    Not young but have seriously considered getting into commercial real estate. Currently taking steps to free myself from a professional career so that I can start investing in real estate. Saw commercial real estate as a way to do this. Enjoyed the video.

      It's a great move to make, no matter how young or old you are or what background you have. As long as you're good at building relationships, you can do CRE

    This was really great. It's true, there's not enough content out there so I definitely appreciate your website and CZcams channel Tyler. Great hearing from Andy as well. My plan of action is to get a real estate license and do the CCMI course (learned about that off your website). Then underwrite a deal a day. And of course networking will be key. Thanks so much for your work!

      Love hearing that! Glad you’re really enjoying the content, Sandrine. CCIM is an incredible course and designation - couldn’t recommend it more. Let me know if there’s anything else we can do to serve you

    Great info and story. I'm glad this wasn't rushed through, and very conversational.
    Tyler, consider voice-over broadcasting, as another stream of income, lol.
    I know this prolly isn't your doing, but CZcams inserts wa-ay too many commercials and makes your video almost unwatchable. If Andy and you weren't so interesting, I would have clicked out, lol.
    Anyway, I'm a new subscriber and pretty happy with your vids.

    If a Dollar General is within months of its lease and doesn't know if it will renew, would you buy it? What else can it convert into?

    • @TylerCauble
      @TylerCauble  Před 2 lety

      Likely not - it's just not in my wheelhouse of expertise. Most Dollar Generals are in areas that are tough to find other tenants for, which makes it unattractive for us

      @@TylerCauble I want to buy but Im not sure if a bank will finance a vacant property. i just found out about Hard money loans but they don't want to lend to a newbie. What should I do Tyler ? LOL Im in Downstate NY

    • @TylerCauble
      @TylerCauble  Před 3 lety +2

      I’d find a partner! Always helps to have someone else willing to work on the project and split the risk with you. Someone with experience could bring those banking relationships, too. I try to stay away from hard money unless it’s an absolute must. The only time we ever explored it was when financing fell through at the last minute because a partner backed out (changing out loan approvals)

      @@TylerCauble Okay thanks! it's only $80k and its not a flip. So I guess I would have to figure out how to make it attractive to someone to partner with me on. I LOVE all your videos.
