    These moves are quite difficult for most horses. They have to have the physical ability to accomplish them. Very impressive. Beautiful horses also ❤️.

      No reason why most horses can't learn recall or sidepass, or fetch!

      @michelehemlokhexwhite4310 I was referring to the more difficult maneuvers such as walking on the hind legs (I forget the actual term). Staying laying on his back is also difficult for the heart and lungs as well as the stomach.

    Every time I see your fab horse 'sit and smile' , spin, and Sidepass (with the pipes) you confirm your methods are kind, independant, and allowing these sincerely happy horses freedom to choose JOY! Thanks!
    A mind is a terrible thing to waste - especially one that cares for you!

      Never too old. I'm 50 and had 8 horses. I now want my ninth after a 6 year hiatus.
      Hopefully someone can help you achieve your dreams ❤

    I do bow(one leg bow not classic bow we just started on that) stay and he does park out on his own when I'm done working with him (my 16'2 Appendix Thoroughbred)

  • @haleylahaie3740
    @haleylahaie3740 Před 18 dny +1

    I would highly suggest most people stick to teaching the classic bow over "compliment" I have recently learned that the one legged bow can be pretty harsh on their joints and have since stopped teaching it to my mare and am now working on the classic version with her. Just an fyi as I was surprised to find out myself (the one legged bow should be fine for horses who do it sparingly and have no known joint or shoulder problems. It's just a very deep stretch that requires them to put a lot of weight on one knee or one shoulder joint, so if done with an older horse, one who suffers from joint issues, or is done often, it can lead to discomfort and worse joint problems).

    This is even more proof of what I’ve been saying this whole time. Horses are just giant puppy dogs that you can ride. every horse I’ve ever had had the personality of a large dog❤❤❤😂
