I discovered StiFi in 2016 in a hostel somewhere in Wellington, NZ... I was tucking into a free plate of pie, mash & peas, chugging a pint, and they were playing 'How To Fly' on a projector screen setup by the pool tables. Saw Dylan boppin' about with his bucket hat on. I asked one of the waitresses who this was, and that set off my love for the boys. I always get to tie their music to travelling around that part of the world on my own, discovering the things they were singing about in the places that inspired it, only a couple years younger. Fucking class.
This band is literally the only band I can listen to constantly over the past 7 years I’ve never gotten sick of sticky fingers

stifi is one of those bands that reminds me how much music has grown with me and how it literally shapes my existence in this planet. I've been so much, done so much, seen and felt so fuckin much and in the background was always something playing.

I feel so lucky that I am one of the few people on this earth who have gotten to experience Sticky's music. Their music has stuck with me since I was a little kid, and I want to say thank you to my older brother for introducing me to their music because without him I would have never even thought of looking these guys up! stifi is just one of the those bands that remind me how much music has grown and shaped me to be who I am, literally altering my brain chemistry. I've been through so much, seen so much, felt so much, no matter the time and place there was always something playing in the background. Music has been there for me and listened to me, and stickys lyrics are what brought me back down to earth
I literally searched sticky fingers slow songs to find they have a song called slow songs, man, this band saved my life, I’ve just been discharged from a mental hospital, turns out I’ve been so physically sick it was causing me to act erratically. Just thank you Sticky Fingers.

I always have alot going on in my mind but I am introverted AF. Doc says I got the ADHD and PTSD. For years this song, along with the songs Freaking Out and Hell and Back, have repeatedly been there for me. They bring me peace that I don't have words to explain. Helps me feel my feelings and then move on instead of getting stuck in them and spiraling. Please never stop making music together, you guys are the best 🙂
