This is great advice for all newer players. I wish someone had told me this 6 months ago when I began playing because now I am at a point that I have everything built to level 24 basically and my Shelter to 25 and I am struggling with insane research times to try and get T5 troops because o one told me anything like this so the first several months I played all I wanted to do was get my shelter to level 25 as fast as possible. So on all buildings I was using both construction and universal speed ups. Now I am just like the account in this video. I have tons of Construction speed ups just sitting in bag and I would give anything to trade them for universal or research speedups. Because of how insane long much of the research takes. I also will tell you the stronger you get and the farther that you get the more time each research will take. When you get to T6 I have teammates who are whales in my alliance who tell me that I am looking at years of research time once I start trying to do T6. So take this guys advice on his video. He aint joking!
Generally good advice, however, for new players who don't spend a lot, I'd say that you can use the speedups to get to HQ 16 so you can get t3 troops and be relevant in the arena
Brother I save but I use at a top commander event. Is that good to do so and I hav saved like a 300 to 400 days speed ups... Can I use or should I don't??
I understand your reasoning and I agree but from the point of view of a low level player, like f2p, I think it's implausible not to use universal in construction.
Maybe to a certain level but people should still work on pacing themselves and slowing down, if they manage to atleast lower what they invest in construction it can be useful for late game growth

NEVER use Universal Speedups on Construction. Never

I have level 20 HQ and before that I spent a lot of universal speedups. Now I will never do that.
I thought only energy drink needed to be level 15 to unlock the t6.. it turns out everyone needs to be level 15. it makes me cry!😢😢😢😢😢
