This is to me the best interpretation of this concerto! He makes it sound like an opera. I can hear different characters and the conversations they are having. Thank you!
I must say that I like the cadenzas. They seem to fit seamlessly within the music.
This is incredibly well performed by Szeps Znaider. He is outstanding and the violin just perfect technically and emotionally. Bravo!
I'm amazed at the control he has over his instrument.
amazing. especially love the flawless hand off to the orchestra after the marvelous cadenza in mov. 1
Lovely! Thanks Mozart for all your music
You're a great genius.
Congratulations performance,
It was a pleasure to hear you concert
Bravo bravo
Magnifique interprétation.

16:08 is when I get goosebumps, such an amazing piece of music

Exactly
Awesome. My favorite Cadenzas to this piece by far!
That's a beautiful concert hall.
26:12 is where the fun starts!
Anyone else thinks of Grieg here? :-)
It's very Mozart-like
Grieg loved Mozart's music and it was very likely to impact him
@@stepantseytlin7726 I'm sure Mozart did a time jump and stole this theme from Grieg :-) It's so crazy, for after 2 min of this theme it's totally back to the Mozart we know so well..
Love the cadenza! Bravo! Greetings from Davao City! ☺️👏🇵🇭
Моцарт вечен!!!!!
I love this cadenza as a essence of the piece - 19:54
Do you know who wrote it??
Thank you for the upload!
Mozart is the ultimate one.

perfect. great tone!!!!
Много красиво!
Perfect. interpretation!
Félicitations à la belle violoniste de présentation.
Great!!! Bravo!!! Decided today to listen to big shots playing this concert. David Oistrakh, Yasha Heifetz, Isaac Stern, Gidon Kremer (interesting interpretation), Yehudi Menuchin (awful - I dont understand how he was held to such a high esteem - probably just had a good character - it helps :)). I was not satisfied with any and after all, saw this new name and decided to listen. To me, it is the best Mozart 5th I heard - very clean and done with a good taste! Also his instrument is exceptional - the sound is magical - I checked it out - he plays a 1741 Guarneri del Gesu that once belonged to Kreisler. I am wondering if this is the same instrument Kreisler played while recording double Bach concert together with Tzimbalist. It was my favorite recording of this concert and the sound of Kreisler's instrument played a major role in it.
You clearly haven't listened to the young Menuhin. There hasn't been more expressive and touching romantic playing on the violin. Never heard better. Check the 2nd movement of his schumann concerto. Second best in that piece would Szeryng I believe. But Menuhin was a God.
Bravo!!! super performance!!!
great performance... cadenza by?
Bravo 😄👍❤👏
who wrote the cadenza?? its amazing!!!
tipical Mozart - brightly, glad, brilliant
听了,顺心! 舒心!
Does Someone know the cadence of the first movement? Thanks
Génial 🎻💖🎼
lol the guy in the background at 9:40 is so funny
Looks like he is not convinced by the cadenza. It "must" be Joachim's :-)
Solo starts at 1:57
Yes, all opera and dance.I imagine a ballet with digures of the commedia del arte.
真棒👍👏👏👍❤️❤️😭😭🥰🥰
28:47-28:48 those four notes are unbelievable
👍👍👍

Strange that his bow contact point is all over the place. I mean he gets a beautiful sound, so I guess that's not a big problem
Constantly varying contact point is exactly what great players do... among other things...
Its to create different tones, he is clearly intentionally shifting positions, and not doing it as an amateur
Ele toca com uma calma que nem parece que é o terror esse concerto haha
poop
👌🏻😂
Unfortunately the conductor does not know the tempo which Znaider wants in the first movement (compare the tempo in the exposition by the orchestra and the soloist's tempo after the adagio bars! It is not written in alla breve, Mr Salemkour, but it sounds like it...) Generally he brings nervousness into the performance while Znaider does the opposite. A most enjoyable violin sound and (apart from some questionable glissando) a great interpretation by Znaider.
*portamento...

Mozart's epic elegance violin music...
The Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major, K. 219, often referred to by the nickname "Turkish", was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1775 (aged at 19); and premiering during the Christmas season that year in Salzburg (home town). It follows the typical fast-slow-fast musical structure. Mozart composed the majority of his concertos for string instruments from 1773 to 1779, but it is unknown for whom, or for what occasion, he wrote them. Similarly, the dating of these works is unclear. Wikipedia
"Epische Ekeganz" - diesem sehr zutreffenden Begriff wird die neueste Version von Hilary Hahn mit Marin Alsop (Sept. 2021) auf besondere Weise gerecht.

un chant de mélodie,admiration profonde
No human wrote that, and you can hardly be one to play it that well.
how tall
It is a wonderful performance except for those downward slides/glissandos. They stick out like a sore thumb.
26:12
I don't know... frank Peter zimmermans felt so fluent and free. This one gets slowed down a lot and he doesn't finish the vibratos a lot and some of the techniques he uses sound so weird like how he cuts a long note short. But still talented
26:40 col legno😊
Theon Greyjoy on cello.
does anyone know what kind of chin rest he is using?
Probably a custom made chinrest. His violin is the Ex-Kreisler Guarneri del Gesu from 1741, once owned and played by Fritz Kreisler.

Nikolajs tone er udsøgt.
Che violinista straordinario!!!
delicated...
he is so tall.....
Molto aspro!!

soy el único español a qui
Yo también!
the violin looks like toy. but he is amazing.
9:40 that man in the background looks so annoyed.
Better than Zimmerman, I think
a string is out of tune
How would you know, you have to hit an open string. Any soloist uses the 4th finger in 1st position. And he didn't play an open G. So...your absolutely wrong.
He said A string... and there are plenty of open As...
The violin doesn't suit him, his hands are too thick for the Instrument. The Cello or the Viola would be best suited for Mr Znaider.
He still plays it better than you
Say it to Perlman lol
Bravo
