Well said! I think this is a pretty great representation of the meta. I view Ira, Iyslander and Bravo as the "Triangle" and Deci Olympia just makes opponents sweat which is great for the playstyle. Maybe one day we will see a serious shift in these heroes placements
It's kinda funny. Almost all the heroes I'm playing at Commoner events at our LGS are either in the Bring the Spice category or are missing from the list altogether (Riptide). The only one that is somewhat higher is Betsy. I need to play a few more games with Riptide, especially into Ira and Olympia, but he should have a decent chance into those decks, because both heroes trigger all the traps he can play in Commoner. Oh, and because Pox Malone is such a funny card :)
It's both funny and sad that Boltyn isn't even mentioned in the vid. Beaming Blade is hard to use in the format, and aggro builds like Fai and Dash won't give you the breathing room to use it when you're down to single digits. I personally use DGA with him, and I accepted that I'm mostly doing it for "hero pride". Cheers!
this is a great resource for people new to the format. Ranking Dromai is kind of difficult, I'd probably slot her 1 tier higher, just because shehas been very good into warriors. But then again, its a deck I disassembled because some matchups you might as well concede before the game begins.
My favourite commoner deck is my Levia.
She picked up a good amount of power too from heavy hitters, to the point I can regularly swing 17-22 damage turns almost every other turn, and blocks really efficiently, she struggles into ninjas but I genuinely stand a good chance with her into every matchup which is why I like the format so much. You can bring whatever her and usually stand a good chance if you pilot well

I'm playing Olympia in my blitz armory, but I'm trying to convince my community to play some commoner, and I want to play guardian for a long time and if I need to choose among the guardians, my choice probably would be Oldhim, because I like him, and don't like Bravo and Victor, but I hate winning through fatigue, and I'm not a deck builder if you one day can bring a non-fatigue deck tech for Oldhim I'll appreciate
Why not try Anothos Betsy then? Her strategy may seem kinda dumb (pump the hammer for +3, hammer, wager, hit for 10 overpower), but what I like about her is the wager proposition. It's the same rotten deal as Olympia tries to sell, but in her case you have access to some nasty on-hits
@@ih8people I understand your point, but I've already been playing the wager thing with olympia, and don't want to play the same thing in another format, Oldhim was my first precon, I bought him one day before he get LL (I didn't know in that moment about LL system) so I'm looking some way to play Oldhim

Aggressive Oldhim lists want ice quake and frost fang which are unfortunately (maybe fortunately for the format) rares. Without those, may as well play Bravo or Victor.
I just notice one thing... Are precon Blitz decks are actually commoner decks?
They're close, but they have rare cards in the deck. If you cut those and replace them with some solid generics, then they're all mostly playable.
There are some rares in them (deck rares, not just equipment)
