I have only one question. How did you manage to make your girl sleep at night in her bed and in her room? Our girl is 1,8 and there were not even one night she slept without waking up and crying until I take her to our bed((((
I love that it feels collected and not "I chose a theme and bought everything in the same week from the same shop", like many nursery tours on yt :)
This room is absolutely beautiful, Fleur! I love the serene colors and your deliberate decision to keep the soft toys and books in the bedroom (and the plastic toys downstairs). I have zero intentions of having kids anytime soon, but I’ll definitely be stealing this idea in the future!

I grew up in Essex, UK and the girls' boarding rooms had these sinks built into the cupboards :) I think it was the equivalent of an en suite "back in the day" when it would have been more of a luxury to have running water super accessible like that :)
Such a cozy, tasteful child's bedroom! The flamingo lamp is so charming and gives a whimsical Alice in Wonderland feel. Themed rooms can get rather tacky sometimes, so I think you were wise to go with a more sophisticated decor with whimsical touches that River can grow into. Just lovely ♥️

I love how peaceful and sweet her room looks. Love the shelves and the end table. I wouldn’t mind having them for myself. I have been wearing workout clothing most of the time accept for a few occasions where I say wear some jeans. I put shorts on for the first time today when I went out for a walk run to get my pasty legs some sun

Love the home and decor content right now. Your style is fantastic I think! I'd love a video on your other home project plans or ideas. What a gorgeous room! I had a sink in my room growing up and friends always thought it was odd but it is incredibly useful for cleaning teeth and washing your face when growing up. Definitely, a great decision to keep it!
I grew up in a house built in 1900 and two of our bedrooms had sinks! So did the room I lived in (in another very old house) the year after college and I actually used it all the time in that room. Love it.

I've been watching you more in lockdown because of your vlogs. I mean I have no intention of having kids but this was gorgeous, it's so right for the house and she can grow up in it.

Lived in an older house (in the States) and I had a roommate who had a pedestal sink in her (carpeted) bedroom. Came quite in handy when there were five of us sharing the second floor bath! It is quirky, but glad you're keeping them!

We had sinks in each bedroom in our house in Kent growing up. I think this was a thing in Victorian times (or maybe earlier). Beautiful room - especially love the arrangement of prints - lovely!

Thanks for your Fleur, I recall when you got the day bed. It was in your last home, inside your office/filming set up. You were buying different cushions for pattern and texture but kept changing it, as you wanted a specific colour story. It always looked lovely though but you still always faffed around with it..lol. If anyone is looking for a day bed similar to the one Fleur has shown. There’s a shop in the UK called B&M and they have those beds. I was surprised when I found one in there. As my daughter wanted to exchange her double bed to a day bed. I bought the bed and it’s a really heavy white metal. I did have to purchase new mattresses separately. My daughter prefers this set up as we bought loads of cushions, throw pillows, fluffy throws, for the day bed, so it turns into a sort of cozy sofa style place to sit, when her friends are in. I can’t recall exactly but I’m sure the bed was only £120. But as I said earlier this in only the frame. I bought mattresses separately. It looks lovely.

Such a lovely room - nice that it isn't babyish but I'm not surprised that it gets cold with those high ceilings and single-glazed windows! Having the floor length curtains looks good but they cover the radiator which will stop it heating the room - thermal lined roman blinds would be better and would make the window areas less 'cluttered' looking which would be good for a what is a fairly small room.
Honestly don't bother with the bolster - they soon learn not to fall out and even if she did she wouldn't hurt herself!
The house I grew up in was built before WWI and I had a sink in my bedroom. I loved it, especially when I was a teen!
