I did AQA Alevel psychology and it’s very hard. Too much content and you’ll have to spend a lot of time revising and doing practice questions. I ended up getting an A but it was 2 years of suffering. It’s a rlly interesting subject though. It’s like I loved it and hated it at the same time.

Charlotte Lloyd I do revise on my desk but I just can’t stay focused. I’m fine like making posters and things but when it comes to actually revising I just can’t concentrate 😕
i’m going into year 11, and as far as year 10 is concerned i would HUGELY advise -
* do not put too much pressure on yourself now, you have two years of this and you will just burn out. that doesn’t mean don’t revise etc just don’t stress yourself out too much x
* when making revision resources, make them really good so you can use them in future. i would specifically advise this in english lit as you can forget the stuff quite fast so do it in your memory.
* do little and often is way better than tons trust me

That's amazing!! Well done! I'm hoping to get ABB next year but one of my subjects will more than likely let me down. I'm also going to do a gap year after my A levels if I don't get an apprenticeship so I can get a job and do work placements at various laboratories ✨

Congrats on your results! 😊 I did my two years of sixth form and then took a gap year as well because I didn't want to go to university, during that gap year I ended up becoming very motivated to go, so I'm glad I got to go when I was excited about it 😊 In malta we actually do two advanced level subjects and then four intermediate subjects, so yeah british makes more sense were u just do a levels cause I had to stress about subjects I couldn't care less for tbh...❤

I’m hoping to become a mental health nurse and is wondering if anyone knows what these A-level subjects are like?
I do health and social care, I did it for gcse too and there is coursework which is a bit of a pain if you would say but it’s not difficult at all! For me we have our exams in both 1st and second year in January so it’s great it’s done before your other 2 subjects making there less exams in the summer! But I really do enjoy it and I’m sure you will too! Good luck on your results :)
Hannah og I do English lit ocr and Ngl it was challenging writing 30 mark essays in the time given and just knowing what to write however it can be done I got straight D’s throughout the year but ended up with a B in my as levels :) the grade boundaries are so high thou for ocr it’s mad

Welll since I haven’t done my GCSE or my A levels yet I’ll say my year 10 mock results.
If u don’t know the new grading system it’s kinda like this
4-5 is a pass it’s basically a C
6 is a B
7 is a A
8-9 I think is a A*
Soo for
English lit I got - 7
Maths - 6
Bio - 7
Physics -5 ( I suck at physics and I did higher so I’m real proud lmao).
Chemistry -5 (this is the highest since I did foundation.
Well that’s the important stuff since I can’t do art in my stupid school, it’s not included.

Amyyy xxx awfully hard!! I had to work so hard in it but I got an A so I was really happy. But it was 2 years of torture. My poor brain had to memorise around 90 essays 😢😁
Amina Cute thank god someone else felt the same, I only got a B but still really proud of that as it was so hard😂 like I genuinely feel like it was impossibly hard
Katie Hopper yea you have to put a lot of work into it and the amount of studies we had to remember is just unreal
Amyyy xxx I done AQA Psychology and maybe I’m the only person that didn’t find it hard, I think it’s really interesting but you don’t necessarily have to memorise essays because it’s not hugely application based it’s more regurgitation . I ended up getting an A and and yes I definitely did work hard for it but it wasn’t my hardest subject
