(OUTDATED) ROBLOX Car Crash Tutorial

- 2022 EDIT: I should’ve made this edit sooner, but this tutorial is outdated because I use a newer method, and some Studio updates have caused things to break.
Here's the tutorial you all have been waiting for!
Sorry if it took a bit long. Had to do some other stuff.
Forgot to mention this in the video but all of this is all done in ROBLOX Studio.

Here's some stuff i forgot to put in the video:
- Even though mesh cars are more realistic than blocky cars, they won't crash well.
- Make sure to check for viruses in your models! Use a virus script remover if necessary
- If your model falls apart when its unanchored, you can fix it by doing this:
1. Anchor it
2. Insert this script into it: www.roblox.com/library/4139619925/Unanchor-Model-Script
3. Done.

Tips :
Tip 1: If you dont wanna use a script for the conveyor at the top to stop moving, put the conveyor on the hood, and part of it should be hanging in the air. when its hit by a break joint, the part it is welded from will fly around, but the car where it broke from is not moving.
Tip 2 : Its not recommended to use parts to make vehicles turn, but they work well sometimes.
Nice tutorial! Although I use slopes instead of float pads. In fact I even made an armored train derail loosely based on your methods like an explosion detonated in front of the engine! Thanks and keep up the good work! I may make a special FX video about this.

In Simplest Form On What Cars To Choose, Choose Cars That Have Parts And If They Have Unions, Acceptable As Well. Avoid Cars With The Use OF Meshes.
Use cars that are made by NWSpacek. They are great for situations like this and are endorsed by Roblox. On meshes, yes, they are higher quality, but can be difficult to crash. Maybe a few tweaks can help?
I search up "blocky car" in the toolbox and use those that are made by a guy named dream or idk but his models have virus so dont forget to use a antivirus plugin
how to make the dashcam weld and put cam on back
Thanks, I been watching some of your videos and wondered “How did he create this?” This Video gives the answers to it.
guys forgot to put this in the video put the camera that comes with roblox studio the camera that comes first and add it to the dash
So now there's no weld function, so the options are either to just anchor the dashcam on the place you want (which will make the car not move) or let it fall down and you can't see a crash scene. The only way to do it now is to do the orbit function so it looks like a security camera.
hey im trying to make it so that when you drive a car into somebody at les then 20 miles an hour then it wouldnt kill the player being hit but if your driving over 20 miles an hour then hit a player it will kill them, can you do that?
How to set AngularVelocity on the new AngularVelocity:
AngularVelocity: 0, 0, 0
Torque: A high number

search blocky cars or go to my roblox inventory i have so much cars

just a quick question. how long did it take to make all of this crash not including editing the video and stuff.
This dude has a bad upload schedule but I lie the hard work and videos
3 problems.
1. First the break joint will explode the car as it hits it
2. I found a working car with break joints,but when i weld the conveyor,it does not weld.
3. I typed in the script for the breaker for the conveyor car,but it did not stop.

can't even go to properties :( and cant weld I can't make a successful game...

Hi so it works but when I click "Run" my cars start swerving in a random direction even though I didn't put boost pads or anything else that should tamper with the cars. How do I fix this?
- Another way to fix the welding issue on old cars, Go to toolbox and search "CarFixer"

every time i click run, the breakjoints block removes the conveyor because the car was touching it and doesn't do anything.

im trying to make the cars drivable but when you drive it and crash it into another vechile, the vechile that your in goes crazy and kills you and when you touch the breaker you just die. what should i do?

it turns out that roblox has deleted the dash cam ability due to a few glitches with the camera
Whenever i spawn a sedan or an off roader it works, but when i spawn a truck it doesnt EVEN THOUGH ITS BLOCKY!

Ummm can u help me with this?So I got the Building Tools by F3X and i tough it was a bit hard there to weld stuff so i uninstalled it but now when i try welding something i cant i weld it but it dosent work it.
you don't really need to use the F3X Building Tools plugin.
Also, are you sure you set the surfaces to "Weld"?
At 7:53 (on the left side of the screen), it shows that you have to go to the brick's properties and set the surfaces to "Weld".
To check if it is actually welded, you can move/resize your brick a little. If you see a fat, dark-ish blue outline on the brick, then its welded. If that outline is Red or White, then it is not welded.
You can use the f3x weld I tested
and i cant even do the dashcam because the surface thing isnt there
When I hover over the insert Object button nothing comes up and I cant find the thing either..
one question, how do you add fire effects in the impact like you did in the other videos?

This doesen't work. When I put the conveyor on the roof it just slides off, even though I weld it to the car and did everything as the video says.

you're only supposed to add the bodyangularvelocity if the conveyor goes flying
