was at the store. That last set of distribution i ever got in Mission viejo California, keep in mind this is one of the richest counties in america, has seen no sign of mega since 2022.

As for distribution, I really hope MEGA makes a huge push to work with retailers, even if they have to work with smaller chain stores like Mastermind Toys.
My hope is that after season 5 things will start improving, I recently got back into collecting Mega Halo but it's demoralizing going to 12+ stores and only finding 3 different sets in small numbers. I'm not giving up hope yet. Thanks for what you're doing,, I have hope that we'll get another Falcon Sweep restock and that we will get the Alpha Nine drop pods, they're my two most anticipated sets.
I love Mega, and Halo. It is my life. I have said it before, but Halo has saved my life. The community, the games, I wouldn't be here without them. These bleak times remind me of humanity's struggle against the Covenant. However, I sadly don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, unless WE the community come together to make the change. No one is to blame but us. We did this to ourselves frankly and I hate to say it. We were quick to judge 343 and never gave them the chance and we bit ourselves in the rear. The brand we all love is going down the gutter because of what we did. The only thing is if we come together as one like the Sangheli and Humanity in Halo 3, to raise OUR brand from the ashes, and save the one thing we all can agree and love together: Halo. With the help of people like Simon who are bridging the gap between us and Mega they can see that their fans are still out there. However, Simon can't do all the work himself. He is one guy after all. We need to play Infinite, and show 343, Mega, and Jazwares that we love their product. Play the games, buy the plastic toys. Buy the Infinite micro-transactions if you can. The community needs to unite become ONE so we can enjoy our brand not just as a thing of the past, but a story of progession, unity, and a test of time. And lets show Mattel there is money in an online store. Many beloved brands in the past failed because of their reluctance to use online shopping. Toys R Us is an example of this. The community needs to stop being a divided force of pessimisim and become a united unstoppable force of love and positivity for not just the brand, but eachother.

Infinite needs to be fixed if I am to return the desync holds me back from playing as much as I did back in halo 5, however I have been supporting mega by buying the box sets since they are the only thing which shows up and not all of them. If 343 can actually deliver to my satisfaction with season 5 I promise to return and play competitively. I think my evaluation is reasonable since Ninja also stepped down from playing competitively since infinite dropped and his last halo was halo 5 as well. If 343 treats the community that supported them good then the community will support them back and the numbers will go back up overtime. It's no coincidence that the player count dropped significantly when 343 industries confirmed they would not be fixing desync. Even fixing the many issues still on MCC like reach's physics or bringing the cut content from PC to console would have a good chance at reviving halo.

MEGA is a great medium for collecting, so having a collection of Drop pods would definitely bolster my love of Halo to greater heights 😃
yeah i tried looking for the drop pods online and found nothing, absolutely, nothing, it was only the old drop pods, so i have none and i feel i never will and i’m pissed the hell off, mega seriously needs to fix their distribution
Personally, I think a powerpoint with comments from the community is a great idea. Theres a lot of heartfelt comments from here and the poll that I really think they should see. People want the drop pods as well as all the other unobtainable sets and figures, we just cant get our hands on them. If they go up on mattel creations, I would buy them in a heartbeat.

Man... it's so tough to see Halo toys have such a hard time. Between Jazwares and Mega we have the potential for a new golden age of Halo toy collecting, and we did have that right around when the game was supposed to launch... but it all flopped... I love Mega and Jazwares, and have bought pretty much everything I can get my hands on. I really hope they dont give up!!!!

Absolutely, Mega do a great job. For example I agree with the very well distributed Line of Pokémon everywhere(In France I can confirm). Christmas is not that far, instead of sending just Pokémon, introducing Halo on shelves will may be a good move. Just a theory. Love your work Simon !
I think that having way to buy the halo mega products directly from Mattel would be a very good idea. Skip the middle man and sell directly to the consumer themselves. Although that would lead to a lot of development to create a website and department to handle that, it would allow products to be made then bought from fans all over the globe. This would directly help the poor distribution issue. Lego has had this whole kind of set up made for a very long time and it helps when sets are hard to find in your local area as you can order it online. This system would fix all the issues that they are experiencing. Sure there may be an issue of people scalping the sets, but you can limit how many sets someone can buy to try and prevent this issue.
They should make their system go out to all sets that are currently available not just the very large ones
If halo infinite continues to fail mega should distance itself and start doing its own thing, commercials, maybe even a stop motion show or something like that, just keep it relevant and in public view, like transformers!

One thing I think would help in this time is Mega slowing down in a manner of speaking. Some people can feel jaded when a new halo heroes line releases, they never find it, and then there's a new halo heroes line coming out and it just makes it feel harder to get certain items. Other things like the drop pods or wombat would definitely do well from this. Instead of just charging forward and people missing things, it might benefit to try and keep certain sets around for longer. I don't know how possible this is though, since Mega can't just decide to produce more of certain items with no outlet buying them to distribute. I'd REALLY hate to see the new blind bag series stop being seen widely, then replaced before many people can get their hands on it. I for one genuinely want to buy a whole box basically because so many figs are army buildable.
An official online store to take preorders would be amazing for the brand. Listing sets, cases of HH/BB's, but that would be a lot of work and a lot of back and forth. Hoping for the best for Mega. The worst part about their state is that they're clearly passionate about this brand and line.

I was recently watching a clip from Jangbricks saying that partial issue of the distribution is Lego getting in the way for mega when it comes to retail space
It’s crazy how LEGO was able to do that.
This would partly make sense. From my understanding there has been a level of, using this term somewhat loosely, animosity by LEGO towards MEGA. I recall early on that LEGO took MEGA to court, claiming that this was a violation over LEGO's intellectual property rights to the "brick and knob" configuration of their toy line. This incident is, however, what influenced the MEGA change in figure model redesign. LEGO is the heavyweight when it comes to this niche of toy design, thus it would make sense that they would by default have the superior leverage when it comes to vendors. Also all one has to do is walk into their local Target or Walmart to see the volume of LEGO on the shelves.

I think an issue is retailers like Target and Walmart distributions Some stores get 0 while others seem to be overstocked.
I went to like 3 Walmarts, 2 of them had 0 signs of halo while the other had like 20 odst hive exterminators on clearance and a peg full of “ghost of requiem”.

I’d say the next step would be for Halo Infinite to get more content and then for Mega to make sets inspired by that
I’m in the same boat as a lot of people. I’ve been a halo fan for as long as I can remember and have memories of early days mega bloks. My biggest set was the og pelican which has been lost to time. I’ve gotten back to collecting this past Christmas with my first set being the wasp. I have a passion for collecting no matter what it is but by far halo Mega has been my favorite thing to collect. I’m a “completionist” type of person and it’s been tough to see how hard it is to get your hands on sets. I remember them being everywhere along side ninjago at any Walmart/target. Please mega give us hope again.
I can't even find the majority of the newer sets, so I'll have to purchase them online which is more expensive. I still want to get the scorpion class, wombat set, floodgate and the newer items so that way I can animate.
Dare-Hero/anniversary, Rookie-Hero/Wombat, Mickey-NMPD Pelican/new DropPod/Hero, Dutch-hero/ another set etc. Those are some examples but never the less to get all A9 aint cheap, that is easily $100+, to collect all with the different variants is way more than $120+. I Need/Want 2 of each, sealed and out of package, but this happened and yes we and Mega need to make A9 more available even make a Vergil, not sure how to put it on the market but it has to happen.
I really do want them! A lot of halo mega doesn’t show update or get sent to our targets and Fred meyers , we still have halo heros 15 😭 but those drop pods I would 100% buy. Just tell me where 🤣
I wonder what it is with small sets that make retailers so reluctant. In the past, the only thing i could find was blind bags and heroes, but now, i've been missing series after series of both
Mega should honestly pull back, reevaluate what were successes and what were losses. Find a way to rebuild their distributors trust by leaning into their strong points. Unfortunately a lot of previous waves had a lot of filler and peg warmers. As a collector I think mega would be smart to do less but make what is put out exactly what collectors want so that they are selling out and can show distributors halo is still viable (cause unfortunately not everyone has the understanding needed to see how freaking huge the demand for halo can be). Put out a halo 2/ anniversary odst or spi armor from the ghost of onyx cover and watch it fly off the shelves!

Honestly the poor distribution is just bumming me out, the Falcon Sweep is nowhere near being restocked anytime soon, alpha 9 basically never saw a release, Mongoose Outriders was only avaliable in 1 place in the world, Halo heros nonexistant, blind bags popping up in random places but still nowhere to be found, Hive Exterminators scalped to heck from what I've seen & still dont have a copy, Wombat Patrol or whatever is also only avaliable in one oblivious store, it's a rough time to be a Mega collector tbh. It doesnt help the fact most retailers stopped carrying Mega or mainly just Mega Halo one of their main brands. Idk why this is but Pokemon is so well distributed along with their hot wheels line, I dont get why Halo doesnt get the same treatment when it's just as popular if not more but who knows

Being in the UK kinda sucks when it comes to collecting this shtuff. I used to very regularly get a lot of the sets but particularly the blind bags around 2013 to 2015, but sadly they're no longer available without spending a fortune to get a hold of them. Got back into collecting very recently, been wanting to army build a lot of the covenant, marines and flood for each game. While I've gotten a good start getting some of the sets I've wanted, its a huge shame I won't be able to afford to get a lot of the heroes let alone blind bags. If they sold cases or just a decent bundle size through mattel, properly selling to the UK, that'd be great. I remember the blind bags always selling fairly well here too. Would definitely love to get a hold of these odsts. Would help with the goal of trying to get definitive versions of every major character for my collection and I'm a huge fan of H3:ODST. Hope things improve!

Mega is a great company and actually listen to their customers unlike some companies (cough cough LEGO), we got a set with all noble team in a set which Lego would not do. I want these drop pods to complete my alpha 9. I recently played ODST and it was maybe the best halo I've played. I do have the wombat though as it was on amazon and it is really good.

I’m with a lot of Mega fans when I say that the distribution issues are causing me to want to sell most of my collection and say screw it. Keep the figures I like the most and call it quits because I can’t find the sets I want. I make preorders and they get cancelled. It’s ridiculous. Mattel is a BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION and you’re telling me they can’t have all these sets on a their website so we can buy right from the manufacturer. Absolute garbage.
Goose approved, as a newer collector (its been 3 years jesus nvm) ive never had the chance to get almost any of alpha nine, i have the new buck, the 20th pack figs, and an extra dare i found in a pawn shop. Im lucky to even have those figures but my excitement when the drop pods were found was immersuable, i legit took a screenshot of them and just stared at ever detail, ive watched demarcation media's reviews countless times. Halo 3 odst was one of if not my favorite games of all time, so having these guys was a big thing for me, so when it was revealed that retailers weren't buying them my disappointment was actually immeasurable and my day was ruined (not rlly, but it still sucked a lot)
I feel the need of the drop pods since it was a worse release since the falcon sweep since people knew they were here but were did they sell those set. Then it means alot for me since i missed 2010 odst drop pod those were my favorite set intill these came out and i check stores and overprice stock but ill just be happy for one.

I think selling bundles of Heroes 16, 17 and 18 on Mattel Creations would be a good move. I got series 18 from Amazon but never saw 16 or 17, not sure why this should happen. Would it be possible for Mega to sell directly on Amazon as a client seller? That way their whole range could be available and even after paying Amazon's fees they would still be getting more for each set than by selling to other retail outlets.
If megabloks had advertising like lego I think their lines would do much better, but they dont spend much money on advertising.
In a similar sense, my favorite car brand is Mazda. they have die hard fans and they make great cars, but so many people either dont know about them, dont have a dealership near them, or are stuck on old reputations they used to have when ford owned them. Not having much of an advertising budget really holds back a brand from their potential. Halo mega has been getting even better but theyre not being sold much at stores anymore. I only JUST got into it only to find very few stores near me carry it which wasnt the case when I was a kid. I pretty much forgot it really existed until now. I was 9 when halo mega originally came out and I got a few sets, then never touched it again until this year where im now about to turn 23. The quality and figures are 1000x better than they were when I was a kid and the details and customizability is amazing. It sucks that its hard to get into it as a new collector... not the best thing for a company if a NEW collector cant even get any products.

Honestly at this point I think Mega needs to forget about the physical retailers and (temporarily) just concentrate on selling stuff online.
Once they have a reliable platform then they'll get a more dedicated audience and a good understanding of the demand and their stock, then they can start to reach out to retailers and prove the demand for these sets is there.
You can see that whenever stuff is put online, people all around the world get it, like the first infinite wave which was on Amazon, then the flood firefight, etc. on Mattel creations. But with trying to get it to physical stores first the majority of the world misses out since it's usually USA only, then there's never enough stock so even the people that live there have to be extremely lucky to get it.
It's crazy to me that the series 17 heroes that were factory defects/"fakes" had better distribution than every other set. AliExpress sellers can sell single figures for retail from China and make a profit, but Mega can't sell packs of 5 or full boxes on their store or Amazon?
And just to say, I understand that putting products in stores gives them more exposure, but there's no point having exposure if no one can buy it. If they want exposure now they could send these to reviewers, jangbricks has millions of followers and used to review Mega Halo sets, but now he can't because of distribution.
I had been looking for the Falcon Sweep for ages, I thought I had missed the restock but luckily my girlfriend got it as a gift for me! I don't know how she got it or how often she was checking lol, still building it and I still can't believe I managed to get my hands on it. I hope MEGA can fix distribution so all us Halo, especially Mega collectors can get the sets we want so badly

If i haven't been able to obtain any at stores since halo heroes series 14 how can I show mega that I want to buy them if I can't even find them? I'd at least like the chance for canada to get anything new because I've already bought tons of in box sets to show I'm interested in halo mega construx and it hasn't changed anything.

If retailers don't want to stock them then it's a shame that Mega has already gone through the tooling, moulding and packaging process only to see it all go to waste. They should do something similar to the Multiplayer Mayhem set and put it on Mattel Creations and state how many preorders would be required in order for them to go into full production & distribution. If there's enough people wanting them then it'll be a bit of a wait but still worth it otherwise if it falls short of what's needed then at least there was a decent try to get it to the people that wanted them.
You need a online store That Sels Every thing from Halo to the whole world.
Also Halo is a bit of a niche market but with the wright people on every level from commercial to seal departement ect then you can win som ground. Also invest in a new gripping story. With fan favoriete and new characters. You need a character that you can relate to grow with, cry, angry, happy ect.

a big problem i’ve seen recently, at least with heroes and the blind bags is people stealing the figures. it is very disheartening to see that as a fan and knowing that it will most definitely impact the decision of the retailer in picking up that item again. we need to curb this because it’s affecting everyone in the hobby :(

I have most of alpha 9 from the previous heroes releases and and I’m only missing Buck and Romeo cause the prices were high for them, and I was planning to complete it with this wave, and possibly buy all of the new alpha 9 figs cause of the new details so they’d all matched but the distribution was not it.

Living on the east cost of Canada we do not get blind bags any more for a very long time the last ones I saw were the 10 anniversary bags and halo heroes are as scars as well we got up to 4 then nothing in till box of halo heroes 8 showed up then nothing and the last one I saw and got was halo heroes 14 and that has been it. Do you know if the new big HALO sets are coming to stores or are they just online to buy? from some one who has been buying HALO sins they started to come out and who will always buy halo. It’s really tragic that stores won’t buy Halo stock. If they’ve seen how fast the falcon sold out, then they should’ve stocked up. I’d stores looked into the actual Mega Halo communities, they would see how much people want these new sets. But they won’t. So, the only reasonable option I can see is putting everything online only for a year or so. Let the sales stock up. Make stores see how well Halo sells. Also, on top of that, people around the world can get Mega easier.
Mega has shit distribution. Every major company has its ups and downs , but I’m just gonna be content with my collection. It sucks to see the fall of this great community! Did happen to get a UNSC Infinity so at least that will be the highlight for me!

As much as I am not a fan of Halo Infinite, and I mainly only enjoy CE-3 and ODST, I believe this is the best course of action for Mega: For the next few years, as Halo Infinite gains followers and players, focus only on Infinite. Coincide releases with seasons of the game and make it 50/50 multiplayer/figure and campaign themed sets from infinite. This has the best potential to get shelf space back in stores because you’re making products from a current game. Unfortunately this will probably take years. But once that space is gained, start making sets from Bungie era games. Start looking back on older stuff that kids now don’t even know what it is. That’s all you can do. You have to earn your right in the current era to start making “vintage” items.

To help you get a more worldwide view of the brand, speaking from Mexico, Halo Mega is OVERWHELMINGLY scalped here, Heroes and Blind Bags are slowly becoming a myth, they sell out so fast that we only now they even arrived at retail because of the price tags on the empty shelves, bigger sets last longer, but small things are either very sparsely distributed or scalpers are making a fortune, a friend succumbed and paid around 23USD for a Yoroi.
I also think that Lego taking so much store space is ridiculous. And it doesn’t allow any other competitors to buy figures.

I finally broke and just bought the 4 Alpha 9 drop pods on eBay... I remember them being around $80. Then $110. Then they spiked to almost $250 or at least $200.... And the other day I saw them at $110 again so I just bit the bullet and got them... I'm honestly not proud of it, but man they are such good figures. I needed that Rookie, he's my favorite, and he didn't disappoint at all. The other three are all amazing as well.
I still don't have the Falcon Sweep either... But Christmas and my bday are coming up and my gf asked what I wanted and I put the falcon at the top of my list so hopefully she can make it happen 😭

Dang. It's such a shame that things have been so bad for Halo Mega, lately. I've been collecting sets since they were first released, and I've been collecting them ever since. I've still been waiting for my Huragok, but hopefully they have a huge revival.
I'm not gunna lie, I didn't even know these drop pods exist. may be that I'm in Canada because I've checked all my local stores that i know sell Halo Mega and gone on amazon but its never anything new. Either its sold out or not in stock. Also i do find it crazy that we have all this Pokémon Mega, yet I don't personally know many people who buy the Pokémon sets you'd think that due to all this demand for more Halo Mega we would get some more, now I'm not apart of Mega as a company so I have no experience when it comes to distributions so i try not to get angry about that.

To be honest, I've been kinda bored with mega, i love the franchise and all, but the lack of distribution just makes collecting kinda depressing. I missed the old days or I could go to a target and see a shelf of Halo heroes or a figure I currently don't have. Not this order online stuff the whole part of experience of the surprise of what halo merch was at the store. That last set of distribution i ever got in Mission viejo California, keep in mind this is one of the richest counties in america, has seen no sign of mega since 2022.
