    Thank you so much for the information ❤. Can I ask you why did you choose Germany instead of the other german speaking countries? 🫶🏼🙏🏼 Also it would be interesting a video talking about your life there, how it’s going for you, quality of life, future, etc ✨

    Thank you very much for the informacion! I have a question, if I completed my residency program in Spain,for example in General Surgery, and then I want to move to Switzerland, do I have to take an exam to prove my training or something?

    I am a Nigerian who studied in the Philippines. I am interested in Germany but I have no license yet after my graduation as I just completed my internship last month. Must I take the Philippines license exams before applying for Germany to start my medical career

    Thank you for this informative video! My only question is work-life balance druring residency, as someone who wants to have a child it would be very helpful to know. How many hours per week does one work in germany/austria/switzerland while in residency (I've heard some people say 60h, some say more like 40-50h)?

    Thank you for this video. It really helped me! One question, I am an EU citizen and I am doing medicine in an EU country (but not German speaking country), will I have to do a test to be able to apply for a Job (residency). I know I will have to do a language test. Thanks once more!

      Hi, glad to hear that! :) No you won't need a test besides the language test if you are studying in Europe!

      @@anotherpersiandoctor Hello! I thought you need besides the language diploma to take the Fachsprachprüfung , as a medical student myself also , being an EU citizen but not coming from a german speaking country also, that's what i found out about Germany specifically.

    Thank you so much for sharing this information, your videos are very helpful! I have a question please, i have seen internal medicine residence in Germany who say they work 24 hours straight and those who say they work only 12 night shifts with no 24 hour shifts? can you explain please? how can it be this different for the same specialty?

    • @anotherpersiandoctor
      @anotherpersiandoctor  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Hi thank you so much for your support! That's actually a good question, it is totally up to the hospital and the federal state (germany is divided into 16 federal states) if they do 24 h shifts for internal medics or not. If you apply somewhere, they will 100% always lay out the shift system - 24 hours for internal medics is extremely inhuman as usually they are the busiest department, specially during nights... 😊

    Hi dear doctor
    Dr I have a question if you can help me
    I am first year resident doctor in Kurdistan, iraq
    I want to go germany and continue my career
    My question is, does I need to do 2 year internship in my home country??? I heard for some sources they said for non EU doctor, it’s mandatory to do 2 year internship in home country!
    (Thanks 🌷)

    • @anotherpersiandoctor
      @anotherpersiandoctor  Před 10 měsíci +3

      I dear colleague! 🤗 I actually have never heard of such thing, if you have a medical licence in Iraq, you need to apply for an approbation in Germany (permission to work here) and for that you need a language certificate and an exam about your clinical knowledge. I have a video where I speak about how to work in Germany as a doctor, that one could maybe help you out since I linked a lot of websites for doctors from abroad on there: czcams.com/video/-1FF7Hx08JU/video.html&ab_channel=anotherpersiandoctor
      hope that helps you out ☺
