I know the perfect way they could implement this. After you incapacitate each animatronic, you have the option to either pull out the part you need from them or drag them to the repair center, risking capture, where you play a variant of the repair mini-game where, if successful, the animatronic is restored to their old self and helps you throughout the rest of the game.
YES!! Now that would be the better alternative.
This is something i hope for in the future DLC.

This really gives me hope, because no matter how dark is the history or the theme, there's always people who believe that are good in people, or characters, even though they seems cruel, they're just hurt. This happen because people believe that still have light in the darkness, and this warms my heart.

This was the first FNAF game where I genuinely feel bad for the animatronics. Especially Roxy. Unlike in past games where they just constantly hunt you with little to no way to fight back, as well as showing basically no character, in security breach, each robot shows personality. So this was a really neat animation to see.
In the old Fnaf William Afton ruined the animatronics so the would be become hostile

Now that the ruin DLC is out this hits hard
Fun fact: after the burntrap ending the basement is destroyed fortunately the pizzaplex survives, all animatronics are repaired by Gregory, the basement is turned into a museum, both Gregory, Glamrock Freddy, and animatronics went on their separate ways but not before stealing a van.
This side of the fnaf fandom doesn't get much attention, most fnaf fans aren't that bad, this is what I call the creative and wholesome side :)

It's interesting how many people want the game to have an option to do this. Personally, I feel the same way. Partially because Roxy crying made me feel bad, and partially because with all the crap the past couple of years have thrown at us, I need some more wholesome in my life.
What can hit even harder is that Freddy is an ally, and the animatronics are Freddy's friends

Even though fnaf has a tendency to not have happy endings, especially with the fact that this is a franchise consisting of murdered children possessing animatronics finding revenge on a person that killed them in a famous pizzeria chain, it would be a nice change of pace to have something as wholesome as this, considering these animatronics aren't possessed by dead children, but corrupted digitally by a undead serial killer in a worn down bunny suit that always comes back

I can think of how to perfectly implement this.
After defeating each animatronic, you are given the option by Gregory to either restore the Animatronic or to take their part. Choosing one or the other locks you in that current "path." If you take the part, the game plays on as we know. If you choose to restore, you'll have to acquire a unique badge that allows you to call upon some worker bots to move the defeated Animatronic to parts and services. There, you'll play a mini game similar to what you'd do with Freddy, but on THAT animatronic to repair them. Once repaired, they'll be thankful for your help, and with plenty of fun banter you can have with the four, the five of you will work together to get to the root of the problem and take down Vanny.
Of course, with the Animatronics no longer hunting, this now makes Vanny encounters MUUUUCH more aggressive and numerous. The entire game changes with Vanny hunting you down the entire map. It's similar to Moondrop in that if you stay in one area too long, Vanny will spawn and start skipping to where you are. Unlike Moondrop, she won't teleport randomly behind you and will instead simply be a constant threat in every main area.
Each Animatronic will use their unique skills to open the path toward the final battle. Each providing callouts to hold off the enemy. Of course, if any of them fall, that's a gaping hole in your defenses and it's game over.
Not only do you have to combat Afton's hacking, but the bots spawning to attack the other Animatronics, as well as a final showdown with Vanny while the rest of your new friends are busy. We have to save her too after all. Perhaps finding a way to blind or distract her so that way you can knock her out.
With Afton defeated, you all escape with Vanny in Freddy's arms and you're able to leave the Pizzeria with your new friends.
Super Star Ending.
Edit: Thank you all for the overwhelming support in the comments! This is probably my most liked comment on CZcams ever. While I am a writer, I would seriously love to write out this ending for the devs if they hired/allowed me to. I think that it's an ending that people DESPERATELY want to see even if they do not make it canon. Hopefully the future looks bright. Thank you all again!

10/10 ending!
I do like this idea, but I would want this on the hardest difficulty to make it a challenge. No auto saves, limit save stations to only once until the next hour pass maybe, limited on the recharge stations until it runs out of power, and finally 'Game Over' screens not only send you back to the beginning game but any save progress would be erased as well to start over.
That is the kind I want to get the super star ending.

The potential was all there to tell a really heartfelt story. Gregory is confirmed to be an orphan, Freddy genuinely cares for him and says the others are friends and they mean a lot to him and that they don't act that way. All the other characters have personalities that shine through their corruption. All of them developed human traits that made them happy and even some that made them sad but the designers wrote it off as glitches or things to be repaired. Heck, they could have even been like a psuedo family for Greggory. It would be a bit cliche but a story that started with "Greggory has no family" and ends with, "now he has a family" would have been really great and all the pieces were there for them to tell that kind of story. They just...didn't.

This really shows how much of a real superstar Gregory is. He has enough balls to confront and truimph the animatronics more than the security guard spending all night at the security office, waiting to get hunted down.

After breaking all the animatronics, Gregory has to go around the pizza plex to find parts to repair them but make it so that vanny can't get to them.
And if you don't do it until 6 Am Vanny will collect the parts and make a new animatronic to haunt the rest of the pizza plex

Tbh all the characters have their ways of making the player feel bad. Roxy has her crying, as you said. Chica lost her voice and can no longer speak, yet she still tries her hardest. Monty sounds far angrier, which means he is going through so much pain. These are all notable in the Afton fight when they all cry out in pain.

This is beautiful. This shows that the other animatronics are just misunderstood, not evil. Roxy has been my favorite since the beginning! Her crying always brings me tears! But when she hugs Gregory, there's love in the air! â€ïž đș
P.S. If you watch the video while listening to "How to Save A Life" by the Fray, this moment is even stronger!
More than that, they are under control by William Afton. With Roxy's crying and talking to herself it is like she is still trying to resist. After the events of the game she would be free, with the others. This ending would totally happen.
I feel like "Masterpiece" by Motionless in White would work great, because "so how do I apologize, and put the tears back in your eyes"
It's things like this that make me proud of the FNAF fandom. Not all of us are weird, toxic, and/or overzealous jerks.
I just wish more people could see this stuff more often. This is more what the fandom is about. We like to find happiness in an otherwise bleak and spooky franchise. That's it.
That's the sad thing about nearly any fandom---or nearly any group of people, for that matter: it's almost always the worst of the bunch that get the most attention :/

Itâs a shame the game couldnât have a side like this, would have been amazing if as opposed to you having to just destroy them you also have the option to restore them and fix them.
Like I think these would be good arcs for the characters, obviously when the action occurs they override the programming - in all scenes this should be done post to their final battles:
- Roxy is given fan mail with all the fans telling her she is beautiful.
- Monty Gator should be shown something he loves, such as his guitar perhaps even in a broken bonnie area. It could then be a symbol of him learning the value of things.
- Chica needs to be shown that no matter how she changes or shakes herself, she should find herself beautiful either way. I think frankly a mirror and the text âYou are beautiful Chica, no matter what shapeâ.
- Overall this could then lead to a custom ending where the animatronics turn on Vanny.

Freddy was cool, but having Roxy and the other Glamrocks as potential good guys pending what actions you take, that would give FNAF as a franchise much more value alongside what it's already known for.

If only there was the happiest ending by saving the other three, this is a great example of what it could have been
maybe there could be a possibility considering there's the unsolved Balloon Boy arcade glitch along with Monty Golf and Chica's Feeding Frenzy, however would appear the devs never completed that or simply there's a secret still to be uncovered... but if unfinished, hopefully Steel Wool Studios finishes it and adds it in a later Patch or DLC, where much like Vanessa with Princess Quest where we free her from Afton's control upon completing them, maybe we free the other Animatronics by completing their respective arcade machines we too free them from Afton's control.

This is definitely an ending I would have preferred. The SFM animation is also well done too; very smooth and pleasing to watch.

Seeing things like this and how most of the community from what Ive seen are practically begging for it, I really hope Steel Wool does make a DLC or something where you can save the others.
If anything, showing how much the fandom loves the characters goes to show Steel Wool also knocked it out of the park designing them. I really hope we get a happy ending for everyone.
well really it's the fact that we see them when they're not 'hunting' us (at least roxanne). She's shown to have emotion, and goals for herself, and flaws even. we see a little bit of that with monty and chica, but I am a little sad we don't get more dialogue interactions with those two. I'm sure they have insecurities too if Roxanne does. Hopefully with DLC we'll get more fleshed out interactions of some kind. Chica needs a hug too and Monty needs a better outlet.

Whilst the "old" animatronics of previous FNAF were genuine horrors, the Security Breach ones are actually cute; were it not for Afton/Burntrap - whoever was infecting them - they would ALL have been genuinely friendly. Plus... Roxanne crying... whenever some cruel CZcams Reactor laughs at her death on the Raceway, all I can think of is poor Roxanne crying in her room, saying that she's not a loser; I just want to get her out of that place and give her a hug, DAMN IT ALL!
Man I wish that this was added in the game because that is amazing of how Gregory is nice to Roxy and she even hugged him and said "Thank You".

The worst part is that each of the animatronics, despite being a robot, shows more human emotions than you would expect from the machines themselves. Since when "only" machines sit in their rooms and despair over whether they are losers or not? Since when "only" a machine can feel emotions such as sadness or anger? It is possible that some kind of artificial intelligence was used in their construction so that the concerts they played look more vivid? If the animatronics were mindless robots, destroying them wouldn't be so sad.

I don't feel much empathy toward killing a appearent living being that is a robot tho it makes the question of what really happened in this pizza Plex during the construction and the final product which is the animontronic's we see and no today and love very much (well expect Monty no one likes Monty)
I love the idea! However, these same animatronics are trying to kill you, as can be assumed by the jump scares from each animatronic. If they really just wanted to carry you back to the exit, they probably wouldnât scream in your face and presumably bite it off. So forgive me if I avoid them and if necessary, kill or maim them as they intend to do to me. Self-defense.
(Sun seems to be relatively fine tho as he just kinda sets you back rather than ends the game iirc, but moon is as dangerous as any other animatronic)

The animatronics generally have souls trapped inside them in FNAF lore which allows them to think and act as like living creatures. It is an independant identity though, sometimes the kids' soul bleeds through but the animatronics very much have an artificial mind of their own.

An alternate ending would be amazing. One where you either completely incapacitate them and repair them, or lure them into parts and service to do the repairs after 6AM. You could then find a way to lift Aftons speculated control over Vanny and earn a complete ending where you helped everyone survive. It could be a happy ending where you live at the pizzaplex and party all night with Vannesa and the other animatronics. It would be cheesy, but I still feel that it would be a really fun ending.

@@euphoriangold3677 we can use that as different mechanic. For example, with freddy, all other animatronics fully unaware of your presence, so like, full stealth, for roxy, it is full agility, everyone can see you, but you can evade them easily with roxy's speed.

I would like to see a DLC where you can fix the virus, or whatever is going on, and work with the animatronics using their upgrades to get to secret places instead of Freddy, kind of like a switch out. More player interaction/storyline would be nice. Finding Bonnie and fixing him up, the animatronics realizing that Gregory is actually a homeless runaway (preferably Roxanne finding out), they getting Gregory to eat something and/or have a rest. Actually playing games with them to get to secret areas /and or storyline advancement. Play with Monty at Monty Golf! Oh! You and Monty scored a hole it one....by making a hole in the wall...was that room always there? Race with Roxanne! You found a mysterious clue in the car! Eat with Chica at Mazerise! Find out the story of her development from yellow to white (regretting this one now. How about...Gregory's reaction to pizza? What do you mean you've never had pizza before!?)! Play at the bowling ally with the gang...what ever did happen to Bonnie? Let's find out! You get the idea :P

This is really wholesome, I honestly felt that such a dlc, to repair the others, would be really awesome even on my first time playing the game. Tbh, this is the only dlc where I would be willing to drop serious money on.
The concept of repairing the animatronics is also especially meaningful when you realize it helps free the souls of the children murdered by William Afton, and undoes his evil acts. A sort of redemption for the lost children.
Added foxy and mangle suffered being damaged and never got repaired but this video gives the idea that where the previous animatronics never got repaired Roxanna and the others did, thanks to Gregory.

Not only did he risk getting pounced and killed by Roxy, he also risked dying during the repair minigame. This should be a feature in the game, with a new ending if you fix all three of the enemy animatronics.
I think the princess quest ending actually did fixed them from the virus since glitchtrap virus got destroyed

it depends about how the robots are exactly repaired in the game. for Freddy of was replacing his parts with the ones from other robots, and in the case of Shattered damaged Roxy, he would put metal plates with a welder. Maybe it's different

Ok, so Freddy was immune/resistant to Glitchtrap due to (according to some) having Michael Afron's soul in him, keeping him as "himself", minus the parts where you fail the upgrade minigame and where Burntrap hacks him during the "true ending".
The same was not true for the others, who were fully hacked/driven insane by Burntrap. This is why i think repairing and rebooting the other 3 could fix them. However, doing so would mean not upgrading Freddy with their respective parts, but also remove them from the game as threats.
I know there's multiple endings I wish there was another ending option to this Where there were an option to save them

I really wish we could have gotten more screentime with the other animatronics. Not only is it disappointing that we never got to see them act normally (without any influence from Afton/Vanny) but I also feel like they never had a proper resolution. They, like Freddy, deserved to be free from evil.
i mean we kinda got a taste of them acting normally (except for monty) when we're in the vents. after that though they are infected i guess. it's kinda unclear.
It's not chica's,Roxy's or Monty's fault.they are just controlled by the glitchtrap.
I think this would make sense, Gregory didn't intentionally destroy Roxanne unlike the others (Monty may be an exception), he just lost control of the kart and it smashed into her face.

Even as someone who doesn't play FNAF, I really hope they add in a future DLC or update that gives you the option to save and repair the animatronics and get an ending where you save all of them and become friends with them

I love the look Freddy gives at the end. Seemingly happy and proud that his friend is helping them escape together. This would make for a much more wholesome ending. đđđ
There should be a route where instead of defeating the animatronics and getting their parts to upgrade Freddy, we can also make them Gregory's allies in some way, and they can use their own parts instead of upgrading Freddy for him to use them.
Yeah it feels wrong for destroying each animatronic just to upgrade freddy. Its similar to undertale, killing everyone to increase your LV.
Edit: its a not a pacifist ending ( where freddy, gregory, & vanessa lives ) without the other 3 alive and not damaged

The simple option mechanically would be to make them alternate options to use/travel in akin to Freddy. Gameplay wise you can't have all 3 of their upgrades at once as you could by giving them to Freddy, but in exchange the pacified Animatronics aren't patrolling as a threat in those sections of the game (with Vanny, Burntrap, and Moon still offering options for stalkers to deal with)
Seeing Roxy crying her eyes out before repairing her I feel like I want to hug her and whisper "Shh" in her ears. After repairing her if she's going for a hug as a way to say thank you for repairing her I'd hug her as well immediately after repairing her.
From a fanfiction perspective I'd say even though Roxy dresses immodestly she has a soft side all the time.

WellâŠ.Ruin did confirm Roxanne reforms. But Iâm unsure which of the 3 endings is canon, either the scooping ending or the elevator ending seem canon

I feel bad for the other glamrocks. In the ending where Burntrap sends their destroyed versions at Gregory, we never see what happens to them but I assume that they are caught and assimilated with the Blob. The Glamrocks had personalities of their own that could have been expanded on. In a pacifist route that popped into my head, Gregory would play an arcade version of their games to free them from Vannyâs control, similar to Princess Quest in the Vanny route. They would aid Gregory and Freddy which would then lead to the three end routes (pretty much the Vanny endings are the same). However if Gregory chooses to stay, he and the Glamrocks all go down to the Ruins to confront Burntrap aka William Afton. Because you have the whole gang, Afton would send destroyed Sun/Moon, DJ musicman and hords of endos after Gregory. He will try to possess one of the Glamrocks but The others could use their special abilities to suppress the hordes.
Dude...there are video game consoles for each character (Roxy?)...oh my gosh this is the perfect set up.

An ending where the animatronics are reverse-hacked/repaired by Gregory and become helpful in the final stages would be cool and could lead to an ending where the pizzaplex stays open, representing the end of the Fazbear/Afton/dead kids/springlock curse _finally._ I don't even care if such an ending would become non-canon in favor of future installments, it would be awesome to see/play because the Glamrocks are genuinely loveable in game even as enemies!

The only FNaF game where you genuinely feel bad for the animatronics making their destructions more painful to watch than satisfying. It makes Gregory just look like an asshole the more times you see it, especially towards Roxy, since in their dialogue it seems they genuinely want to help him but their screwed with programming forces them to act otherwise.
Home Alone 6 made the same mistake making the "villains" genuinely sympathetic and making the pain inflicted on them durring the traps scenes to just be unfunny and not at all satisfying and causing the kid to come off as a major asshole towards people who never wanted to hurt him to begin with but just talk to him.

if only Greg could redeem himself during or after the game and show his respect towards Freddy's friends, especially for Roxy. that's what i will finish to do when i would realize that Freddy is still getting worried for the other Glamrocks. i wouldn't only think about him unlike Greg himself ingame. i would try to reason with them and if it didn't work, i wouldn't have other choice that making Vanny's paying for what she's done to them. then maybe repairing them unless a technician would do that

Honestly, I felt bad for the animatronics in this game. Especially with how Gregory lacked any empathy for wrecking them or when he avoided telling Freddy the truth about his friends.
He was just trying to survive. And since Vanny was hot on his trail, Gregory didn't have much of a choice on destroying Monty, Chica, and Roxy to obtain upgrades that Freddy most likely needed in order to help Gregory escape
i would finish to admit the truth to Freddy if i was really Gregory and help him saving his friends. After all the Glamrocks can eventually still being like sisters and brothers for Freddy. We can see that alchemistry during their concert in the game intro, they're more than colleagues for sure

It's really interesting to see that Roxy is everyone's favourite character (mine too), despite her being the most agressive and hateful towards us during the game.
it's because we're shown it's an act. She's super self-conscious about how others perceive her and is putting up a 'front' to be the tomboy/cool one. It's actually very fitting of the 80s cliches in movies and TV.
