SXSW History - The Lonely Island

South by Southwest (@SXSW) saw the premiere of MacGruber (@Grubes69), directed by Jorma Taccone and executive produced by Akiva Schaffer. After an incredible screening for 1200 fans at The Paramount in Austin, TX the cast of MacGruber sat on a panel for Film and Comedy nerds (@zachward). Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Val Kilmer and Ryan Phillippe gave short cameos, but the REAL focus of this clip was on Jorma and Akiva, two of the Founders of The Lonely Island. There was an amazing amount of support in the room for them (and Andy Samberg) for actually formulating a business plan and creating a path to do what they loved. COMEDY!
